I showed her but I told her that I was born overseas (Germany) so I was prepared to show my naturalization certificate (Jun 1971). That lady was amazed, she never saw a naturalization certificate! It looks like a diploma of sorts with my photo.
My brothers had the same experience. NEVER asked for proof of birth.
No where on the drivers license does it show country of birth. I wonder how many aliens (illegal OR legal) slip by and get registered?

It was a combination of things. She didn’t go to the doctor for a long time, and when she did, the first one misdiagnosed her. Then she went to one that got it right, but she initially didn’t want to go through the whole transplant thing. She eventually changed her mind, but it was probably too late.
My understanding is that it was a fairly uncommon condition, so it’s probably not the first doctor’s fault, although he should have sent her to a specialist sooner, probably.

Perhaps. My mom was diagnosed last month and she’s 70+. Trouble is that it masks itself as something else and that’s what usually gets diagnosed. She has primary as well.
