Harry Belafonte has been a huge supporter of the 3rd World Liberation Movement. He is an admirer of the Castro regime and the Venezuelan clown, Hugo Chavez. He wants a 3rd World style regime here in America. The one hit wonder knows That Obama is a 3rd World Liberation ideologue, but is hamstring by the US Constitution. Belafonte is now out in the open. The Marxist singer is calling for political opponents of Obama to be thrown in jail.

Harry Belafonte is a Totalitarian 3rd World Liberation Marxist. He wants a Marxist dictatorship in America led by Obama. He is a traitor who has dishonored his service in the Navy during WWII.

Well i read him as talking seriously up to that last statement. I believe that was his form of a joke. Half serious. He would be ok if it happened.

I thought him talking of political maturity and a mandate for OBama to be particularly superficial and weak. He talks against corruption at Fox news but fails to see that the union strength and the media strength and the affirmative action strength of his own party are the most corrupt components of the the AMerican political scene.

Affirmative Action has created a ton of nonsense thinkers trying to throw their political thoughts around like they are Einstein. It’s a bubble that needs to be burst. Sorry affirmative action graduate, you are still stupid if you didn’t do the work. The degree means nothing except as a license to protest and yell and be modern thug.

Well, if Belafonte wants Obama to be a Third World dictator, he’s got his wish.

Obama, to the extent he governs at all, is putting the structure of dictatorship firmly in place, and he is doing his level best to bring the US down to Third World status.

Belafonte maybe “joking” but the fact he supports 3rd World tyrants means he would agree with an Obama dictatorship.

@ Rodan: He might be fantasizing more than joking. hard to tell. Given his history he was probably trying really hard here to moderate his actually thoughts. He probably wants to kill every white man alive but doesn’t have the balls to say it outloud anymore.

notice how sharpton equated him with FDR, MLK, Mandala, Obama. To me its more like CHE, Castro, Chavez, Malcom X, Farrakhan, Ayers, Obama.

@ 17 brookly red: IT’s the aura. I grew up in the midwest and we would walk down the street telling people “Hello” “Hi” “How are you” “Nice day” and all that. Moved to the west coast and was shocked at how cynical and jealous the population of the Pacific Northwest seemed. Visited New York and was shocked at how blunt and rude someone walking the street of New York was.

Now after a lot of drugs and alcohol I am numb to most of that and consider it normal.

The sick and old don’t last very long in Hoovervilles, either.

No, some people WERE told they wouldn’t be hired because they were too old to do the work.

At the retail store where I work, on account of my age, they won’t let me do anything but work the cash register. They don’t let me lift stuff.

I was explicitly denied a job installing networks because people didn’t believe I could handle crawling under buildings (easy for me because I am *ahem* NOT a big person) or go up ladders (same thing). The fact is, we all know who gets the blame. It’s just a matter of fact. Any further course corrections will be impossible with things tied to the conservatives. (Note I do not say republicans. The press narrative has shifted dramatically in the past few days. This is now being hung entirely on conservative interference.) The low info people will eat this up and believe it because the guy/gal with the pretty hair and bright smile says so.

Completely agree with the Conservatives get the blame. As for the low info types…all the low info folks I know are FSA members and they’re not the ones I’m in this for. Math is catching up with our country’s fiscal irresponsibility. When it does as it surely will -- that’s when the interesting things start to happen.

    @ 1389AD:
    Exactly.

We need to stop dumping money into ineffective ads that pretend the world is the same as it was 40 years ago and actually buy as much media as we can. Grab them before Obama manages to bail them out.

Lets also not forget that the AARP is also one of our greatest enemies now. There are a couple of conservative alternatives, but they haven’t managed to get nationwide yet.

The AARP was a trusted organization for so long, the it’s complete shift to liberal orthodoxy has gone unnoticed by most members.

How do we begin countering that? The over 65 group largely falls into lo-info. (Except ours, they are wonderfully tuned in.)

    @ Brick:
It will be interesting but not in a good way.

I figure the California bailout will be the final straw.

In a few weeks the FICA withholding jumps 2%. That’s a 2% paycut in take home pay for everyone -- well, everyone that still has a job that is. Additionally -- many companies will be reducing previously 40hr/wk employees to less than 30 to skirt the add’l costs for ACA implementation. Many small companies close to 50 employees will find refuge by firing the needed number to come in under that threshhold.

I’m predicting things will get very interesting very quickly after the first of the year. I hope I’m wrong. Really.

Yep. And the FICA increase will do exactly….nothing.

dude I work in the media… it is a hospice. we cater to the dying.

We believed that last election and it bit us in the ass.

Print media is hemorrhaging money but guess where people turn for their news? Their local newspapers website or tv station website.

Dying or not, most of the country listens to them and believes what they say.

And if you don’t believe the left is planning a media stimulus package then you have more faith in the won than you should.

you know and I speak as a professional, word of mouth still rules. Be it a newspaper, a TV show, a web site, radio, whatever… people react to human contact.

If you as a man earn the respect of another and point them in the right direction, then you replace the talking head on the TV.

This can not be done by buying the airwaves

    @ brookly red:
I agree word of mouth is the best way.

But, just like in advertising the more people you get to the more spread the word.

Picture word of mouth as an inverted pyramid. One tells two, tells four, and on and on.

With control of a larger segment of the media, you have a million trees doing this.

I must go but would love to discuss further at another time. but before I go I ask you to chose, 100 volunteers or 1,000 conscripts?

As much as I’d love to have all volunteers, that is going to ensure we never have the power we need to make sure the country can be saved.

    Night.
