Newsweek had a provocative cover claiming Obama was the first Gay President. Many of us suspect Obama bats for the other team and his marriage to Michelle Obama is just a political sham. However, its not Obama’s sexuality that is important, its once again the concept of Obama as the god-king is being pushed.
Newsweek’s placing of a halo above Obama is not a coincidence. Ever since he began to run for President, the Progressive media has poushed the Obama as divine saviour theme. The Left has pushed that narrative that Obama is here to redeem America’s sins. That’s why every chnage they get, the media shows Obama with a halop like background. He is a Pharaoh to to the left and this cover keeps pushing that theme.
This Newsweek cover shows the false idol worship the media has for Obama. They have proclaimed him a wise god-king that all Americans must worship. Well I am one American who refuses to worship a false God.

I think that most blacks will stick with Obama, including the most religious ones. Skin color trumps everything, as we have repeatedly seen lately. It is depressing, but it is what it is. I think you will see white, blue-collar middle-class voterts switching their votes because of this, but not people in the black community.

I hope you are right. I think you are right. If he is, getting 95% of the black vote won’t save him. I think there are states he’ll win, like California, but I think that this move has cost him North Carolina for sure, and probably Virginia. Rodan will have to tell us how it is playing in Florida. And that is a solid reason to have hope for the Romney ticket. Those votes may be gone from the Democrat coalition for good. God knows Obama has pissed on those people enough since becoming President. I think this election will be very close, but I think we have the edge right now. Whether Romney can keep that edge depends on how hard he is willing to fight, and whether he is afraid of being called a RAAAAACIST for daring to challenge teh One in the court of public opinion. One thing is certain: Romney doesn’t have to worry about losing the black vote. He can’t possibly do worse than McCain, and it wouldn’t matter if he did. The number of black Republicans is a tiny minortity of a minority. We should mobilize them, and use them the best we can, but they aren’t going to be lost when Obama screams RAAAAACIST. The more time goes by, the more I like Romney’s chances. All Obama has is race; his political wits are sorely lacking and his acolytes are grasping for any reason to maintain their support. I think it’s all but certain that the economy will, at best, remain anemic and at worst, will continue to fail. Democrats, save the increasingly small circle of true believers will distance themselves throughout the summer and, eventually, there will simply be no concrete reasons to reelect; “Hope and Change” will be seem cruelly mocking and Obama will become a caricature.
If he had a fraction of the political aptitude of Clinton he’d be scary, but he doesn’t. They’re breaking out the messianic theme because that’s literal all they’ve got. The fact is that The First Black President is a one-trick pony who has ascended by virtue of his race and thuggish politics and as the country looks to a second act, they’ll be horrified to find that there isn’t one. In November he’ll be eased out and a substantial number of Democrats will publicly grouse but privately, they’ll be relieved to have the albatross removed from their necks.

I don’t know that bathing Barack in Pink light will not serve him well in November. The Obamesiah theme worked for the first campaign he ran in 2008 because he basically was an empty suit. The bloom is off of that rose now, as the template now has a track record attached. That track record by the way, the last 42 months, has a real odor to it. By simply coloring the rose pink, and proclaiming Barack to be the champion of Gay people the world over is a real loser.
Consider this little fact, 32 States so far have held elections concerning gay marriage, and all 32 of those states have declared via their vote that they don’t want gay people to be able to call their living arrangements marriage. The only places where gays can get married in this country are where judges have used their fiat power to inflict that reality upon a citizenry that clearly did not want it. (By the way, this includes the Bluest of Blue California, and the even bluer yet Massachusetts.)
There is absolutely no evidence that being the sultan of swish will translate into electoral success, but there is a ton of evidence that it will lead to defeat.
