We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.
Play nice!

No worries. Surprised me that it actually worked too. Thought the weight might be an issue but it powers through it like it’s M&M’s. Need to tighten the dispenser though, gives almost a full magazine worth for a quarter.

Somebody get CC a TV quick!
He needs to be deprogrammed ASAP.
Good country song.

Deep Purple. I didn’t know you had that in you. Musically speaking of course.
The booth is a lonely place where broadcasters are never really known, sort of. I claim total Title 14 forever.

Somebody reminded me that this is a political blog and I should occasionally comment about politics here. (Hi Lily)
Watching some indices at work closely over the last month, I am optimistic about next Tuesday’s results for a R/R win.

@ rain of lead:
Reminds me of a little cake my grandmother taught me to make with a coveted secret ingredient similar to cat nip.
I fed it to Bob one night and called it “Ancient Chinese Nachos”.
We spent the rest of the night driving around in the parking lot in circles searching for a curb.
Great re-make of a 1967 song by the Tremeloes…
Well, I’m going to bed. Please put the records back in their proper jackets, empty the ash trays and put the cat out. I’m getting tired of picking up after you animals.
G’nite.
@ huckfunn:
that worked
nice tune
@ huckfunn:
Sorry, the cat sleeps with me.
I did clean the kitchen though like a good, proper woman always does before going to sleep.
Nite Huck.

I was glad to hear momcat is feeling better these days.
And, it’s a delight to see you reminisce about your early days together.
May you two be happy for many more years.

I gotta get too, work tomorrow will be calling soon.
If I hear this song one more time in the morning I’ll run amok

Mine went away -- I can see the vids now. Don’t know why I couldn’t for weeks, don’t know why I can now.
@ Mike C.:
For me it lasted only some few days then it was over and I don’t know why either.
@ Guggi:
Nobody understands this stuff -- not really.
BTW, if that gumball machine hits the sidewalk, I’m going to go get a mint bag full of quarters and empty it out. 25 cents for a handfull of 9 mm is a superb deal. Hell, 25 cents for one factory round is pretty good, even for the rather crappy commie block ammo. I’ll set up a base camp in front of the machine if somebody is foolish enough to keep refilling it.
@ Mike C.:
Okay, I was a bit off there. Cheapest deal on LucjyGunner is Tula 115 gr FMJ in 1000 round lots at 19.5 cents/round. Berdan primed, steel cased (non-reloadable.) Never buy it myself, but if I got even 2 rounds for a quarter, I would change my mind.
Er, make that “LuckyGunner”…
We have the enthusiasm this election. I keep sayingthat. Well, here’s some proof:
A crowd of 30,000. In Ohio. That’s huge.
@ Iron Fist:
I like this from your link:
@ Iron Fist:
Pish-tosh. “Overlooked” ballot boxes are being stuffed and put in car trunks even as we speak.
I just posted my farewell to LGF.

@ Mike C.:
I just never bothered leaving. I think I’d stopped in there twice in the past year, and might have posted twice in the last 4 years. Decided it was time to clean the sewer water off myself completely, instead of just getting out of it.
What, Chris Cristie playing at Carter now? Seventies gas rationing

@ waldensianspirit:
Rationing schemes were at the state level; Carter had nothing to do with them. VA had an odd-even system.
Ya know, the people out there who lament “politicians” should consider that Romney has spent a pretty small portion of his life in politics; he did four years as Governer but aside from that he’s a public sector guy. Obama, as well as Clinton and Carter before him are the careerist politicians who have no identity outside the political realm.
@ MacDuff:
Um…don’t you mean a private sector guy?
Macker wrote:
