Have you looked into VPI pet insurance? I have it for my dog…It costs $29 a month for comprehensive coverage.

HELL YEAH.

I used to do IT consulting work. I still get flashbacks from the way I was treated in that field. And bad dreams. Fairly often.

The last about three and a half years my cat got infusions three times/week and a lot of injections. We fed her only with turkey breasts and fresh sea food and chicken breasts. She became very slim because of the frequent diarrhea but didn’t have pain. Then one day, I was in my workroom and she cried out very very loud and full of pain. I called the vet, made an appointment for the next morning and spent the night with here in the living room. It was as if she felt it was the end. A very heartbreaking situation.

I will never have a pet again, I lack time now.

Wow! We lost one last year to FeLV. We were very worried all of our cats would get it (we have five right now; we had five then, but we got a kitten and lost Sammy). We have one that is 13-14 and very sick. We don’t know how long we’ll have with him. He has IBD, and is emaciated, but he keeps on living. We love him very much. All of our cats right now are rescues. We got Midnight when he was about 8. The others we got as kittens. When we can afofrd it, we are going to get more kittens. I want 8 cats, but my wife says “We’ll see”

Most non-union workers in the US don’t have any sort of contract, especially in “right to work” states.

If you don’t have a contract here (nearly impossible) then it is worse for the employer because the government rules for people without a contract are even more in favor of the employee.
