I am glad to see most around here in good spirits. We came close to unseating the fake god-king, but fell short. Instead of being angry at the results, we need to analyze and plan. In the coming months, I hope the readers and writers discuss their ideas. We lost but good can come from defeat.

Now here’s the evening’s entertainment!

The now  7 star general Seti discuses building curriculum.

Politicians and Parties don’t WIN electoral contests, the Lose them. The RNC lost this election for a number of reasons. They include:-
    • Romney actually believed that this election was a watershed and that as such was a ‘Base Election. That in simple terms is an election that aims to GET OUT THE VOTE. Mitt Didn’t ! He didn’t connect with the Republican base. And he certainly didn’t reach the Blue Dog Democrats who were suffering under Obama. They were ‘homeless’ but Mitt slammed the door on them. That’s stupid Mitt, Real stupid.
    • Ryan wasn’t qualified to be a Vice President (then again neither was Biden). Ryan had no executive experience. NONE! Bad call by Mitt. On top of that the Ryan plan was fodder for the DNC attack ads. Why give them such a juicy target. Were the so called smart set at the DNC drunk (if not on liquor then certainly on hubris). Stupid arrogance will get you every time!
    • What happened to back to basics. Small government and low taxes? That got lost in all of the BS and hubris that was floating about. And talking about hubris and believing one’s own propaganda, where did Romney find those arrogant cretins who staffed his campaign? The local job exchange. Does the RNC have a farm where they feed staffers on Group Think and BS? Apparently so!
    • Where oh where were the raw red meat campaigners and policy analysts? More to the point… WHERE WERE THE LEADERS? The RNC has masses of Managers but precious few LEADERS prepared for the hard calls. Managers want to stay in their positions first and make calls that reflect that. LEADERS want to WIN and are prepared to go out and risk defeat to get a win. As the SAS motto says. “ WHO DARES WINS” The RNC has a lack of intestinal fortitude and playing it ‘Safe’ has failed yet again How many more times will it take to convince these political cowards?
    • Where was Rubio and where was the linking with Hispanics. Country Club RNC / RINO faction is alive and well and destined to be out of power until these folks are dispatched back to their country clubs. Christie and his self serving attempts to get rte-elected by supporting Obama… twice. Once in Tampa and once after Sandy. The guy is a trator and we must never forget it.

    But that’s just me!

Sorry, can’t say as I am any fan of his.

He’s just another black person who also happens to be stupid, crazy, and evil-hearted. We just elected one. Millions more voted for that one. I don’t need to be reminded that these people consider themselves superior to me and regard me simply as contemptible prey. If I never encounter one more of these of my fellow “citizens” again it’ll be too soon. I just can’t get away from them fast enough.

Oh yes, I see them all the time at work, and I dread the thought of seeing them again tomorrow and waiting on them hand and foot with a smile. I genuinely hope I die in my sleep tonight.

    c’est la vie.

the crew at the CC have decided to go gault. no expansion of business, nothing for the next 4 years.

since obamacare wont be repealed we will need advance practice nurses to cover the shrinking md pool and expanded patient lists. i am on my way and will make out quite well.

Can’t agree Lily. The RNC actually believed its own hubris. Arrogance is strong with them… as it is with the DNC as well.

I go by the old maxim. “Know your enemy and know your self and you will win a hundred battles”

Knowing one self means not believing one’s own BS and knowing one’s own limits. Then acting bravely and without fear.

The timidity shows. It’s always self defeating. The folks can smell the fear and wonder at it and assume that something is being hidden from them. The RNC has to learn to get over this weakness and elect real LEADERS and not more play it safe managers.

Well I will nicely disagree with what you have said. Sorry obama is a force like I have never seen…no matter what he does wrong and treasonous people don’t believe it. So there was no clear-cut way to defeat him…When Big Bird is more of an issue for some people than the National Debt you cannot reason with that kind of stupid.
So kindly go ahead and bash him ….but the fault is with the Americans who blindly voted for obama again…because they feel the U.S. is still racist, because they feel like obama cares about them, because they believe Romney was evil, because they believed there was a war on women, a racial war, that Romney would bring back slavery, because they believed the rich are evil ….I could go on. Those people you would never reach..ever. They have drunk from the cup of obama is god-like. And nothing anyone could say or do would ever make a difference in their thinking.

Yep, they voted for more misery & malaise so I say we embrace it & give it to ‘em in spades.

Most conservatives will be able to foot Obamacare, that is if it’s even implemented in their states, however most libs are gonna have to make a choice between cable tv, internet, & expensive cell phone data plans & the like to foot the 3500-4500 dollar a year insurance coverage or face stiff fine & go to jail.

It’s ironic the left may have elected the very same people who are going to put them in the camps, the camps being prison.

So sorry to hear this happen CW..glad she is stable and many prayers up for a quick and fast recovery.

i am happy this happened and here is why:

on both sides of her family there is massive heart disease.

if one is GOING to have an MI, then have it at a world famous level 1 hospital where pioneers in invasive and inerventionalist cardiology are on hand to do the work. having the chief of cardiology do the stenting is a nice touch as well.

if one is going to have an MI by genetics have it young, 42 yo heart can deal with anything an heal faster than an abused 70 yo heart.

now a baseline has been established, she will be followed by some of the best cardiologists in the world (we work with them every day so its a personal thing with them).

this was an impending MI due to dna. it is over now and will now never happen again.

I can’t afford coverage. But, I’m covered under the VA. Here’s the question though. Since my va is only open office hours and I get injured or sick outside of office hours, do I go to jail for lack of coverage?

I’ve read the bill and it doesn’t have any kind of explanation for veterans situations.

Then it suddenly started spiking a lot, along with some other symptoms such as red vessels in his eyes, agitation, worsened insomnia, and so on. He’s always been a worry wart but never this bad, and having another big reason to worry doesn’t help any. But nobody gets BP that high all of a sudden unless something is causing it.

It’ll be interesting to see what the lamestream media does now that their King got elected to a second term. They have nothing to lose now going after him in an attempt to sell papers, magazines or drive content to websites, it’s not like he’s going anywhere for the next four years & they may try to get some false credibility back they’ve pissed away the last several years.

That’s exactly what we should watch out for. For all the credit you give the dems, they never change the script. We need to get ahead of it.

First off, we need to destroy Patrick politically. Take that tool out of their box. And keep doing it to every possible wonder boy they start considering. Give every one of them the close up examination the press won’t do. Then get it out online, on radio, on fox. Hit the editorials in the papers. Stick flyers under windshield wipers, pin them to bulletin boards. Whatever it takes to get the word out.

As far as history has shown me, there isn’t a single dem out there without skeletons in their closet. Expose them.

The dems want to play the politics of personal destruction, then bring it. Give as good as we always get.

The best part is we don’t have to lie or compromise ourselves like they do. Just find every possible outlet to get the truth out.

just checking for a very specific type of stroke.
    carry on.

If you can think of anything (or if you hear of anything) that causes sudden onset of extremely high, spiking blood pressure (not steady high blood pressure) in a male of nearly 60 years of age with a clean EKG and no renin issues, please let me know. Maybe you can talk to some cardio or endocrinology people at work. The doc is having to do some detective work. He’s a smart guy, but as they say, two or more heads are better than one.

    Absolutely no pattern whatsoever.

Well, given that he takes the BP himself, he doesn’t have readings when he’s asleep.

One time he took several readings a few minutes apart.

124/103 pulse 70 (strange, the systolic & diastolic were pretty close)
160/126 pulse 66 (he gets a reading in this range some of the time)
192/148 pulse 35 (the pulse looks wrong, maybe reading was bad?)

He uses an electric BP cuff. But the doc has a BP machine that takes an averaged reading over several minutes, and the readings there are in line with what he gets at home -- all over the map.

    We’re puzzled.

The early women’s rights movement felt this way about the early Civil Rights movement:

The Seneca Falls Convention of 1848 formulated the demand for women’s suffrage; after the Civil War agitation for the cause resumed. In 1869 the proposed Fifteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which gave the vote to black men, split the movement.

Campaigners such as Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton refused to endorse the amendment, as it did not give the vote to women. Others, such as Lucy Stone and Julia Ward Howe however argued that if black men were enfranchised, it would help women achieve their goal.

The conflict caused two organizations to emerge, the National Woman Suffrage Association, which campaigned for women’s suffrage at a federal level as well as for married women to be given property rights, and the American Woman Suffrage Association, which aimed to secure women’s suffrage through state legislation.

The two movements merged but it took roughly 30 years to do it. Then it took another 20 years for women to get the vote.

How ironic that the “progressives” have moved on to yet another more favorite minority.

I know I’m going to take a lot of crap for this, but I wonder if we shouldn’t be reaching out to the gays. I know several really strong republican gays around the country. The only real point of contention between most conservatives and them is the gay marriage issue. My one friend who was a big shot at the Smithsonian is absolutely inconsolable about O’s win, but is happy about the gay marriage resolutions.

Is there any way for our two sides to meet?

Even I have issues with gay marriage. But I’ve come to the point that I’m good with the idea of Civil Unions if they give all the legal and medical rights of marriage.

So I don’t know what to think anymore. I’m an old fashioned conservative, but even I’m wondering where the fight should go. Especially when dealing with other people who want to save the country.

If you read Ulsterman it looks pretty certain there was massive INSTANT cheating.

The numbers of people walking into the polling locations was far far less than the numbers of people who voted in said locations. This apparently was happening only in very democrat locations in mixed districts. Areas that were heavily red were left alone.

The women’s suffrage movement isn’t the problem & lets not forget it was Republicans who gave the right to vote to women originally.

The problem is leftist academia & social engineering have convinced women that being in a marriage with a man & having children is basically tantamount to being put in chains.

You can apply the effects of years leftist academia & social engineering across the board to over half the electorate of this country not just women.

I am the of the belief that if you do not own private property, pay taxes or are gainfully employed you shouldn’t get the right to vote if you have no skin in the game, but equally applied no matter what color or gender one is or ethnic group one belongs too.

Looks like the Obama administration’s tying up loose ends, now that the election’s over:

California man behind anti-Muslim film sentenced to prison

The California man behind an anti-Muslim film that roiled the Middle East was sentenced Wednesday to a year in prison for violating his probation stemming from a 2010 bank fraud conviction by lying about his identity.

U.S. District Court Judge Christina Snyder immediately sentenced Mark Basseley Youssef after he admitted to four of the eight alleged violations, including obtaining a fraudulent California driver’s license. Prosecutors agreed to drop the other four allegations under an agreement with Youssef’s attorneys, which also included more probation.

None of the violations had to do with the content of “Innocence of Muslims,” a film that depicts Mohammad as a religious fraud, pedophile and womanizer.

Officials say the ballots were delivered late due to problems within the military mail system. Tracking invoices show the ballots sat in a warehouse for a month, then they were accidentally labeled as ammunition and shipped to Afghanistan. At Camp Dwyer, Marine Sergeant John Davis signed for them and was surprised at the contents.

That’s why I’ve been pushing for us to find ways to get our info out, our brand if you will. If we can open up all the possible avenues of communication and even the field then no way in hell do we have to sacrifice our standards and turn into the dems.

Use the truth the way they use the lies. Get it out to the people. Let the people see it all unfiltered.

That would be far more interesting to me than becoming dem lite.

But, in doing so we may have to get dirtier than some want. If the opponent has skeletons they have to come out. If there’s things that he doesn’t want anyone knowing then he shouldn’t be running. No more kid gloves.

There’s a story about the “Best Sick Call Ranger” competition.

i bet that was a hell of a competition!

    @ Mars:

I know they’re counted here. That’s why they have to be in prior to the time the polls close on election day.

They’re counted as they come in.

I guess in that instance, there’s not much you can say. At least he actually wanted to vote.
I get really irritated by stories of people loading up vans full of people out of group homes, or Alzheimer’s patients, and taking them to the polls, or getting them absentee ballots and filling them our for them.
That’s just down right wrong. I’d like to know what force of craziness would motivate people to do that shit. Really, what’s so important that someone would stoop so low to do that? It’s not like they’ve been promised a cabinet position or anything.

Blind religious dedication to the dem party. Anything is worth it to them. If they lose their job so be it, in the dem utopia they will be taken care of. Besides most believe that the dems are better for the disabled so it is for their own good after all.

(Never mind its the libs that want to take the disabled out of their schools and homes and go back to the bad old days of the sanitarium system. Or that the libs want to let the disabled and elderly die to save on health care, and on and on)

Come on. You were trashing every strong candidate for months, just like Speranza was. TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP!

and i blasted romey for a good month or so.

then i sent him $500 and carried water for him after he became the nominee and convinced 3 dems to vote for him and change their party affiliation.

i held my nose this time. and this time IS the last time.

I agree completely. When someone calls you an asshole, responding with the same resolves nothing. And when you’re fighting a group of assholes and some on your own team start calling you an asshole, it doesn’t look good for the home team.

They’re counted as they come in.

When I was in Germany the one time I paid attention we didn’t receive ballots until one or two days before the election.
