Finally, some sanity from Hollywood: Clint Eastwood backs Gov. Romney, says country “needs a boost”

“I know what you’re thinking libturds: “Did he fire six shots, or only five?” Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I’ve kinda lost track myself. But being that this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself one question: “Do I feel lucky?” Well do ya, punks?”

Screw those sissy lib Obama-worshipping girly “men” actresses like George Looney, Brad Pitt, and Leonardo Di Caprio. The last American actor who is/was a “real man”, Clint Eastwood, has made Mitt Romney’s day by endorsing the GOP nominee for President…

Clint Eastwood endorsing Romney’s presidential bid

SUN VALLEY, Idaho (AP) — Clint Eastwood just made Mitt Romney’s day.

The Oscar-winning director and longtime movie star says he’s endorsing the Republican presidential candidate.

Eastwood tells The Associated Press that he’s backing Romney because, in Eastwood’s words, “I think the country needs a boost.”

Eastwood is among the Romney supporters attending a fundraiser for the Republican candidate Friday night in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Eastwood won Academy Awards for directing and producing “Unforgiven” and “Million Dollar Baby” and starred in those films as well as the Dirty Harry movies.

Believe it or not, Frank Sinatra, not Clint Eastwood, was the first choice to play Harry Callahan, and it was going to be filmed in New York.

    /FWIW… :)

Clint Eastwood turned his back on the GOP during the Bush Error. Now he’s coming back home.

Clint Eastwood is by far a Conservative…if not a centrist.
Althought that Detroit commerical may make him seem like he isn’t. It was a mistake and he probably thought he was doing the right thing.
In a article a year or two ago he was asked what he would do if Michael Moore showed up to his house…he roundly said he would shoot him.

    Good for Clint.

It would be nice if one could somehow get people to understand how much of his work is a love song to America. I’m thinking now of “Bronco Billy”—a little obvious, but very sweet in a ’70s sort of way—and “Gran Torino,” in which his sacrifice for the sake of the Hmong family next door, and his willing of his prize car to the kid who had originally tried to steal it, is truly a symbolic enactment of the spirit of “E Pluribus Unum.”

His “Dirty Harry” films, decried as violent and fascist at the time, stand as monuments—early monuments—against the stupidities of political correctness.

Eastwood is one vote…the problem is when people vote with him because he’s a famous star, in spite of their own ignorance…it works both ways but it’s not a good way to do business

I’d like to see him at the RNC shindig and say something like this.

It’s time to put Obama and the other Dirty Harry in the unemployment line.

Business? I don’t think Eastwood has to worry about that. He doesn’t care about the Hollywood numbnuts. With his money he can make a movie all by himself.

The msm always protect their own. What is strange is the info on where B. Hussein want to take us is out there and either his supporter don’t believe it all and go along because they will get some of what they want, that is only a small portion of the whole package, or they are entirely devoted to the destruction of America as we once knew it.

Islamist leader attacked at tolerance in islam conference

Yesterday, Abdelfatah Mourou, a prominent Tunisian Islamist figure, was hospitalized after he was attacked by an attendee of a conference entitled, Tolerance in Islam, which he was heading in Kairouan.

The assailant struck Mourou in the head with what appeared to be a water glass following a dispute. Mourou passed out and was taken to the hospital, where he was given five stitches in the forehead.

Mourou, who is one of the founding members of Tunisia’s eminent Islamist Ennahdha party, was chairing the conference with Ridha Belhaj, the head of the ultra-conservative Hizb-ut-Tahrir party, and Youssef Seddik, a well-known Tunisian philosopher.

Yeah and as you know some find racism in the most innocuous of statements.

I defended you here when many had other opinions. Do you remember that night when we were talking about R&B and you quoted Richards about the Stones and the ‘coon music’ influence? I e-mailed Foster and outlayed precisely what we were bantering about.

Racism is indeed bitter, and those who use it should be chastised. But we are not of that ilk. That very thing the Left are prone to use to their advantage. And the Coors thing is the kind of behavior the Left uses over and again to keep the populace ignorant of the reality they employ.
