We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
Play nice!

Five ‘jealous’ wives rape Nigerian man to death
In an extraordinary case of jealousy, a Nigerian man -- husband of six -- was allegedly raped to death by his five spouses as he was paying too much attention to his sixth wife in east-central Benue state.
Uroko Onoja, a wealthy businessman, was having sex with his youngest wife when the other five women attacked him with knives and sticks, demanding that he have sex with all of them at once

At this point, I would sincerely welcome death -- but NOT through any means that involve perverse sexuality, thankyouverymuch.

All very smart women who tweet about the non violent side of life. Well maybe not mistressmatisse. she tweets about house construction.

Simple pleasures we all take for granted here will seem very special, some things you may not even have thought about, but will when you return. Whenever I’m out of the country, even it’s for a week or two, I suddenly see this country with new eyes and feel my appreciation even more deeply than before. I know you’re certainly no stranger to that feeling, you’ve felt it before, and I can well appreciate your anticipation. When I returned home (back in the 70s) after a 15 month WestPac I felt I was in Oz.

Being 59, I’ve been either aware of or watching Israel’s travails since the 60s and those travails can be summed up as follows:
1) Arabs make war on Israel.
2) Israel kicks Arab ass and seizes disputed land as a spoil of war.
3) Arabs whine and demand land for peace.
4) Israel negotiates in good faith and trades land for peace.
5) The promised peace never comes and the cycle starts anew at step 1
Methinks this is the textbook definition of a vicious cycle. There should be a price for making war on another country (and no, “not recognizing” Israel’s right to exist is not valid) and that price should be massive loss of life, land or a combination thereof. The price should not be temporary, it should be permanent.
@ MacDuff:
Next time Israel should just nuke the capitol city of every nation involved in hostilities. that would be a lesson the Mohammedans would never forget.

Apparently, France 24 has decided to go along with the US media in calling for new gun laws.
That’s annoying.
