Florida polls close at 7pm local time, but Florida is in two time zones.

They probably won’t report anything for Florida until 8pm eastern, when the polls in the western part of the state close.

Someone needs to get a news van with a satellite feed to Culver City, stat.

I have a feeling an epic disaster of biblical proportions is getting ready to unfold there tonight involving large quantities of stale Cheetos, the drinking from the wrong bottle of Mt. Dew & a large Corellator tool.

I’ve been sticking with stuff I know she likes. I’ve never given her sweet potatoes (mainly because I don’t like them, so I’ve never thought to give her any).

She ate all the chicken and rice, though.

I don’t understand it, it’s as if when the GOP think they don’t have a snowballs chance in a district that would vote for a ham sandwich if it had a (D) in front of it they don’t bother. They’ve been flush with cash for a while now.

In mine, Dean Longo is running against 20 year incumbent Bobby Scott & I haven’t seen where he’s gotten one iota of GOP support.

The Dems never do this, like rust, they never sleep.

I guess I’m old fashioned. I don’t believe one should concede to the enemy until the final moment. Especially with a president as decisive as this one, a Republican running for house in some of those areas could have really made pulled enough votes to have made a point.

Plus, by not having anyone opposing these clowns all we do is contribute to their sense of entitlement.

At least here the primaries are usually contested. Doug Lamborn had about 5 opponents again this time.

But this area is about 70% Republican, so whoever wins the primary is going to win.

I’m a cigar smoker, but due to the fact I’m broke and can’t afford one, and my nephews are running around the living room, I hit the e cig tonight. A nice blend of tobacco oil with a nice splash of cherry extract.

I really need the nicotine tonight. I think I’ll add just a touch of clove to really spice it up.

Obama is hanging out at McCormick Place, from what I understand this location is isolated from the rest of the city. It has a body of water on one side and two highways that basically cut it off from the rest of the city. This is where they had a G8 summit…away from everything.
This isn’t the kind of place you would hold a victory rally.. People would have to drive, take a taxi or walk across a freeway to get there as there is no mass transit in and out of this area.

And when they start cutting reimbursements, they won’t get anything but a shiny Obamacare card that nobody will take.

Just like my medical care from the VA.

This would be real Electoral College reform. I think it would be the fairest and would be real representative government. It would also stop the large states with lots of electoral votes from having so much influence on the election.
The argument against it would be that the electoral vote totals would probably end up much closer, more in line with the popular vote, which would take away the illusion of a “mandate” for the winner.

I think it would most represent the total population’s wishes.

Juan also believes people are getting “free” health screenings because of Obamacare. They really aren’t free, there is no co-pay but they are paid for with higher health insurance premiums.

Yeah, what’s with our VA cards. The VA never asks for them and no one else takes them.

No argument at all. It’s just that I know NOVA so I can speak to that.
And trust me — sometimes I feel like I’ve infiltrated enemy territory.

Yea I know them too. Too bad we can’t redraw the border at the Rappahannock instead of the Potemkintomac.

I’m a secessionist. I’d go for the Mason-Dixon Line, plus Alaska if they want to make common cause with us.

Suffice to say he probably couldn’t get a security clearance without being POTUS.
