You can join even if you’re not on Facebook. If you plan to be in or near Scarborough, Ontario on September 14, 2012, just bring your friends, both canine and human:

Friday, September 14, 2012, 4:30pm until 7:30pm in EDT

On September 14th, 2012, in response to the Muslim kicking of the dog at al Quds Day, everyone is asked to bring your dog and walk in front of the radical Salahuddin Mosque in Scarborough Ontario. Our CANADIAN VALUES Dog Walk will correspond with Islamic prayer times. We will be holding this event in conjunction with Canadian Hindu Advocacy.

It all started when a Muslim kicked Cupcake, the therapy dog:

muslim kicks dog, dog owner arrested – Menzoid

Allan Einstoss, owner of Cupcake the registered therapy dog, joins Michael Coren to discuss his treatment by the sharia-compliant Toronto police at the al-Cruds Day festivities at Queen’s Park in Toronto.

Dog-walking protest planned for Toronto mosque

TERRY DAVIDSON | QMI AGENCY
TORONTO – A Facebook event has been launched inviting people to walk their dogs outside an east-end mosque during Islamic prayer sessions.

The call to action was launched to protest a man being arrested while walking his English mastiff at an anti-Israel rally at Queen’s Park last Saturday.

The Facebook page encourages people to bring dogs “of all colours and breeds” to the Salahuddin mosque in the city’s east end on Sept. 14.

On Saturday, a Jewish man was arrested while his dog near a rally held outside Queens Park by an Islamic group marking Al-Quds Day, a yearly event calling for the destruction of Israel and the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Allan Einstoss, a Jew who opposes the Al-Quds doctrine, showed up at the rally with his big-yet-friendly English mastiff, Cupcake. After Einstoss was allegedly told by an Al-Quds demonstrator to keep the dog away, he claims to have been punched in the chest by another. When Einstoss pushed back, he was handcuffed and held by Toronto police.

Cupcake was also reportedly kicked by one of the Al-Quds demonstrators.

Some devout Muslims believe dogs to be unclean and vehemently avoid the animals.

As of midday on Wednesday, five people had signed up for the mosque dog-walk and 253 others had been invited to the event.

One of those who signed up for the event is Brampton resident Walter Sapienza, a 58-year-old owner of two Yorkshire Terriers.

“I thought it was pretty disgusting, the way (Einstoss) was arrested,” Sapienza said, adding if Al-Quds demonstrators have a right to call for the destruction of Israel, than others should have the right to walk a dog while they do it.

Great point! There are individuals who may have issues with dogs, but these bastards actually codified it into their so-called “religion”. it speaks volumes.

On the one hand, it does seem like he was trying to provoke something. On the other hand, I’m not sure that is all that bad a thing. Why should we in the first world cower from confronting a bunch of third world savages?

/Does that attitude make me a bad person?

Side note, shows a remarkable amount of training that the mastiff did not remove the leg of the person who kicked him.

    akin presser at 1715

Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.) will hold a press conference somewhere in St. Louis County at 5:15 Eastern Standard time.

He will announce he’s staying in the Missouri Senate race, multiple news outlets are reporting.

The lawmaker faced mounting calls to step down from his seat following statements he made that in the case of “legitimate rape,” pregnancy is rare because “the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.” Republicans nationwide disavowed the comments, and GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney joined a growing chorus of Republican leaders to ask him to resign from the nomination.

well, write off that senate seat pick up.

I don’t call his action ‘provocative’. I call it evidence of the many ways in which Islam is incompatible with free societies. I find the attitudes of the police far more provocative. Throughout Western civilization, the authorities favor the radical Muslims during demonstrations. They fear the “backlash” from the poor little victims of our intolerance.

Oh, I think it would be great, but the majority of Torontonians would DEFINITELY feel sorry for the holier-than-anybody Muslims engaged in what is their ‘Sabbath’. It’s all about optics. Remember, 99% of the sheeple think that Islam is just a religion. Now if you did the same kind of thing (figuratively) outside a Church or Synagogue…..no problemo. But Muslims are a protected species in Canada.

    Meanwhile, across our other border:

2 U.S. government employees hurt in Mexico shooting

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Two U.S. government employees were shot and wounded in an attack on their vehicle south of Mexico City on Friday, a law enforcement official said.

The two were riding in an armored U.S. Embassy vehicle when they came under fire on a highway leading to the city of Cuernavaca.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said both were hospitalized, one with a wound to the leg and the other hit in the stomach and hand.

The U.S. Embassy had no immediate comment.

A Mexican army official said the SUV with diplomatic plates was found riddled with bullet holes after a report about a shootout on the highway. The army official was not authorized to be quoted by name. He said a Mexican navy captain was also in the vehicle, but was not injured.

Attacks on diplomatic personnel are extremely rare in Mexico.

In 2011, one U.S. agent was killed and one wounded in a drug gang shooting in northern Mexico.

Maybe they were testing out some Fast & Furious guns…

The dogs will not be interrupting any prayers. Neither the dogs nor their humans will be stopping anybody from praying. They will not be entering the mosque, nor will they be threatening anybody. They will merely exercise their right to walk along public sidewalks and streets.

Rights that are not regularly exercised will soon be irrevocably LOST.
