The Obama Boom: 80,000 jobs created in June and the unemployment rate stays at 8.2%

The mythical Obama Boom continues to leave economic damage in its wake. Just 80,000 jobs were created in the month of June. The unemployment rate stayed at 8.2% and the U-6 rate is up to 14.9%. This more evidence that the economy is in a stagnant state. Despite this bad news the media is still trying to spin this report as a positive to prop up their Galactic essential Pharaoh.

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. employers added only 80,000 jobs in June, a third straight month of weak hiring that shows the economy is still struggling three years after the recession ended.

The unemployment rate was unchanged at 8.2 percent, the Labor Department said in its report Friday.

The economy added an average of just 75,000 jobs a month in the April-June quarter. That’s one-third of the 226,000 a month created in the first quarter. Through the first six months of the year, job creation is also trailing last year’s pace.

“It’s a disappointing report,” said George Mokrzan, director of economics at Huntington National Bank in Columbus, Ohio.

[....]

There were some good signs in the report. The average work week grew to 34.5 hours from 34.4 in May, boosting many workers’ paychecks. And average hourly pay rose 6 cents to $23.50. Hourly pay has increased 2 percent in the past year and is ahead of inflation, which has fallen in recent months along with gas prices.

Ok, I could not stop laughing at this! 2% is good wage growth? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha aha, They really are trying to prop up Obama. The media can’t like about this fact.

About one-third of the jobs gained in June were in temporary services.

1/3 of the new jobs are temporary. This shows bushiness are not confident enough to hire permanent workers. No matter how much the media lies and spins, the economy sucks.

Its amazing that despite these bleak numbers, Obama has an average 47.6% approval rating. This shows the power of the media and entertainment industries efforts at propping up Obama and his cult like hold on people. Too many Conservatives dismiss Obama’s poll numbers, but they are doing so at their own peril. Obama is not a normal politician, he is a symbol. The mistake the Romney campaign is making is not going after Obama the god-king symbol. To defeat Obama, his godhood needs to be stripped and turned into an object of ridicule. Bad economic news alone will not unseat the Pharaoh. Obama the symbol needs to be destroyed.

What I am starting to postulate is what Обама’s reaction would be if he loses in November…aside from the Lame Duck Destruction Rampage he will surely go on.

since we know that the 80,000 were most likely not new U.S.Census workers . . . perhaps they were a combination of beach patrol and boardwalk workers :)

The disturbing thing is that Obama’s numbers are still so high. I think some of that is poll manipulation, frankly. Obama’s fund-raising is not keeping up with Romney. That is very good news, and shows people are voting against Obama With their wallets. That isn’t something that Obama or his sycophantic press can hide. This will be a tough race. I don’t deny that, but we can win. The goal isn’t to destroy Obama today. The goal is to destroy him on election day.

No, he is just another politician, granted the most blatant Marxist politician in American history, but still, just a politician. He is nothing more then the consequence of the 60′s hippies finally reaching the apogee of their political trajectory. Barack Obama is not the disease, he is the outward manifestation of the disease.

He only has power, because people give it to him. He isn’t as popular or charismatic as Clinton, Reagan, Kennedy or FDR were. If it weren’t for the Fifth Column Treasonous Media’s 24/7 puffing him up he would be as flaccid as Al Gore’s scientific integrity.

Give me a effing break. Your hyperbolic rhetoric is exploded well past absurd and clean into insane. He has no more of a hold on anyone than past politicians have, or are you forgetting Bill Clinton, caught lying to a Grand Jury? Ronald Reagan sending Ollie North out to take one for the President? There is time for that yet. We have four more months to go, and Romney is going to have a good war chest. Not to mention the super PACs that are going to inundate the air-waves before November. There is plenty of time to break down Obama’s god-hood. We don’t have to get it done today. As long as it is done by November 6might. We don’t want to peak too soon.

The Romney campaign sure stumbled out of the gate when they called Obamacare a penalty and not a tax. And, to those pundits who keep saying that Obamacare as an election issue is a distraction from the issue of the crapastic economy, I say BULLSHIT! That theory has got to come straight from Axelrod. Obamacare is very much an economic issue and Romney needs to tie the 2 together and light ‘em on fire.

Yep, on all counts. The tax/penalty thing was rather inexplicable since one would think they’d all be on the same page but, in context, it’s short-lived.

And the jobs report is likely to prove even more disastrous as have the last 18, when actually tallied as opposed to estimated by poll. Add to that surging disability claims and termination of UIB, both of which depress the unemployment figure which otherwise would be much higher.

I don’t think Romney is going to have mercy on Obama. I think he is executing a strategy to defeat Obama at the polls in November. That has to be the goal. It does no good to drive Obama down too soon. So far Romney seems to be doing well. There is no indication that he simply intends to lose well. He’s already been better than McCain.

The Brody File has learned that Mitt Romney’s campaign has begun a serious push to engage evangelical leaders behind the scenes, including weekly meetings, personal phone calls from Romney, discussions about appearing at more faith-based events, and serious dialogue about convening a gathering this fall with national evangelical leaders.

    They should include them all

98% of African-Americas voted for Obama, purely based on the color of his skin. Oh, I think you can guess all right, race trumped all other considerations in 2008, and in 2012, Obama will still be Black.

Ya think…and his wife needs to do the opposite…yet they want to tell us how to eat. Shameful.

Obama: “People Have Been Commenting — I Need To Gain Some Weight.”

His excuse for repeatedly making Mooch look like a hypocrite?

    Via Washington Times:

President Obama is eating his way across the Midwest on his two-day campaign bus tour of Ohio and Pennsylvania, but he said it’s necessary.

“People’ve been commenting — I need to gain some weight,” the president said in the Ohio town of Poland on Friday morning, as he explained the waistline-stimulus program he’s undertaken on his trip.

In less than 24 hours the First Stomach has put down a cheeseburger and fries at Kozy Corners in Oak Harbor, drank a Bud Light at Ziggy’s Pub and Restaurant in Amherst, and then began Friday with two eggs, bacon and wheat toast at Ann’s Place in Akron.

Eating is a staple of the campaign trail — though Mr. Obama’s own habits come under extra scrutiny because his wife, Michelle, has made healthy eating her major project as first lady.

But she is not along on this trip — the president joked she needed to stay home and supervise Malia, their daughter who just turned 14, and her friends — and that means the president has returned to his burger-eating ways.

Pennsylvania: Militant Atheist Sues Family-Owned Restaurant For Offering Sunday Discount To Churchgoers

A family-owned restaurant in Pennsylvania is under a state discrimination investigation for offering a ten percent discount for diners who present a church bulletin on Sundays.

The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission confirmed there is an investigation against Prudhomme’s Lost Cajun Kitchen in the town of Columbia. The complaint was filed by John Wolff, a retired electrical engineer.

“I did this not out of spite, but out of a feeling against the prevailing self-righteousness that stems from religion, particular in Lancaster County,” Wolff told the York Daily Record. “I don’t consider it an earth-shaking affair, but in this area in particular, we seem to have so many self-righteous religious people, so it just annoys me.”

Despite no mention of Beaver in his itinerary, Obama did indeed make an appearance here. At 12:30 p.m. officials were shutting down traffic to Third Street in Beaver, where in the area of Levanti’s Restaurant people were gathering.
At around 1 p.m. people reported not being able to get close to Kretchmar’s and were being checked for weapons in the vicinity.

Sorry, but I am gong to have to disagree with you guys on this one. The Restaurant in Question was offering a 10% discount to anyone who brought in a church bulletin. They were in fact discriminating against Atheists as well as any number of non-christian based religious faiths. Just to clarify, as an Atheist, he could not bring in a bulletin from his local Atheist society Sunday afternoon Beer Summit and receive a 10% discount for it.

That is discrimination, and it’s wrong.

You really don’t understand the concept of discrimination do you. Discrimination is all about who you include or exclude and why. It’s not discrimination when the factors involved are based on voluntary non-moral ethical or personal conviction choices.

It is discrimination when those choices are based on moral, ethical, or matters of personal conviction. It’s blatantly obvious to everyone here that a discount offered to everyone except Jew’s or Black’s would be an act of racial discrimination.

But you can’t seem to grasp that the exclusion of Atheists is the exact same discrimination as if you were excluding them because they were Jewish or black.

Should churches be allowed by the government to participant in free market principles? Should they be required to make that separation of church and state in all financial transaction no matter how small.

I would say we are getting to the point where we have to deliniate the services a church provides to the country and then tell the government they are legally required not to compete with the churches on the church turf. That is most social ills. Homelessness. The government would have to step back from its programs and just donate to chruches like every one if they want to accomplish social goals of the soul and better souls.

The resturant isn’t refusing service if he doesn’t bascially have what amounts to a coupon. Now if he was refused service because he didn’t have a church bulletin than yeah I see a legal problem. The thing is he can eat there and he could pick up the coupon (bulletin) from the Church without even attending the service. Those bulletins are handed out freely. And even if he doesn’t have a bulletin he isn’t being refused service. This has nothing to do with ‘whites only’ or ‘Christians only’….it is bascially a coupon which he could easily get with not problem if he wants a 10% discount.

Yes I do know that. There is no need to be so condescending. What I was getting at was the fact that these people believe it is their right to bitch and moan and complain about a business’s hours because they don’t like them. They made life hell for that company.

Really? You do understand that there are no laws requiring a business to set it’s operating hours, right? That has to be the silliest Strawman comparison I’ve read all year.

Yes there are. Ever hear of Blue Laws?? And yes they are still enforced in certain counties.

    So,

A guitar store, gives a discount to players who come in with a chruch program. Say 10% off because the store owner wants to help the music guys to go to chruch and learn how to act like Christians.

When was a Bar or Liquor Store allowed to set its own hours?? State and Cities set business operating hours in many cases. Then there are all the ‘Blue Laws’…

    @ doriangrey:
Actually, no. One’s skin color is something one is born with, and cannot be changed, unless perhaps you are Michael Jackson, and see where that got him.

Attendance/non-attendance at a church is a matter of choice. People who choose to do unpopular things should not cry “discrimination” when the fact of their doing so leads others to shun them.

As the old song goes: “Then I got put out of church, for talkin’ ’bout diddy-wah-diddy too much…”

  166. heysoos
    166 | July 6, 2012 4:38 pm

as a society were should be trying to make life easier and fair…discrimination of religious or gender, or race effect everyone and common sense should dictate the law, but common sense should also apply to other forms of discrimination, like TFK says in sales and marketing…I mean who gives a crap if the Little League team gets a break, it’s just higher volume, lower price….as for seniors, there is a long held tradition for giving them a deal on lunch or services because of the assumed fixed income….it may be discrimination in the strictest sense but not in the common sense where I live….religious discrimination is shitty, but for practical reasons, I’d just pay the rate or keep going….it’s a matter of scale and harm

  167. taxfreekiller
    167 | July 6, 2012 4:40 pm

Stat’s most likely show that people who go to church have larger families. Thus more income for the cafe.
Stat’s most likely show that people who go to church will not write as many hot checks for food at a cafe as commies and Godless ones.
Stat’s most likely show that if you sever a good Christan good food for a good price you buss. will grow.

So many levels this piss ant has it all f’d up in his commie hate the American way mind.
