Former PSU President Knew About The Abuse

Graham Spanier, the very liberal former President of PSU seems to have known all about Sandusky’s predilection for little boys and decided to be ‘humane’ and not inform the authorities.

Previously, Mr. McQueary testified to a grand jury that he saw the boy in the shower naked with Mr. Sandusky after he went into the locker room to retrieve his shoes. Mr. McQueary testified that he believed Mr. Sandusky was molesting the boy and “having some type of sexual intercourse with him.”

He said he relayed what he saw to then head coach Joe Paterno, Mr. Curley and Mr. Schultz. The two administrators then relayed the report to Mr. Spanier, who said it was described to him as “horsing around” and not something sexual.

In the exchange, NBC said the three weighed whether to tell local authorities what Mr. McQueary had said, though it’s still not clear if Mr. Spanier knew the full extent of what the graduate assistant said he witnessed.

Additionally, NBC reported that internal documents reveal that legal research was done to determine whether the university officials were required to report the incident. In the end, Mr. Spanier and Mr. Schultz concluded it would be “humane” to Mr. Sandusky not to relay Mr. McQueary’s report to local authorities, according to NBC.

Spanier approved of this as well.

Cuntfest.

Wish I could see these emails to be sure but I’d never base any decision on the words of McQueary. Though, I’d start investigating looking for corroborating testament

    @ waldensianspirit:

ever wonder why sandusky never got hired by ANYONE after he ‘retired’ from psu?

his abuse of little boys was apparently common knowledge both in the nfl and ncaa. is spanier claims ‘he didn’t know about it’ then he is guilty of administrative malfeasance.

    @ coldwarrior:
Could readily be. Yet McQueary is not someone I’d rely on. McQueary was a penalty PSU took on from past mistakes

Absolutely. I was glad to see Louis Freeh is dong his job. I like him and didn’t want to be disappointed.

The State people didn’t handle it much better so I do have a hard time with their slowness to protect children and not seeming to have gotten the hard evidence they need. Two words, Casey Anthony

An aside: Mann and many other folks are no longer protected

McQueary got hammered. Prosecution still doesn’t have the associated victim #2 identified nor the chronology. And eventually a guy that was a kid at the time will testify against McQueary saying he was there and nothing bad happened.

It sure comes across as PSU kept everything ‘in-house’, as if Sandusky`s “bad habits” were something that received a brush under the rug as if common knowledge that was to be overlooked…until of course outsiders started looking under the corners of the ‘rug’!

There are a lot of frivolous accusations of molestation, but this is not one of them. Child molesters are evil predators, and are despised even in the hard core prison population. Everyone who was complicit in covering it up to protect a fuckin’ football program deserves hard time. PERIOD.

    Exactly…

Here’s a tip… if you find a 40+ year old man “horsing around” in a shower with an adolescent boy, you can safely conclude that he IS trying to bugger said boy.

I would imagine PSU is not the only sports program with this problem. It’s the only one that got caught. so far. It should be part of any amateur sporting organization from pee wee ball to NCAA to rigoursly check for this thing. we would get to the point where a coach needs to be certified that he is pedophile free.

And the internet is the bigger playing field for pedophiles.

Very nice. But what day will be set aside as “Felching Day,” on campuses nationwide?
