[Note: This was originally scheduled & posted last Saturday night but accidentally got bumped.]
Cool stunts (if real) but absolutely no respect for mechanical audio. I couldn’t find any background for that video aside from a blurb that said the guys found a stash of 400+ vinyl records and a DJ turntable – with a suspicious brand name I’ve never heard of before. Watch for the James Brown move at 0:30 in.
Let’s get out the grooves, toss that analog splatter on the platter and spin the stacks ‘o wax on this edition of The Overnight Open Thread.

Could we really build Starfleet’s USS Enterprise?
@ doriangrey:
Is this person in your district?
If so, he is outing a Republican’s home address on twitter tonight.

Nope… I live in the county, not the city.

Oh… and supported by the SEIU, what a Union douchebag.
@ doriangrey:
A Human Rights Legal Analyst too. WTF is that?
He is outing a home address of a potential constituent out of spite and a differing political opinion.
@ Calo:
Looks like this story might pick up a bit.
‘night
@ Calo:
One last thing, after the Dana tweet went out, Bryan Pease’s tweet seems to have been vaporized -- deleted! LMAO

It takes a democrat to be a Marxist douchebag like that.
@ doriangrey:
Nice little town y’all got there in SD.

Well, when you can’t win with ideas, intimidation is a logical next choice.

Yea, so are cheating, lying, stealing and killing, none of which I happen to admire or endorse as tools of political advancement of ones career.

In California, that actually might be a felony.

What the politician did in publishing a Republican’s address?

@ doriangrey:
Of course since a democrat did it, it doesn’t count as a felony felony you know. it was an unintentional gaffe, was taken out of context, and did no harm.

Yea, California has some interesting laws regarding privacy. Especially regarding the use of the internet to violate another individuals privacy. Remember, California is the home of Silicon Valley.
And further more..
@ Calo: IMO it’s worthy of a blog post with an additional hit to LGF. Maybe twitter will eventually notice how they are being used.
I hope this guy wins.
Good morning.
Helooooooooooo! Sho am dark in here.
@ RIX:
Good morning.
I have to go to a DMV hearing this morning.
Yay.

Department of Motor Vehicles?
@ RIX:
Yeah.
I’m trying to get a ticket reduced to a lesser ticket. Or something.
They’re actually called PennDOT here, but I say DMV so people understand.
The hearing is in actual court-court, but they do all of the PennDOT hearings on the same day.
At least my last name comes early in the alphabet…
@ Bumr50:
Good luck & take to da man.
Several years ago I got a ticket for easing on to the
sholder to avoid hitting a stationary salt truck on
a highway full of slush, during a freezing rain.
The cop checked “Dry Conditions.”
I got on Weather Underground got the sloppy road
conditions printed off.
They had a swat team of youg prosecutors & one asked
my plea. When I said not guilty he said “OK, let’s set
a court date”.
I said “I am redy to go to trial.”
He told me that the policeman was not there.
I said “Ok let’s dismiss fot lack of prosecution”
He just laughed & said . “If you plead guilty now, I’ll give
you six month supervision, a $240 fine & nothing on your
license. If you go to trial an additional $1,200 and
a point on your license.”
Guilty!
@ RIX:
One of my ex-girlfriends got a ticket for driving without her glasses. Thing was, the ticket was in the day, and she only had to wear glasses at night. We went to court, got the ticket thrown out. $500 in court costs. They make you pay for beating them.
@ RIX:
I had a ticket in another state that hadn’t been cleared up, and they’re trying to say that I was driving on a suspended license when I was pulled over on a two-lane rural road that went from 45 to 25 that I wasn’t familiar with.
I already pleaded guilty, but didn’t know the ticket came with a mandatory YEAR suspension.
So I got an attorney, paid him, and now I guess the DA has agreed to change the violation. Hopefully Judge Gallo is either in a good mood or too hung over to care much.
@ Bumr50:
You have an attorney, so you should be fine.
It’s the system in traffic court & a lawyer
should make the thing quick & clean.
Good luck. I think that your problem will go away.
@ Bumr50:
Good luck! I hate the legal system.
@ Iron Fist:
Traffic violations are a money maker.
Cities & towns are cash straved & they are not
above framing you.
Hey, it’s just money!/
Which reminds me -- I need to get The Mighty Geo inspected…
The Urban Health Initiative at the University of
Chicago is where Michelle Obama had her make believe
job for over $300k per year.
It was nothing but a patient dumping scheme.
They are now getting almoat $6M from the Administration
to build a data base to keep dumping patients.
@ Bumr50:
meanwhile, PA is screaming for welders to get all this pipe in place.
way to go dems at PGH public schools.

this ought to be interesting
Documentary on Fast and Furious Scandal in Production Phase
An Emmy award-winning filmmaker has decided he cannot stay silent in the face of a massive cover-up by the media complex and the Obama administration.
The magnitude of the government’s involvement in Operation Fast and Furious has roused documentarian Michael J. McNulty to stand up and call out the bad guys. Attorney General Eric Holder will figure prominently in McNulty’s feature length documentary, “Blood On Their Hands.”
