We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
Play nice!

Right about now the MSM/Democrat Lawyer invasion of Janesville, Wisconsin is underway.
saturday lecture is suspended.
paul ryan has been chosen as mitt’s veep…big news
well played, mitt!
(golf clap from the CC republican)

CW, would you be good enough to repost the lecture next week? I found it quite interesting.
“The architect of the radical Ryan budget”
First Dem shot across the bow. Good luck. It’s a lie and Ryan is the most articulate debunker of that lie.
I’m beginning to feel moderately comfortable about this race.
Please G-d
ryan gets it. a real fiscon.
eaglesoars wrote:
it will be done in weekly segments now, that might have been a bit much for good comprehension. so I will detail out each section once a week.
Apparently Romney DOES want to win this thing!
this should satisfy the tea party that mitt is serious about fiscal issues.
@ coldwarrior:
Reporting in to CW since I was cut off on your lecture….
My GCS is 10 this morning
CW, when I was in your biz, trauma centers were not revenue generators but operated in the red.
Does that continue to be the norm?
@ John Difool:
Yep. I pity the fool that drew Ryan’s trash cans duty.
Predictably, CNN’s biggest take and biggest breaking news is that Romney committed a flub when introducing Ryan as VP.
WOW! Ryan was my “best case scenario” from the beginning and I feel absolutely giddy. Ryan’s a very impressive man and the Romney-Ryan team exudes competence.
Bravo, Mitt!
@ eaglesoars:
I heard about it on BBC radio.
They referred to Ryan’s plan as some sort of “scheme” to “slash government spending.”
You really don’t need a “scheme” to do that…
coldwarrior wrote:
Oh great! I look forward to it!
But has he paid his taxes?
@ Calo:
in the red, BIG TIME, still.
the lecture will be back up in segments instead of one big post. sorta weekly installments.
lobo91 wrote:
‘scheme’ doenst have the negative connotation in england like it does here.
it simply means ‘plan’ over there
So funny that democrats accuse Romney of not paying taxes and look at the multitude of democrat appointees that really did not pay thier taxes.
John Difool wrote:
And even more predictably, MSNBC is showing…..the Olympics.
seriously, who’s running the store over there? They knew this was coming for over 12 hrs. They can’t get their A-team out of their pjs?

It was an American journalist who said it.
I hope they can get rid of the mandatory
production of ethanol. that’s the real reason

@ eaglesoars:
MSNBC has an A team?
Shake that yellow cake!
Something just occurred to me -- and perhaps I’m overthinking this.
I’m thinking that this will generate significant enthusiasm on the right and with right-leaning independents and that will really push up turn-out.
On the other hand, it may so frighten the left, THEY turn out in force.
hmmmm…………..
lobo91 wrote:

Those weren’t normal earthquakes in Iran. Evidently the Iranians heard about the Ryan VP pick too and are stampeding to get out of the underground facilities.

Is that before or after Israel offers to send them help, like they always do after an earthquake?
mawskrat wrote:
You have no idea. 40% of the crop goes into ethanol.
Getting rid of the mandate is not easy. There is a significant industrial infrastructure that has been built to support the corn-to-ethanol process, including the oil refining business. You want that killed 3 mos before the election? AND lose Iowa? Not if you’re Obama you don’t.
Here’s something else you should keep on your radar. Wheat. Egypt. Russia. Egypt is bankrupt and imports half its food. Russia’s wheat crop is also way down and they may decide to seriously cut back its exports. That will send the international price skyrocketing. If you think Tahir Square was bad before, wait until Egypt can no longer afford to buy its wheat let alone subsidize bread for the poor.

The Renewable Fuel Standard, enacted in 2005 and then significantly expanded in 2007, requires that 13.2 billion gallons of corn starch-derived biofuel be produced in 2012. The intent was to reduce both greenhouse gas emissions blamed for climate change and dependence on foreign oil.
thank you govco
Saw a poll the other day that Romney was tied with Obama in Northern Virginia. Thats awful news for Obama since NOVA is pretty much comparable to central Moscow during the height of the Cold war.
Iloved McDonnell’s speech opening up in Norfolk, got me all charged up but George Allen is a reform candidate?

Searching for some commiseration for Joe Biden. … … … … … … … Nope. None to be found
Hmm. I just noticed that the Romney logo gives the appearance of a double “R”…convenient. I’m sitting here by myself this morning and during Ryan’s speech I really felt the urge to stand up and cheer -- what a perfect choice. Romney has something of a corporate manner of organization and I think Ryan’s going to be a corporate-style VP…an active participant rather than a ribbon-cutter and funeral-attender.
Debbie Waffen-SS Schultz is busy right now drawing chalk silhouettes, putting up crime scene tape and trying to put Paul Ryan at the scene of a murder.

And of course, there’s the obvious question of how they learned about those nefarious contributions: They did a search on the FEC website.
Too bad you can’t do that to find out how much money George Soros has spent trying to subvert democracy…

As they say, “the silly season is upon us”. Here’s one of MFM’s opening shots: “For one thing, Ryan has no significant private-sector experience,” Que the voice over… “I’m community organizer Barak Hussein Obama and I approve this message”…

We’re a nation of visuals; juxtapose a picture of “Romney/Ryan” with a picture of “Obama/Biden” in your head. Were I a Democrat, I’d be in a deep, deep funk this morning.
Ryan’s no less than the future of our movement, and our country, and Romney’s delivered him to us. Thanks, Mitt, you’re the man of the hour!
@ doriangrey:
Probably the best thing to come out of Egypt in the last 100 years other than artifacts is Eli Cohen. A Jewish Egyptian who became a high ranking Syrian intelligence officer on The Golan Heights while working for The Mossad.
He was executed on live television in a square in Damascus in the 1960′s.
Talk about one badass mf’er.
Biden’s debate inspiration:
@ John Difool:
That’s just SICK!
Macker, can you make a video splicing together a montage of scenes showing Paul Ryan schooling Obama about Obamacare and Joe Biden doing his drunken “The Villages” commercial and adding the voice over or text saying, “One Step away from the Oval Office, which one of these men do you want in that position?”
Gee Paul Ryan is soooo backward he doesn’t use a modern power Teleprompter
Paul Ryan is a real economic fiscal Conservative. he’s also 42, which oute him and I in the same generational range. Paul Ryan represent the future. plus, he fights back with facts.
@ lobo91:
I’m donating money. Paul Ryan speaks economic and fiscal truth. He will rip to shreds what the end game of the Obama’s Statist economic model.
He did a smooth “Git’r done!”
@ huckfunn:
Ryan demolished Obamacare in front Obama. That was classic. I can’t wait see Ryan ripping Obama on the stump.
