Bad news. Election return in Va. are showing Kaine coming up fast on Allen’s lead. )nly 6% back now from 15% back.

NOVA polling returns must be coming in now.

The good news is, Barry is still a solid 10% back so Dems & Indy’s must be swinging towards Romney even though they’re not voting GOP down-ticket

In Kuwait, we all used our company-issued cell phones to talk to each other. Hardly anyone ever used the landlines for anything.

It was always strange to get a call from across the room when someone didn’t realize that I was there and not out someplace.

  25. 25 | November 6, 2012 8:43 pm

    **From the last thread***

Obama is hanging out at McCormick Place, from what I understand this location is isolated from the rest of the city. It has a body of water on one side and two highways that basically cut it off from the rest of the city. This is where they had a G8 summit…away from everything.
This isn’t the kind of place you would hold a victory rally.. People would have to drive, take a taxi or walk across a freeway to get there as there is no mass transit in and out of this area.

    Just say’n

DC was never supposed to be the way it is in the first place. It was intended to be the seat of the federal government, which was really ony there a few months out of the year. That’s why it wasn’t given any representation in Congress (and thus no electoral votes until the 23rd Amendment). The founders intended it to be sort of like the way we see military installations today, not anyone’s actual home.

Exactly. My “blogging” time is limited, especially on work days — I’m not going to waste it with those two. And the Outsider is a liar of the first magnitude. When called on his behavior he immediately says “you did XXX first!” When I told him to knock off the profanity if he addressed me, he said “you were vulgar to me first” which was a complete falsehood.

I don’t do weed. Alcohol is another matter.

Regardless of how it all turns out, my husband and I are continuing with our plans to emigrate.

    Permanently.

The fact that this is a close race tells us all we need to know.

We expect to apply for foreign citizenship in any free country that will have us, assuming that we live so long. Possibly Chile, possibly the Russian Federation. Who knows…

Unfortunately, our plans will have to wait a bit, given that my husband is seriously ill. The latest from the doctor is that his sudden high BP is caused by Cushing’s Syndrome. He’s going through some tests to find out if this is the case. If so, he has to have surgery to remove a tumor on his pituitary.

Nothing is making sense right now. The numbers are all over the place on all the sites. No one is agreeing with anyone. Places are being called for one candidate when another is in the lead. Percentages aren’t matching even close with the numbers. Places are being called when they are under 20% reporting. As far as I can tell most states are too close to call right now.

The sheeple and the lemmings are in for a shock when there are no new jobs because Obamacare is safe so businesses will sit on their money. Oh and many will drop health insurance.

If Obama wins, The GOP really needs to rethink how to win the Presidency. This will mean that since 92 the GOP is 2-4 for President.

Florida isn’t looking good for Romney. 84% of the vote in and O is leading by about 15000

I guess I have nothing to lose, since I have neither one now, anyway.

I think we’re looking at apathy. When so many mindless morons view themselves as undecided they we have a problem.

People have just gotten used to voting the same idiot in over and over. I see it at the state level and knew eventually it would go national.

Conservatives lose seats in the Senate, so no matter what happens now there will be no changes made on the real issues faces this nation. I WEEP TONIGHT FOR THE NATION I SPENT 28+ YEARS DEFENDING!

Lindsay Graham (RINO, SC) yesterday: “We aren’t losing elections because we aren’t being hard ass enough” Translation: We need to run more RINOs!
