Sunday At The Movies! Paul Ryan-a-Palooza

We’ll just start it all off with the entirety of yesterday’s Vice Presidential kick ass of a kick off announcement. Some interesting commentary from the field of pundits yesterday. Hot Air’s Mary Katherine Ham, Charles Krauthammer, and Ann Coulter all made the same interesting observation. This pick helps Mitt Romney pivot his campaign from being a referendum on Obama’s horrible stewardship of our nation’s business to being about the difference between the ideologies of liberalism vs. conservatism. It has been since 1988 that the GOP has made those differences the central theme of a Presidential Campaign. Many of us on the right side of the ideological aisle have been saying for years that we needed to have this fight in America, and now it appears as though we are getting our wish. One way or the other, having this debate will be healthy for our country.

I found this one yesterday on Facebook. It was labeled, “Watch Paul Ryan Destroy Barack Obama In Six Minutes.” Moments after the Ryan pick, the liberal pundits were all over the political hackery shows gleefully describing Ryan as a heartless extremist throwing granny and small puppies off of cliffs and what not. The Bamster has taken lately to airing his sappy commercial exclaiming that America has stark differences between the two parties on which to base this year’s decision, and Paul Ryan certainly helps to cement those differences. Sarah Palin was a true conservative leader in the number two slot in 2008, but let’s at least be honest. She was on the second Democrat ticket running for the White House in that campaign. Mitt Romney has done his best to convince us all that he is in fact a real Republican in this campaign, and with this pick, he has stated that he will be promising, for better or worse, to be returning us to the vision of Ronald Reagan should he win the job of Chief Executive this fall.

Paul Ryan’s keynote address to CPAC given earlier this year. As you might expect, red meat for the conservatives to enjoy. I am feeling just a little more energized this morning than I was yesterday. I am looking forward to the fall election, and something more than just firing the Zero. I am looking forward to Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan governing this country with the guiding principles of limited government, economic freedom, American exceptionalism, and a strong national defense to protect American interests in a world so desperately in need of sane leadership.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!

Have the attacks on Paul Ryan’s family started yet?

    @ mfhorn:

The national media sent an army of snoops to Wasilla Alaska in order to dig up crap on Governor Palin. It took them about two weeks to start bashing her, and in the mean time, this little diddy,

    http://crosscut.com/2008/09/02/elections/17341/About-Sarah-Palin-email-from-Wasilla/

made its way around everyone’s email in box. This was the beginning of the veritable feeding frenzy in which Sarah Palin was called out as unqualified, while Joe Biden, pictured below, was given a pass.

You can rest assured that the national media has their army touring at this very moment in the home town of Paul Ryan. We should know all about his parking proclivities in short order, what he usually buys at the local grocery store, and whether of not he got lucky at his senior prom.
