NFL Week 3

by Carolina Girl ( 121 Comments › )

Will this be standard fan gear after this week??

Well, it’s Week 3 and frankly, this is not turning out at ALLLLL like I was hoping.   Saints are 0 and 2.  0 and 2??  Really.  Can’t Sean Payton sneak into Pat O’s and sneak some phone calls?  I mean, do you have to turn over your cell records to Goodell on Monday morning?  Dude, dress up like a cheerleader or something – send some signals to the Hardy Boys on the sidelines.  I mean are those guys even old enough to shave?

Anyhoo, here are today’s  and Monday’s matchups – good luck to your team.  I’m still hoping I’m coherent by half time.  The Oakland fans in my house are rooting for the Falcons against the Chargers, which means that they can get their own dinner.

Rams @ Bears
Bills @ Browns
Bucks @ Cowboys
Jaguars @ Colts
Jets @ Dolphins
49ers @ Vikikngs
Chiefs @ Saints
Lions @ Titans
Bengals @ Redskins
Eagles @ Cardinals
Falcons @ Chargers
Texans @ Broncos
Steelers @ Raiders
Patriots @ Ravens

Monday:  Packers @ Sea Hawks

Byes: Bears, Rams

NFL removes replacement official from Saints-Panthers game for being Saints fan. Wish media had similar policy for their WH reporters. #tcot

Regarding NFL and NCAA football. I just figured out a couple of months ago that most of those black players with the long stringy hair are essentially wearing wigs. That’s not their real hair. It’s a weave called “extensions”. How goofy for macho ball players to be wearing wigs.

    That is all.

Egypt says U.S. must respect Arab values to repair damaged relations

I think the reason we formed our country is because we didn’t respect European values. And later on we gave collective Islam the collective finger. I don’t see why anything should change about that. Muslims need to get educated.

In an interview to air tonight on CBS’s 60 Minutes, President Barack Obama will refer to Israel’s concern over Iran’s march toward a nuclear program as “noise.”

“When it comes to our national security decisions — any pressure that I feel is simply to do what’s right for the American people. And I am going to block out — any noise that’s out there,” Obama says,

Yet there are still people who will echo the lie that obama is a friend to Israel.

I will also point out that in the same way muslims twist concepts like guilt or tolerance, obama’s apparent concept of what is right for the American people is twisted to it’s polar opposite in effect. That is if you take at his word. Which would be a mistake.

    Well. it wasn’t quite a PC comment…

I asked if the ink to print Hasan’s paycheck was cheaper than a single bullet.

Remington subsonic .22 ammo is seven cents a round if you buy it in 500 round blocks.
I figure three to the base of the skull would do the job. That’s 21 cents. Gotta be cheaper than printing
    a check.

    Thwip, thwip, thwip.

Just saw Dredd (the new one, not the Stallone one). I’m a “2000 AD” comic fan, and the movie did justice to the source material.

Although I have to admit, the movie played it straight; usually the Judge Dredd comic aimed for social satire. In that respect Robocop and Robocop 2 might be more true to the comic.

We might be ready for a Dan Dare movie next . . .

Heh! I was wondering about that myself.

“Alright, guys, we got our orders, shave this turkey for court tomorrow. Here’s the cutthroat razor. You start, Private.” “Oh Shit, Sarge, he’s leaking!” “Never mind, Private, keep shaving. Can’t put a bandaid on him if he isn’t clean shaven, can we now?”

    @ rain of lead:
I think, for a jihadi, suicide is as off-limits as it is for a Catholic, barring those instances where the jihadi can take some infidels with him.

He can make more mischief by remaining alive and forcing the USA to try him. His suicide would simply let them close the books quietly.
