One other thing about the Portly Pusillanimous Punk. You would think a guy who cut his teeth on the wot & the middle east would at least have a passing reference to Morsi seizing power over the judiciary & basically installing himself as dictator in Egypt but I guess that makes his bff Barry look bad.

Perhaps, but I doubt the nation will survive millions upon millions of Obama voters being told they will have to actually pay $3500 to $4500 a year for supposedly free healthcare while working minimum wage or slightly above minimum wage jobs.

Whats funny is, my bil who’s an Obamabot & still lives at home at 35 years old & plays with Warhammer figures thinks Obamacare is the crowning achievement of our once fine Republic had no idea he was going to actually have to pay for his own healthcare.

When I told him over Thanksgiving dinner how much & that if he didn’t get coverage he would face a $6000 fine and/or a year in prison it was like pouring a bucket of ice cold water over him.

3500 to 4500 dollars is a lot of Warhammer figurines.

We were the ones paying attention while Nancy/Reid & Co. told everyone they would have to pass it to see whats in it. There was a reason for this, the reason being of course the left would never go along with actually having to pay for any of this since most of ‘em can afford it, but just choose not to have it because they are young & stupid. And the ones who are old weren’t told that this boondoggle will rob Medicare to the bones & their healthcare will indeed end up being rationed.

They lied to everyone but mostly their own electorate. Oh well, you get the government you deserve.

    @ heysoos:

I saw a report I believe it was over at PJM that said over 6 million Americans left last year & repatriated to places like Southeast Asia, Abu Dhabi, Belize & Costa Rica, the highest amount of Americans leaving ever.

A lot of them simply went for better job opportunities that they simply couldn’t find here but a lot of them also left because they basically wanted to escape with their wealth intact.

It used to be you saw this type of migration between Blue States & Red States whenever the tax burdens got too much to bear in the Blue States but now it’s happening on a national/global scale.

Socialism/communism only works until you run out of other peoples money & soon there won’t be anybody with any money left over here….and then the collapse.

Of course trying to warn people of what obamacare is really like…they don’t believe you. It’s amazing the willfull ignorance going on.
Talk to an obama voter and they will tell you even if you don’t say anything about the election “You need to get over it..the people have spoken!” “Money is the root of all evil!!!” (I think the Bible says the LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil!) “It is good for people to suffer it builds character.” (Really? So you want your children and grandchildren to suffer for their own good.) I don’t even have to mention the election and am being told I need to get over it. I don’t even need to talk about politic’s and people start talking about it. They really do believe that FAIRNESS is more important than FREEDOM. So all the finger pointing and what not concerning this election is mute over half the American people have collectivaly lost their minds and in their delusion I don’t see how you can reach them. They have eyes to see; but do not see. They have ears to hear; but do not hear.

No kidding. They really want other people to suffer and think other people suffering is a good thing to build their character. Really? What you think you aren’t going to suffer? Some of them consider themselves religious but are very quick to judge others…didn’t the Bible tell them to take the log out of their own eye before trying to remove the speck from their neighbors.

True. I honestly don’t understand this mindset and if another obama voter talks to me about how money is evil and having In God We Trust on our money is blasphemy and fairness is more important than freedom I will just have to say my phone is dying. Yeah gloating is a bitch… but take my sister for example. She is an HCP and a greenie. She was sure gloating the day after the election. Then she found out that between the government slashing her payment schedule and her tax increase she can no longer afford to pay her mortgage. Gloating can turn to weeping and gnashing of teeth in short manor.

So you want to see people suffer? They freaked and said I but words in their mouth…so far it hasn’t hit home with them. I say nothing …and really I as far as the election…sure it didn’t come out the way I had hoped and it what it is …is what I tell them. But they don’t accept it and tell me I need to get over it ..get over what? People want fairness instead of freedom? All I get back is the people have spoken and I tell them I really don’t want to hear it. No it hasn’t hit home to my family …yet. I’m sure they will blame the evil Republicans and not obama.

Glenn Reynolds is calling this ‘getting it fast and hard’ -- as exemplied by Susan Estrich’s inadvertanly hilarious column the other day. “I voted for Obama because he ended 2 wars, I voted for Obama because I know how hard it is to get insurance when you have a pre-existing condition, blah blah blah. I DID NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA BECAUSE I THOUGHT I’M NOT PAYING ENOUGH IN TAXES’

Check this out from the President! Of Uganda that is…

“I stand here today to close the evil past, and especially in the last 50 years of our national leadership history and at the threshold of a new dispensation in the life of this nation. I stand here on my own behalf and on behalf of my predecessors to repent. We ask for your forgiveness,” Museveni prayed.

“We confess these sins, which have greatly hampered our national cohesion and delayed our political, social and economic transformation. We confess sins of idolatry and witchcraft which are rampant in our land. We confess sins of shedding innocent blood, sins of political hypocrisy, dishonesty, intrigue and betrayal,” Museveni said.

“Forgive us of sins of pride, tribalism and sectarianism; sins of laziness, indifference and irresponsibility; sins of corruption and bribery that have eroded our national resources; sins of sexual immorality, drunkenness and debauchery; sins of unforgiveness, bitterness, hatred and revenge; sins of injustice, oppression and exploitation; sins of rebellion, insubordination, strife and conflict,” Museveni prayed.

Next, the president dedicated Uganda to God.

“We want to dedicate this nation to you so that you will be our God and guide. We want Uganda to be known as a nation that fears God and as a nation whose foundations are firmly rooted in righteousness and justice to fulfill what the Bible says in Psalm 33:12: Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. A people you have chosen as your own,” Museveni prayed.

You know what you are dealing with, so you have to deal with it in your own way. Your statement doesn’t have to be all at once or overt. Just the occasional muttering of “you’re OK with stealing from others then” or “isn’t it wrong to be envious of what others have?” could have an effect. Or not. After all, with family, it’s a hard decision between attempting to make a point and knowing that you have to live and deal with them regularly.

He quoted British 17th century statesman Edmund Burke, who said, “The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

Daubenmire said that in America, “good men have yielded power to evil men.”

“Evil rules when evil men make the rules,” he said.

Sure some people are held down ….but when you are talking to someone who is going totally on emotions and not facts and they refuse to see the facts you aren’t going to get anywhere. I know the pathology of the way they think. Basically “your wrong and I’m right no matter what.” Waste of breath when you can’t get a word in edge-wise and then they accuse you of not letting them say anything. The thing is I know how they think on every issue..they have no idea what I think on anything.

Sorry to hear that. Some people are just unreachable, some people become reachable after some traumatic event in their lives, some people never become reachable.

As far as your statement about having the ability to rise above, I am living proof of that as is my brother. We were born into a family of hardworking farmers, but the farm was never very prosperous and I know my parents struggled to keep things together. Both my brother and myself were able to work our way through college and became engineers. We now have been blessed with good careers and are able to live comfortably, not lavishly, but way beyond what we grew up with. Given the Obummer plans for America, young people in my circumstances will be held down and unable to get ahead.

As long as election fraud runs unchecked, it doesn’t matter any more how any sector of the citizenry feels about anything. You can still vote, but it won’t affect anything.
