It is really early.
Are projections based solely on exit polling?
Maybe I’m a little confused.. Fox has Romney ahead by 12% in WI but call it for Obama?
Then they say VA is to close to call with 60% reporting

I hope so, the numbers that I see and what they are saying doesn’t add up.

Just like they called about 10 states the moment the polls closed, with no results at all. Everyone knows Romney wins Texas, and Obama wins DC.

I’m trying not to get too bummed this early but it seems that there are too many voters who just don’t know what the hell is going on.
When I told my own mother to be sure and vote and vote for Romney she sounded hesitant and said something like “well, I don’t think Obama has done the things he promised but I don’t know anything about Romney and he comes across as phony” Suffice to say I got on my soapbox and tried to convince her to vote for Romney. I don’t think she was going to vote Obama and figured she would prefer to just stay home.
I sent my sister an email imploring her and her husband to vote Romney and she responded that the last time she went to vote they denied her because she had moved 8 years ago (8 years!) and never bothered to update her voting status. She meant to get around to it but never did. And she and my mother live in Missouri. Thanks a lot sis!

Things aren’t as bad as people think. We basically are in the same state as the last 4 years. Deadlock. The only avenue O has is EO’s. Not much we can do about those. It sucks we didn’t get the Senate though. Starting impeachment in January would have been nice.

I’m sorry you don’t have an income Lobo. I wasn’t aware of that. I’ve been preoccupied as of late and only sporadically visit Blogmocracy it seems. But yes, it’s tiresome. I’ve been freelancing in-house at this place and nearly every other day I have to listen to the assholes around talk about about if you don’t like Obama you must be racist. They can’t draw any other conclusion than that. It’s so tiresome.
And the funny part is, they’re not really assholes. They are actually pretty nice guys and incredibly witty. It’s just that their politics are so opposite of mine that pretty much I end up with my earbuds on listening to music or streaming radio all day so I don’t explode and jeopardize my chance of getting an actual position there, instead of being a contract worker.

@ Rodan:
America doesn’t want Marxism, Rodan. The election of 2010 proved that. We have a media that doesn’t report accurately on anything involving this President. He was able to lie and get away with it.
A week before the election, we see him finally handle a crisis the way it was supposed to be handled -- no mention of the dozen crises he manhandled. Oh, and a cool photo op with that fat fuck Christie. Nice going gov -- kiss your national aspirations good bye.
And frankly, Akin and Murdock -- thanks for fucking up any chance you had of winning Senate seats by opening your mouths and making stupid statements and taking on the Sharon Angle role in this election.

This shows the power of the media. They blacked out Benghazi and the botched response.
