Incredible op-ed today in the New York Times by Louis Michael Seidman who taught constitutional law for 40 years at Georgetown University. And this just days after PRAVDA, the former mouthpiece of the communist Soviet Union, published an op-ed defending the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. See the preceding headline thread. Strange days indeed.
If even this change is impossible, perhaps the dream of a country ruled by “We the people” is impossibly utopian. If so, we have to give up on the claim that we are a self-governing people who can settle our disagreements through mature and tolerant debate. But before abandoning our heritage of self-government, we ought to try extricating ourselves from constitutional bondage so that we can give real freedom a chance.
Can there be any doubt that 40 years of teachings by leftist academicians such as Seidman have caused this kind of rot to become “mainstream”?

Gee…what famous recent graduate of Georgetown Law do we know?
Oh, yeah…the brilliant scholar Sandra Fluke.
Probably one of this clown’s star students.
Speaking of idiocy from the NY Times:
A Broken System for Tracking Guns
They’re demanding new, sweeping powers to be granted to the ATF, which is probably the most dysfunctional law enforcement agency in the entire country. And of course the Times blames all its problems on the NRA.
I think it’s a sign of the end times…
I’m agreeing with Glenn Greenwald:
