    O.k., a popular weather guy on FaceBook just said the latest satellite imagery just showed Sandy making a hard turn to the left & then a jog to the SW as she’s approaching landfall. he said it’s possible she’ll dive south & go right through the D.C. area possibly doing a loop back out to sea, regaining strength & maybe doing another loop back in again.

    If that doesn’t get the tin-foil hats on the left spinning nothing will.

    Oliver Stone’s new book rips President Obama

    “Obama asserted presidential power in ways that must have made Dick Cheney jealous,” they wrote.

    “In 2011, Obama defied his own top lawyers, insisting that he did not need congressional approval under the War Powers Resolution to continue military activities in Libya,” they continued, in their write-up of Obama’s handling of intervention in that country.

    Wonder if they have any follow up words for Benghazi

    I like scouring youTube for science and tech vids. I came across this one that is about tall things man has built, starting with the Giza pyramids that held the record for thousands of years. At end of the video they get to the tallest structure in Dubai.

    Now to the humorous part which covers only a small portion of the vid, but is the most interesting for it’s comedy. Because the building is so tall, one can watch the sunset at ground level, then take an elevator to the top and watch the sun set again. This is not acceptable for Islam. Muslims 80 floors or above have to wait 3 minutes longer to break their fast than those at ground level during Ramadan.

    The European Left and Its Trouble With Jews

    (…)

    Today, a sizable section of the European left has been reluctant to take a clear stand when anti-Zionism spills over into anti-Semitism. Beginning in the 1990s, many on the European left began to view the growing Muslim minorities in their countries as a new proletariat and the Palestinian cause as a recruiting mechanism. The issue of Palestine was particularly seductive for the children of immigrants, marooned between identities.

    Capitalism was depicted as undermining a perfect Islamic society while cultural imperialism corrupted Islam. The tactic has a distinguished revolutionary pedigree. Indeed, the cry, “Long live Soviet power, long live the Shariah,” was heard in Central Asia during the 1920s after Lenin tried to cultivate Muslim nationalists in the Soviet East once his attempt to spread revolution to Europe had failed. But the question remains: why do today’s European socialists identify with Islamists whose worldview is light-years removed from their own?

    In recent years, there has been an increased blurring of the distinction between Jew, Zionist and Israeli. Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the militant group Hezbollah, famously commented: “If we searched the entire world for a person more cowardly, despicable, weak and feeble in psyche, mind, ideology and religion, we would not find anyone like the Jew. Notice I do not say the Israeli.”

    (…)

    Romney’s attorney was happy to let the transcripts of the divorce trial go to the Boston Globe if they would give up on lifting the gag order on the angry wife.

    The Boston Globe let the lifting-the-gag-order part go and the judge said that the angry wife would have to make her own motion about having the gag order lifted.

    The angry wife has been suing her ex-husband about the same divorce for 25 years since it was finalized and she loses all the lawsuits, as far as I can tell -- but she has an extremely big mouth filled with rage and hatred for her husband and his friends.

    She was the October Surprise that Allred tried to foist onto the country. I’ve seen some of this woman’s semi-literate rants about her marriage. She can peel paint with her nastiness, but I don’t think the gag order will be lifted.

    She’s been harassing her ex-husband for 25 years and I think she’s gone insane over it. Perfect client for Gloria Allred, though.

    Yeah, McCain also went off about it on a talk show too. I think he’s partially snapped out of whatever his issue has been and realized his “honorable” opponent from 08 may have not been so honorable after all.

    In the paper today one obama’s lies people are waking up to…
    In a question to the paper called “The Informer” someone got a wake-up call to obama’s lies.

    Obama had a deal right after he took office to give first time homebuyers a $7000 dollar tax break. I (not me personally here I’m typing someone elses question) did that and several years later I got a notice in the mail that said that was just a loan.
    I’m now paying it back at $500 dollars a year for 14 years, and it’s taken directly out of my taxes. Was it truly a tax break or a loan?

    (the answer below is what the paper gave)
    It was a loan, as several—but, admittedly not all—stories written on stimulas provision pointed out.
    “First time homebuyers are eligible for a maxium credit of $7,500.
    But there’s a catch: The credit is actually an interest free loan that must be paid back over 15 years.” If you take the full credit, you will have to pay back $500 dollars a year. If you sell the house before the 15 years is up, amount will be due. The later versions of the tax credit require repayment if the house is sold or ceases to be the taxpayers principal residence within three years of receiving the credit. In those cases, the credit must be repaid on tax returns filed the year the house was sold or ceased to be the main home.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Yep only obama can call a loan a tax break.
    @ eaglesoars:
    Breitbart.com has a story about inner city blacks fleeing from Obama and the Dems because they aren’t seeing jobs and things that would really help them.
    They prefer jobs.
    Yea if you read further his requirement is people must not be already skilled getting jobs they’re quite capable of doing and gaining their own expertise and work experience
    I thought this was accurate as can be commentary from althouse on the Benghazi debacle.
    You guys are missing the point. If the gun-running story is true, then it is highly likely that the Russians got wind of it before the Republicans did. I saw a story a few weeks ago from Russian press about supposed US supplied weapons being found by Russian commanders in Syria. That’s a key bit that is being missed here.
    So, Russia figures out that Benghazi is the source of arms supplying their man’s enemies in Syria. They mostly look the other way as long as they are small arms. Suddenly there are heavier weapons showing up. Putin calls Obama. “Stop that, now.” he says.
    Obama fouls his britches and calls up Patraeus. “You gotta stop sending weapons through Benghazi”. Stevens is sent to meet with the principals to communicate the change of direction. The jihadists get wind of it and plan an attack as payback.
    Stevens shows up. They attack and kill him, then storm the compound and loot all the weapons.
    Obama sees this happening and says “Shit! If I save them, the gun running is exposed. If I don’t save them, maybe I can still salvage something out of this.” Two days later Valerie Jarrett tells him “blame it on the video.”
    I like them all. I will watch them anytime they are on. The last one was pretty funny with the apple dude.
    As long as it doesn’t have any glaring technical errors like the second one did, where people were able to switch between firing blanks and firing live ammo by simply changing magazines.
    I don’t know, I’m kinda peachish colored tending toward yellow in the winter and really dark tan in the summer (if I get any sunlight.) I’ve only ever seen one white person in my life and they had pink eyes.
    A week or so ago, Kevin of hillbuzz.org (he lives in Chicago) said the exact same thing. Every now and then he has breakfast with black activists hooked into Chicago politics and they told him the exact same thing. Plus more. His marriage was arranged by Jeremiah Wright because he’s been on the downlow for years, Michelle’s mother thinks he’s a complete loser, etc.
    Actually the day after they were blaming the video. Didn’t Hillary tell one of the father’s who son died that they were going to arrest the person who made the video.
    I think there too many holes in that theory. Just my opinion. Doesn’t explain why they were asking for more security…doesn’t explain that other embassies were attacked that same day in other countries.
    Without the barrel stop it turns your weapon into a single shooter real quick.
    Yep, maybe Hillary was serious about ending her political career. Throwing herself on the sword for O can’t be helping her any.
    I’m white, well as it’s defined with skin color and ethnicity, but am slightly tanned where the skin is exposed.
    When Chair refers to ‘communities of color’, as you know, he’s referring to how many perceive ethnicity and it’s varying metaphorical tones. To me, this is as racist a statement I’ve ever heard from a prominent pol since Bird talked about white ni**ers.
    Isn’t that a kicker?? I mean this video had been out for months! Suddenly North Africa and all the middle east is offending because of a video no on saw. Yeah I’m not buying it. This smells like week old fish to be honest.
