Saturday At The Movies! Political Twilight Zone Edition.

We’ve talked about the inherent dishonesty of Baseline Budgeting before. Since we included a stimulus package, which represented an increase of 25% in our total spending during Obama’s first year, when that got added into the Baseline budget, it is no longer shown as growth in spending according to anyone interested in legally lying about the spending numbers to the American people. Long story short, Barack Obama can double our national debt in 3 years time and show off a graph like the one seen at the beginning of this video highlighting him to be a spendthrift.

More good news coming from the Obamacare front. Turns out we won’t get to keep our same doctors and or insurance plans under this new law. Why, you may ask. Chances are looking really good now that your doctor may be quitting and your insurance company may be going broke. Thanks Barack!

You’re going to love this one. Yet another should be committed leftist proves that the concept of irony is completely lost on anyone with a D after their name. He takes his, “free water,” from Chic-Fil-A, berates the nice young lady bending over backwards to accomodate the hateful man who is not even a paying customer, scolds her on how her company is hateful, and then upon noticing that she’s kinda cute, decides that he should try to pick her up. Speechless doesn’t even begin to cover this one. Obviously the people who he worked for didn’t agree with his genius protest either, as by late Thursday evening, they decided to part company with him. Apparently, they wish to have a positive image in the community in which they do business.

Exit question relating to the last video, more for the ladies out there, from the shy around women geek that I truly am: Does berating a cute girl and trying your best to dash any positive feelings she may have about the job she is doing and then hitting on her actually work?

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!

I’m a cashier. We are trained to treat customers politely, no matter who they are and no matter how badly they behave.

Kudos to the Chick-Fil-A cashier for all-around classy behavior.

    @ yenta-fada:

Proof that we’re living on Bizarro World:

Obama’s acting OMB Director Jeffrey Zients said in a statement that Sunstein’s departure comes with “regret and deep gratitude” for him.

“We are grateful to Cass for his years of public service and for his leadership and dedication in assisting the President in overseeing the nation’s regulatory program,” Zients said. “Among other things, his emphasis on transparency and on innovative, low-cost regulatory tools contributed to the Administration’s Open Government Initiative; to numerous efforts to promote clear, simple disclosure to inform consumers and investors; and to creative reforms to increase public participation in the regulatory process and to promote accountability to the American public.”

Wiki on Cass Sunstein. (He REALLY KNOWS what’s best for you) /

. Sunstein’s 2004 book, The Second Bill of Rights: FDR’s Unfinished Revolution and Why We Need It More than Ever, advocates the Second Bill of Rights proposed by Franklin D. Roosevelt. Among these rights are a right to an education, a right to a home, a right to health care, and a right to protection against monopolies; Sunstein argues that the Second Bill of Rights has had a large international impact and should be revived in the United States. His 2001 book, Republic.com, argued that the Internet may weaken democracy because it allows citizens to isolate themselves within groups that share their own views and experiences, and thus cut themselves off from any information that might challenge their beliefs, a phenomenon known as cyberbalkanization.
