Is that the wife of the late Dick Wilson? I doubt it, but at least she’s doing her civic duty to protect the homeland, squeezing Charmin on behalf of those who can’t or won’t, and scanning the skies for subtle signs of the incoming
Overnight Open Thread.

Bunk, I love your scatological humor -- it’s one of my guilty pleasures!

BTW…I always suspected that those little old ladies in the Charmin ads really wanted to squeeze Mr. Whipple!

If you recall, the Charmin used in those commercials was always white. Mr. Whipple and his lady friends didn’t squeeze colored Charmin, therefore they were unquestionably racists, and possibly Nazis as well.

Now that the Tuareg have lost the support of Libya, Mali goes full al Qaeda.

  8. 8 | July 18, 2012 5:08 am

Well, sub-Saharan Africa is off my “will go” list anyway…

  9. 9 | July 18, 2012 5:45 am

    @ Guggi:
John McCain just had an op-ed piece published yesterday.
In it he lauds the Arab Spring and the success of his
    “heroes” in Libya.

Heh, I can imagine that after a few months in a place like Bolivia, Normal, IL would be paradise. I would make a “normal” joke, but it would be so cheap………… ;)

    Later y’all.

    @ RIX:
Which part did he like best, them torturing Kadaffy or them playing with his corpse after they executed him? Or is it the shari’ia law that he is enamored with? There is so much that is beautiful about the Arab Spring®!

  21. 21 | July 18, 2012 9:32 am

    @ Mike C.:
Well, you could always submit an OOT for one of the days when Bunk is too busy to do a thread.
