Romney received a standing ovation at the NAACP

Mitt Romney was booed in today’s NAACP speech, when he discussed repealing Obamacare. That is just part of the story. At the end of his speech, Romney actually got an applause from the crowd.

Mitt Romney just completed his remarks to the annual NAACP convention in Houston.

The media will focus on the strong boos that greeted Romney’s pledge to repeal Obamacare, but the crowd was cordially welcoming and applauded quite a few lines. The audience gave him a standing ovation at its completion.

Does this mean anything, probably not. They probably just applauded because he mentioned who his dad was.

Mitt gets props from me for NOT pandering to the audience. He told them flat out Obama’s policies had not been good for African Americans and the fact that he got just a smattering of boo’s over repealing Obamacare makes me wonder if maybe they actually GET it.

Romney spoke to an audience that no one can doubt would have been hostile to most of his ideas. Obama won’t even address a crowd that hasn’t been hand-picked and screened to insure maximum applause, laughter and swooning.

Oh, and maybe their big hero Obama can explain why he’s not addressing them and sending that gaff machine he calls a Vice President instead. I look to see at least ONE stupid remark by that senile twerp that will be white-washed by the media. And if for any reason Biden gets a smattering of boo’s -- they won’t be mentioned.

Of course, is booing Romney racist? Of course not. But the smattering of boos that Mooch got at the NASCAR race last year (not invited by the fans, by the way) -- oh that was typical redneck NASCAR fan racist behavior.

Romney’s performing extraordinarily well, he spoke his peace and took the slings and arrows with grace. Members of the NAALCP claimed he knew they would boo his ObamaCare remarks and they were used to fire up the base. Whatever. It was a good day for Romney and the NAALCP didn’t show their collective ass as much as I thought they would, win win.

In my humble opinion they did that because they think the RNC has put up another McCain “Rlite” they can beat like a drum.

Sort of a thank you in advance.

If Romney gets elected it will be Conservatives turning in out in huge numbers to keep Obama from re-election.

From what little of the video I watched, I was actually surprised he handled it pretty well. There is no doubt, the NAACP is nothing but a tool of the left.

I guess the best we can hope for, is someone there gets the message there is a different way than what they have been force fed for so many decades now that they actually take a chance and vote outside of their norm.

So, when will we “People of Pallor” have a National Association dedicated to our advancement and aggrandizement?
