Progressives love to claim Israel needs to divide Jerusalem because it’s Islam’s 3rd holiest city. This propaganda is spewed by the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda and their rivals in Iran and Hizb’Allah. All we hear here in the media is this claim about Jerusalem’s importance to Islam. Well someone should tell the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood aka Hamas this. They have fired rockets towards Jerusalem.
Two rockets landed outside of Jerusalem Friday evening as sirens rang out, causing no injuries or damage. Police reported that there was “no indication” that rockets landed in the city, stating that “most likely, the rockets landed in an open area outside of Jerusalem.”
Hamas took credit for the attack, claiming to have shot “an improved Kassam,” which it called an M-75, towards Jerusalem. The launch represents the first Hamas rocket attack aimed at Jerusalem.

Clearly Hamas does not view Jerusalem as holy to Islam. Yet the Marxist Media will still push this Islamic lie about Jerusalem’s importance. Actions speak louder than words and Hamas’s rocket fire towards Jerusalem shows what a canard this lie is.

You have to understand. Jerusalem is the Third Holiest Site in Islam, but explosives are Islam’s sacrement.
Israel needs to hit the dome of the rock with a hellfire missle.
the time is rapidly approaching when there will be only two kinds of people…Muzlims and supporters of Islam, and everybody else…bring it on

Israel is looking at 4 separate opponents braced against her…(which makes for a fair fight)…but the key to being outnumbered more than 2-1 is who to take out first and that would be Egypt imo…Med to the west and plenty of open airspace to the south/south west
Maybe it is time for me to run for President. I am not nice, I will say things like the 47 percent then defend it. I would gladly outlaw all collective bargaining. Individual rights and responsibilities. I would not have a muslim outreach, unless creative military personnel drew hands at the warhead tips. I would not hesitate to spend money, provided it was not “borrowed” from a foreign source. Key to a lot of what the US could do, would be to getting our deficit back to levels that are far more manageable. If Iron Fist is right with the 21 Trillion estimate, that makes that chore significantly more difficult. Where I get my numbers is easy. We owe $16 trillion and change right now. Obama added a little over $5 trillion in his first four yars. Simply by assuming that Obama won’t be worse in his second four years than the first (not a safe assumption, by any means, bu tit keeps the math simple), I just add another $5 trillion onto what we owe now. Presto! $21 trillion in national debt. If the economy doesn’t shrink, that is a bit less than 150% GDP. Current GDP is right at $16 trillion. Of course, Obama could spend more and the economy could shrink, making those numbers somewhat worse.
@ Iron Fist:
You have to take in account the additional interest rates for the 5 Trillion from the last four years the government has to pay in the next four years.
@ eaglesoars:
They don’t care. I think they jumped the gun. The plan was to remove Assad, then destroy Hizballah in Lebanon and then overthrow the Hashemites in Jordan. Then with Israel surrounded by the new Caliphate, that’s when the war was supposed to start.

If they let us go over the cliff, then Obama pumps up spending more, it’ll gut the military and be the worst possible thing for the ecnomy. High deficts and low economic growth.

Yeah, the $21 trillion comes from a very sketchy guesstimate. It is probably understating the magnitude of the problem. It also doesn’t take into account growth in entitlements, especially ObamaCare, which no one really knows how much will cost. It is a nice round figure for discussing the magnitude of the problem, though. We’ll owe far more than the government can hope to take in in revenue in any reasonable timeframe.

There were protests already in Jordan. After Assad and Lebanon, Jordan is their main target.

The Palestinians are a manufactured modern people to upset the new state of Israel. If the surrounding Arab countries are really concerned about their social state, they should invite their Islamic brothers to a better living and absorb them into their richer countries.

I could go on writing and explain my view in 10,000 words, but that is not necessary. There are all too many that are willing to do the work that others will not do, the latter due to misguided conscience. All too many Christians are pacifists who don’t understand the need for holy war.
Now before someone suggests me as a Crusader type, let me say one thing and I will quote Paul.
Paul was speaking about just rulers, those who have the best interest of the people they rule. Yet when these factions of people take interest in evil, then just retributions are guaranteed on those who partake in evil ultimately the sword is the result to bring justice.
So in a sense I agree with you. But the recompense must be humane. As if killing another can be that; in war all bets are off when your loved ones are in danger from the same at the hands of those who don’t play by the same rule.

China is about to reap the whirlwind of:-
*A collapsing and flawed demographic
*Ongoing and completely entrenched state corruption to the very highest levels that totally resists any change past cosmetic and throwing the odd scapegoat to the mobs
*Flawed infrastructure and a very challenging geography that severely limits China’s options
*A massive population that will need imported food especially as the ecology in China collapses spawning ‘bad food’ scandals but with an increasingly restricted access to foreign exchange to pay for it.
*Partial loss of its major European customer and a collapsing EU market for Chinese goods
* Hardening attitudes in the US to Chinese currency manipulation and the resulting US tariff barriers resulting in a drop in the US market for Chinese goods
*Lost opportunity of establishing a viable internal economy (it’d be hard enough even with a Chinese liberal regime in place. With an old guard hard line ‘throwback regime’ it’s impossible)
*Internal wage pressure in Chinese industry at a time that it can’t afford it
*The lost opportunity of China moving past the cost based, copy and manufacture, export driven, authoritarian capitalist model, to one that supports innovation and free expression of ideas
*Devaluation of Chinese held US bonds, putting further pressure on Chinese financial viability
*Masses of hidden bad debt parked in Chinese State banks with no possibility that they will ever be paid back
*A subsidised and terribly inefficient state economy at a time when the money is starting to run out
*The massive endemic waste involved in cross subsidization of state businesses, not for economic reasons but for reasons of social stability and the maintenance of Party power
*The beginnings of political religious and ethnic restiveness along the Chinese periphery.
*The promise of an authoritarian crackdown in China by a new hard line leadership
*A strong possibility of growing political and economic uprisings in China, that will be put down violently over the next decade by an increasingly authoritarian State.
*The very strong possibility that China will attempt to ‘distract’ her people by manufacturing a foreign military adventure, probably in the South China Sea, as a way to pull the people in behind the Party.
*The inevitable collapse of the Chinese economy over the next 30 years due to the inherent intractable contradictions built into the current Chinese State, leading to the break up of China
Expect China to go on one last buying spree to try and secure food and resources for its people. The West and Africa/Sth America, beware of integrated top to bottom supply chains totally staffed and controlled by the Chinese government .
China needed a Gorbochov and they all got a bunch of Brezhnev clones throwbacks as their new ‘leadership
If the bottom line is a clue, Evans-Pritchard is also a student of Shakespeare.

Civilians are warned to stay away from all such places and militants or they will become collateral casualties as assumed supporters of militants. Then destroy the enemy.

My Mum used to chop chicken, chop eggs and spread mayo on the same cutting board with the same knife and no bleach, but we didn’t seem to get food poisoning.
Our school sandwiches were wrapped in wax paper in a brown paper bag, not in ice pack coolers, but I can’t remember getting e.Coli.
Almost all of us would have rather gone swimming in the lake instead of a pristine pool (talk about boring), no beach closures then.
We all took PE … and risked permanent injury with a pair of Dunlop sandshoes instead of having cross-training athletic shoes with air cushion soles and built in light reflectors. I can’t recall any injuries but they must have happened because they tell us how much safer we are now.
We all said prayers in school and sang the national anthem, and staying in detention after school caught all sorts of negative attention.
I thought that I was supposed to accomplish something before I was allowed to be proud of myself.
I just can’t recall how bored we were without computers, Play Station, Nintendo, X-box or 270 digital TV cable stations.
Oh yeah … and where was the Benadryl and sterilisation kit when I got that bee sting? I could have been killed!
We played “King of the Hill” on piles of gravel left on vacant construction sites and when we got hurt, Mum pulled out the 48 cent bottle of mercurochrome (kids liked it better because it didn’t sting like iodine did) and then we got our arse spanked.

Now it’s a trip to the emergency room, followed by a 10 day dose of a $49 bottle of antibiotics and then Mum calls the Attorney to sue the contractor for leaving a horribly vicious pile of gravel where it was such a threat.
To top it off, not a single person I knew had ever been told that they were from a dysfunctional family.
How could we possibly have known that?
We never needed to get into group therapy and anger management classes.
We were obviously so duped by so many social ills, that we didn’t even notice that the entire country wasn’t taking Prozac!
How did we ever survive?
LOVE TO ALL OF US WHO SHARED THIS ERA. AND TO ALL WHO DIDN’T, SORRY FOR WHAT YOU MISSED.
