POTTER TWP. — Convinced that a Nazi attack on Potter Township or anywhere in central Beaver County or the middle Atlantic states is unlikely, federal officials are removing a U.S. Air Force fuel center from the banks of lower Raccoon Creek.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
Play nice!

It destroys the mythos of Obama. It stresses his adherence to 3rd World Liberation.
@ Rodan:
Did you read the book or just saw the movie?
Btw -- I started listening to “Invisible Man” today -- only got about 30 min into it (just after the reefer trip). My first impression -- pretty strange book!
@ huckfunn:
That is great! Along with the caption from the post.

Pardon me for sounding a bit paranoid, but:
http://www.twincities.com/localnews/ci_21391226/st-paul-those-are-actually-special-ops-training
This sounds like those black helicopter stories that went around during the reign of Big Bubba.
So who’s the theoretical opponent? Certainly not the inhabitants of certain “ethnic” neighborhoods who could start a riot when The Big Zero is not reelected. That would be racist.
Isn’t it nice that everyone who enlists in the armed forces of the United States takes an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution?

I did that on DOD. Charles was crowing about Romney doing it. Well his beloved god-king is even worse.

I just finished The Last Stand by Nathaniel Philbirck. Not much new, but I’ve always been a sucker for a new Custer book. My Dad took us through Custer National Park in a 1958 Plymouth station wagon in about 1959. We drove from our home in PA to my Grandma’s house in Los Angles. At any rate, I’ve been interested in the Custer story ever since.

Just got a call from my brother. My niece, who was valedictorian of her high school class in May, is now safely ensconced in a dorm at UT where she will start the first day of her college career in mechanical engineering on Wednesday. Big day.

And it seems the majority of Clooney’s high-powered Hollywood counterparts are also passing on the 2012 convention – a far cry from 2008’s showdown in Denver, Colorado which attracted dozens of A-listers including Oprah Winfrey, Sarah Silverman, Fallout Boy, John Legend, Cyndi Lauper, Ashanti, Fran Drescher, Ashley Judd, Rage Against the Machine, Aisha Tyler, Anne Hathaway, Susan Sarandon, Jon Hamm, Cash Warren, Jessica Alba, Fergie, Will.i.am, Kanye West, Matthew Modine, Kerry Washington, Stevie Wonder, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Hudson, Shawn Johnson, Forest Whitaker, Star Jones, Wilmer Valderama, Daniel Dae Kim, Kelly Hu, Jamie Foxx, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Chevy Chase, Richard Dreyfuss, Melissa Etheridge and Pharrell Williams.
Just to name a few.
We reached out to reps for all of the above in an attempt to find out if these stars would be attending the DNC again this year. A majority did not respond, but of those who did, few will be making a return trip.

Rodan, can you let M know there is a new article in the email? This is probably one of the worst cases of aberrant thinking I’ve ever posted about.

i just got back from it. Excellent film. Like you say it really explains Obama’s Third World Marxist Anti-Colonialist ideology. It’s very well put together and quite riveting for an “intellectual” film…you get the feeling like you are right there with Dinesh as he tracks down the mystery of Obama’s identity all over the globe.
I had some weird flashbacks during the Punahou School sequences. Must have been the Maui Wowie.

No gun news, so how about a weather report? Blowing like stink here this morning, as a late Antarctic cold front moves through. It is still winter here, after all. Forget taking a reef in the main; it’s time for the storm sails.
Which reminds me that it’s only 25 days until International Talk Like A Pirate Day (Sept. 19.) So best be getting your piratical lingo in shape, mateys. Arrr!
And I see that Slow Joe’s Tampa trip has been cancelled. Rayra at GCP described Biden as “The crash test dummy for DNC/Administration attacks on Republicans -- no status to lose.” That’s just about the best description I’ve yet heard.
