Here’s something else you should keep on your radar. Wheat. Egypt. Russia. Egypt is bankrupt and imports half its food. Russia’s wheat crop is also way down and they may decide to seriously cut back its exports. That will send the international price skyrocketing. If you think Tahir Square was bad before, wait until Egypt can no longer afford to buy its wheat let alone subsidize bread for the poor.

I’m sitting here by myself this morning and during Ryan’s speech I really felt the urge to stand up and cheer -- what a perfect choice. Romney has something of a corporate manner of organization and I think Ryan’s going to be a corporate-style VP…an active participant rather than a ribbon-cutter and funeral-attender.
