I know, why don’t we open up a dialogue with these animals. Maybe we can negotiate some lasting peace in the Middle East if we only take the proper time to understand their plight. (sarcasm definitely intended.)

Energy Department sneaks offshore moratorium past public

While the Obama administration was taking a victory lap last week after the 5-4 Supreme Court decision to uphold the president’s signature legislative accomplishment, Obamacare, the Interior Department was using the media black hole to release a much-awaited five-year plan for offshore drilling. That plan reinstitutes a 30-year moratorium on offshore energy exploration that will keep our most promising resources locked away until long after President Obama begins plans for his presidential library. Given the timing, it is clear that the self-described “all of the above” energy president didn’t want the American people to discover that he was denying access to nearly 98 percent of America’s vast energy potential on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS).

What is truly funny/tragic/horrifying is that the muzz seem to believe their own lies.

They are insane. There is no reasoning with them. Any attempt to do so will only be used as leverage. Just look at the peace talks our admin has had withh the taliban, or sucking up the mo-bro-hood of egypt and elsewhere.

OTOH, fooling yourself that the mo-bro-hood is anything but the father of all contemporary jihadist gangs who will use anything to advance the goal of spreading islamic supremacist even democracy and useful idiots, is to be voluntarily disconnected from reality.

Romney would face tough road trying to repeal ‘Obamacare’ if elected

Unless Republicans gain huge numbers in Congress, Mitt Romney likely would not have the votes to simply repeal the entire law.

  21. 21 | July 10, 2012 4:57 pm

    @ Guggi:

The GOP need just 51 votes in the Senate. They can do it by reconciliation. If Romney doesn’t repeal this, he will be a one term President. Most on the Right despise him and this would be the pretext for a party purge in the GOP and in 2016, he would face a primary challenge.

  22. 22 | July 10, 2012 4:58 pm

    @ RIX:

Oh hey, I had forgotten all about that. How Thomas Jefferson bought a Q’ran while on a diplomatic mission in England and how he read it on his way back to America along with John Jay, who then wrote a forward in the book stating that we’d better go to war immediately with these savages and never ever allow them into our country. Wait, that little truth is opposite of the politically correct version. That Jefferson and Washington had a deep respect for the muzslimes.

Top Romney-Bashing Democrat Wasserman Schultz Had Swiss Bank Account

The chair of the Democrat National Committee, Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, has been all over television bashing GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney for his offshore accounts.

It turns out that Schultz herself parked money in Swiss bank accounts and other overseas investments, according to reporting by the Weekly Standard.

…disclosure forms reveal that in 2010, Wasserman Schultz invested between $1,001-$15,000 in a 401k retirement fund run by Davis Financial Fund. As the fund discloses, it is invested in the Julius Baer Group Ltd. and the State Bank of India GDR Ltd., as well as other financial, insurance, bank institutions.

The Julius Baer Group is a major Swiss banking firm.

The Weekly Standard’s reporting also found that in 2004, Wasserman Schultz invested in an international mutual fund that in turn had a series of overseas investments including–

…HSBC bank (a British financial institution), Hengdeli Holdings (a Hong Kong watch company), Novo Nordisk (a Danish drug company), Volkswagen (a German auto company), Rakuten (a Japanese shipping business), Richemont Cie Financiere (a Swiss luxury goods company), and many others…

The hypocrisy, though, is clear: The Democrats, as well as President Obama, hope to paint Romney as an out of touch man for holding money in overseas bank accounts, when in reality their own chairman, Wasserman Schultz, had overseas investments.

Fortunately or unfortunately, if elected, he’ll probably be a two term President. Such is the benefit of following Bozo the Clown into the White House. If he merely shows even a modest amount of competence, he’ll look like a rock star by comparison. We who regularly vote in GOP primaries screwed the pooch this year by not nominating a true conservative and falling for that electability crap. (I voted for Newt, but could I have done more to convince others?) For better of worse, we have Romney as the only American capable of ousting this petulance from the nation’s top position.

I hope that the cabal of righty bloggers can keep him in line. Please allow me to participate in your war, should it come to that.

I also think Romney will win. The numbers for B. Hussein are worse than portrayed by the pollsters and once the debates start Mitt should hammer him. Everyone will then see the uglier side of Hussein. Romney must not hold back and bring up Rev Wright, Bill Ayers Frank Marshall Davis, B. Hussein’s calculated damage to the economy, his bowing to foreign leaders, etc.

  41. 41 | July 10, 2012 5:35 pm

    @ Flyovercountry:

Fortunately or unfortunately, if elected, he’ll probably be a two term President.

If he screws up, he will be challenged in 2016. Romney will not have the media or culture on his side. He will have no room for margin. If he governs like a Leftist, Allen Wes, Rand Paul nor someone else will challenge him for the nomination and probably win. The Right’s patience is at a minimal.

I will keep you in your loop after the election. But I emailed one prominent blogger who then CCd a few others and I was stunned. That’s all I will say for now.

I will also detail a plan for Bloggers to start taking over the GOP at a Precinct Captain level. Its only a few hours a month and if enough start to get involved, we can push the GOP to the Right and purge the Leftists from the Party.

The Tea Party was a good 1st step, but now its time for infiltration.

Liberal group calls Romney too white for blacks to like

The YouTube from “The Message,” an online “media hub,” is described as a satirical video of Romney getting advice on what to say to the civil rights group. Or, as they said in a release, the video “lacerates Romney and his advisors as they prepare for his speech to NAACP in Houston on Wednesday.”

The lead “advisor” in the video is described as the brainchild of the 1988 Willie Horton ads and the 2004 swift boat campaign. He states bluntly that “blacks don’t like us and we’re about to give a speech to a whole lot of them.”

He also says to the candidate, “you are so white, you are extremely white, you make Wonder Bread look like pumpernickel,” before advising the Romney actor never fully seen to “go on out there and get all Mormon, Martin Luther King on them, you’re going to be great.”

According to a news release, The Message said it plans to use videos to “say things that Democrats are afraid to say, connect with young voters-many of whom are alienated by today’s political climate, and give smart and insightful voices an opportunity to contribute to the debate.”

Google pictures of these guys. I guess they are Hip, so that doesn’t make them white.

The latest The Washington Times/JZ Analytics survey, released Monday night, found about two-thirds of all likely voters would like to see their own police be able to check status during routine traffic stops. Support was high across most demographics, including self-identified Republicans and independents, and even Hispanics favored the policy by a 55 percent to 41 percent margin.

I’ve been there all my adult life—well after wrongly voting for Carter—, but I have not been involved at politiking at the grass root level. Up till just about a month ago it was just talk and writing.

The guy’s a Muslim. Muslims get a pass on all bigotry, didn’t you know? They can be as anti-homosexual, antisemitic, misogynistic as they want and the Democrats will suck it all up and clamor for more because it proves their “tolerance,” their belief in “diversity,” and their “recognition of a vibrant foreign culture.”
