Chris Christie plays Guido tough guy act against the media

by Rodan ( 300 Comments › )
Filed under Elections 2012, Progressives, Republican Party at November 10th, 2012 - 7:00 pm

The Corpulent Traitor is back to his tough guy act. After reports that he called to congratulate Obama but just email Romney, Chris Christie gets deranged. He attacks the media for inaccuracy and claims Obama called him. You read that correct, Obama called Christie after he was re-elected! I could believe this since he owes Christie for saving his political career with the photo-op. Conjuring up his wannabe Jersey Shore Guido act, Christie gets angry at the media!

Christie then referenced an article that was posted by a business news institution earlier in the week claiming the governor called the President to congratulate him and only emailed Romney.

“Bloomberg had some incredibly careless reporting yesterday, saying that I called the president yesterday to congratulate him on his victory — absolutely careless, awful reporting,” said Christie. “Listen guys, people take the stuff you write seriously and I try to speak with real precision behind this microphone. So don’t report that I called the president when I didn’t; the president called me.”

Christie set the record straight saying President Obama calls him every day and at the start of the call in question he did congratulated him and moved on to discuss the situation at hand.

No matter how many excuses this gluttonous low life makes, his treachery is evident to all.

Hubby is a conservative, he is not nearly as involved as I am and takes a lot of his queues from me. I didn’t say a thing about Christie after the “Sandy” tour with the -0- but he came home full of spit and vinegar about Christie. He absolutely hates him. I haven’t heard him talk this way about any republican ever. He hates him as much as he does the -0-, pelosie, reid, etc. Absolutely vile towards him.

    I am so proud! :)

BTW -- chicken and dumpling are finished and on the stove, grab a bowl and spoon and help yourselves, plenty to go around!

I’ve been sick from one thing and another for about a week and a half. The latest fun & games -- I ended up in the ER yesterday on account of pre-syncope, bradycardia, chest pains. They ran some tests & didn’t find any recent clot or evidence of MI. But they said I needed a stress test. That’ll have to wait until after we’ve dealt with my husband’s ongoing high BP and I have some idea how I’m going to pay for it if it turns out there actually is a cardiac issue with me.

In this weather, you need heat. They have no clean water. I’m suprised we haven’t seen the beginning of cholera.

I know. We (my family) got flooded out -- water up to the second floor -- in a multi-state flood in 1985 (I think it was 85). Also in November. We survived for 2 reasons -- we had a place to go -- a condo in Florida -- until the water receded -- and a houseboat to work the cleanup from that was warm, clean, and stocked. Mom and Dad were 70 years old at the time, my grandmother was 88-89. That was not survivable for any of them in the circumstances you see in Staten Island or what we had in Pennsylvania.

My grandfather told no war stories. The only thing he ever mentioned was about the Red Cross and why he wouldn’t donate to them. In WWI, after prolonged combat, he and what was left of his friends were pulled off the line and sent to the rear for rest and resupply. They got into a line to get a cup of hot coffee supplied by the Red Cross. When they tried to charge him 5 cents he politely handed them back the coffee and never gave a penny to them the rest of his life. Some things never change.

Nope the Red Cross hasn’t changed internationally or nationally. I would never, ever donate to them.

In the Balkans they refused to help any Serbs. Of course, that’s when Liddy Dole was in charge. It figures.

Meanwhile, the Serbs’ own Red Cross helped everybody, regardless of who they were or where they were from. But you never saw that in the papers.

    http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/333132/why-i-despair-charles-c-w-cooke

The central problem is that America, knowing Obama, gave him a second term

During the 1990s, I watched in awe as Silicon Valley revolutionized the world. Once, my father told me that the difference between the average Briton and the average American was that a Briton looks at a man driving a Ferrari and thinks, “What a b*****d,” while an American thinks, “I’ll be him one day.” This my father considered a great virtue — as do I. By the time that I was ten years old, I didn’t just think that America was the world’s great hope, I knew it.

Today 47% are dependent on government and at least 5% more want to be.
That’s the difference. Not Christie, not the RNC, not the next rich white guy for pres GOP, not you and not me.

The attitude described above is not prevalent any longer.
50 years ago a TV masked man taught kids about justice and fair play.
Today they are taught those things by Obama and the Bimbo Housewives of New York. That masked man would be laughed at and ridiculed. Hell, Lone Ranger reruns could get Clayton Moore arrested these days. American Society is a caricature, a reality show treatment of what leftover hippies think it should be. That’s who runs the show now.
You can run Condi Rice and Herm Cain and nothing would change as long as Democrats promise a chicken in every pot—- in the kitchen of your government subsidized housing with 3 flat screen TVs.

Your grandkids and mine will fight the next civil war when the money press breaks. Maybe our kids will. Maybe we’ll last long enough to start it, but I don’t see any other outcome. The hippies have us with a strong wind at our back in a following sea with a rocky shore ahead.
Yeah, I know, total downer but the reality is there. The 60s were a warm up for what’s coming.

We shoulda shot ‘em at Woodstock when we had the chance.

You can bet your last dollar on that they know not what is coming down the pipe….they were warned…OH BUT BIG BIRD, OH BUT BIRTH CONTROL NEEDS TO BE FREE, OH BUT ABORTIONS NEED TO BE FREE, OH BUT THERE IS A WAR ON WOMEN (and you know this one makes the least sense..any dummy who thought there was a war on women needs to go back in time and bitch)OH BUT BLACK PEOPLE WILL BE BACK IN SHACKLES! (again repeat about the women’s movement) OH WE NEED FREE HEALTH-CARE(nothing is free..where is the money going to come from to finance it? Dummmies)!
Yeah this is an upside down world to be sure at this point.

Possibly related to the computer vote fraud? Seems stuxnet code is popping up in an awful lot of places lately.

Depending on where this code comes from it could be either the next digital Pearl Harbor or the Reichstag Fire. Could be used either way by the Government to shutdown the Internet.

    Yeah, this isn’t good.

I wish an independent group could get a hold of some of the voting machines from the areas that reported 90% dem turnout and check for stuxnet traces.

Lol, unfortunately I’ve already had to resort to food stamps. And medicaid for the kids. I myself turned down medicaid and tanf and hope that I don’t get sick or injured when the VA clinic is closed.

I didn’t want to get assistance but my disability and my paycheck don’t go far enough to even cover my current expenses. I’m actually trying to figure out how to get enough money to afford to rent a home now.

I hate being part of the system. But, now that a huge chunk of the country has voted for more of it, I’m thinking of just signing up for the whole package. Maybe we can break the system and get started over faster. Or at least prove to the rest of the 47 that this isn’t sustainable.

Nope, any lawyer I could get is one of those fly by night tv types. Besides I’m either near or at the end of my appeal period.

Besides, somehow they’ve done something weird with the tests they did.

I applied based on increase in my primary disability along with two secondary disabilities directly connected to the primary.

They denied all three on “not enough evidence of worsening condition”.

If I were to find myself suddenly out of work (entirely possible), I would definitely start there.

Staffing agencies here are overloaded. Plus I don’t have any transportation.

I have a car I’m buying but it’s two hours away, and I have had a lot of financial problems popping up recently so I haven’t been able to finish paying it off.

Since April I’ve been paying. It’s only 500 bucks, but for some reason everytime I get ready to figure out how to pay it, something goes wrong. So I’ve still got 250 left. That doesn’t even count the gas to go get it and bring it back, any repairs and checks, fluids, etc.

Plus I think my lawyer is getting ready to either sue me or seize my tax return for non-payment. (He has a power of attorney for my returns.)

I’m really hating life this year.

Not a “college education”; a college credential. The kiddies aren’t getting a college education, don’t want it, and wouldn’t know what to do with it if they had it. They want the credential and the job they believe it entitles them to.

Remember that a great many of the vast army of new college kids actually spend the first two years of their college time in “remediation,” i.e., learning to be almost as literate as a high school graduate of forty years ago.

I teach kids at the college level. They are barely literate, have no general education background, and do not know how to think, which is what college is supposed to teach you.
