The Weekly World News was one of the most amusing pulps on the supermarket newstands from 1979 through 2007. The best thing was that every story, no matter how outrageous, had a tiny little shred of truth to it (just like LGF does today). It was so great that I signed up a few people for subscriptions without telling them. They loved it.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
