You be the judge:

After several delays and obfuscations, Shrillary will finally testify. Let’s see how long her story holds up.

I’m certainly no Christie fan, or a Zuckerber fan, for that matter, but this is telling:

Unlike! DGA tweets call for Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to cancel Christie fundraiser

They simply cannot abide anyone straying from their groupthink and when you do they get downright indignant. What arrogance.

“With all due respect, the fact is that we had four dead Americans,” Clinton said angrily as she testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, an appearance delayed more than a month because of her ill health.

“Was it because of a protest, or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?” she said, making chopping motions with her hands for emphasis.

This outburst by Hillary was contrived, she just waited for the right question
    to feign indignation.
Imagine if a Republican had said “What difference at this point does it make?”
We know that they’re dead & don’t need Hillary to produce autopsy reports.
The purpose of the Hearing to find out who is at fault, and Hillary it’s you.

Of course she isn’t a strong woman or she wouldn’t have put up with Bill’s crap for all these years. I could understand *one* mistake with another woman by Bill and if and there is a big IF…she would give him a second chance the man would be afraid to step out of bounds again if Hillary were a strong woman. Problem is that men who are serial philanderers normally don’t marry strong women. For good reason too.

Not only was bho re-elected with out having a budget for 3 years, nixing the Canadian pipe-line, but right before the election the Benghazi terrorist attack on our embassy was …what some guys walking around on oh 9/11 and killed some Americans for the hell of it one of which happened by accident to be an ambassdor. Well it WAS cheap. Now I get eye opening offers at the gun range.

For some reason it is still more valuble to me than to anyone else.

    It must be love.

I’m still just a little bit amused about the whole AR-AK thing. They’re both good rifles and I’m glad for anyone that has either. The current big stink is driving up the prices. I went with a Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle for the following reasons. (A) same ammo as the AR. (B) there are too many low-info bedwetters out there who would reflexively call 911 if they saw someone carrying an AR or AK and I wanted to avoid that. (C) It’s light-weight, small and will put rounds down range as well as an AK or AR. Mine is black with the composite stock. I can add a tactical stock if I want. Poor man’s AR/AK. Also, I note that current price is $200 -- $500 higher than what I paid for mine about 5 years ago. Nifty little rifle equipped with mini-red dot site.

Biden: Taking Away Guns Isn’t “Gun Control,” It’s “Gun Safety”…

Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday that he views the administration’s efforts to reduce firearms violence as gun safety – not gun control.

The vice president fielded questions online in a Google+ Hangout, saying the proposals that he and President Barack Obama have laid out won’t end gun crime, but they still could make a difference.

Stemming gun violence has emerged as a priority for the Obama administration in the wake of the Newtown, Conn., school shooting in December. Mr. Obama already is moving ahead with 23 executive actions, and he’s called on Congress to pass legislation that would require background checks for all gun buyers, ban high-capacity magazines and ban some semiautomatic rifles often called assault weapons.

Dem Sen. Robert Menendez Opens Kerry Confirmation Hearing By Praising Him For Leadership On “Most Consequential Issue Of Our Time – Climate Change”…

Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) opened Sen. John Kerry’s Secretary of State confirmation hearing Thursday, praising Kerry’s leadership “on the most consequential issue of our time – climate change.”

Yeah, that’s what I lie awake at night worrying about.
    //

For the record, Kerry did not mention climate change in his opening statement to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

However, he did issue a call to put America’s economy on a solid footing:

“The first priority of business which will affect my credibility as a diplomat working to help other countries create order, is whether America at last puts its own fiscal house in order,” Kerry said.

“My plea is that we can summon across party lines, without partisan diversions, an economic patriotism which recognizes that American strength and prospects abroad, depend on American strength and results at home.”

So, is Kerry going to somehow convince Obama to resign, so we can stop borrowing $4 billion a day?

I know this joke is in bad taste. I guess most jokes are, but I saw it posted on my local shooting forum, it gave me a chuckle and I thought I’d share.

I was at the bar the other night and overheard three very hefty women talking at the bar.

Their accent appeared to be Scottish, so I approached and asked, “Hello, are you three lassies from Scotland?”

One of them angrily screeched, “It’s Wales, Wales you bloody idiot!”

So I apologized and replied, “I am so sorry. Are you three whales from Scotland?”

And that’s the last thing I remember.

Feinsteins bill will go down in flames with the press proclaiming the dems that crossed over to support the republicans.
Then the next bill will be put forward by someone that they will claim is known for being a “centrist” possibly even a traitor republican. The press will then start running a smear campaign on any republicans that won’t vote for this “common sense gun legislation”. Meanwhile O will keep the EO’s hanging over the heads of everyone convincing the republican wimps that if they don’t support the new bill they will get hit with O’s even stronger rules.

So this whole thing is based on republicans betraying their principles and being cowards in order to get love from the press.

My county tells Baracky to f*ck off:

El Paso County passes measure defying Obama’s gun control orders

El Paso County’s commissioners won’t enforce laws — federal or state — that infringe on the Second Amendment right to bear arms and are prepared to face any financial consequences of not following federal law.

The five-member board may be the first elected panel in Colorado to pass a resolution challenging President Barack Obama’s 23 executive orders designed to crack down on gun violence, but others could soon follow.

Weld County’s commissioners on Monday will discuss a pro-Second Amendment resolution. And sheriffs in El Paso, Garfield, Larimer and Weld counties have announced similar stances.

County resolutions are typically symbolic gestures intended to show support for an issue.

Most, if not all, of the president’s executive orders mean little change for local law enforcement. And any new laws will certainly be challenged, with the U.S. Supreme Court ultimately deciding what is a violation of the Constitution and what is not.

But El Paso County’s commissioners don’t care.

“We’re being proactive and being pre-emptive,” said El Paso County Commissioner Peggy Littleton, who spearheaded the pro-Second Amendment measure that passed unanimously Tuesday. “We’re putting people on notice, whether it’s the state legislature or at the federal level.”

hard to disagree with that, but people are becoming more and more skeptical on these peripheral issues because they can compare liberal blab trumping up the economy when they know it isn’t so…it takes time…people have lost faith in BO with regard to the economy, a huge failure…so they look around at other issues and are less impressed…BO himself is set up for an epic failure, a huge meltdown…the donks are super aggressive right now because they have no choice

I was thinking about this just today how law enforcement would initiate a ban and the subsequent confiscations. They would go slowly at first with a many citizens here and there giving them up, being law abiding citizen types. But the knock on the wrong doors would break all hell loose and then we would have dead agents. What comes next? The very adamant call on just why all guns need to be banned. To stop the horrific execution of those just doing their jobs to uphold the ban.

I think the first shots will be out of MT, ID, or WY. Possibly TX.

The one here in MT or the one in ID won’t be any group that the conservatives want any association with. It will be perpetrated on a white supremacist group in ID or a militia group here in MT. That way they can do a test run on how they can take out radical groups with the cooperation of the press. After that they will move on to smaller groups of radicals. After they run out of radicals the narrative will be set and all they will have to do is label any resistance as a dangerous radical or white supremacist group.

for me that was over ten years ago…it was a brochure in a hotel…maybe I’ll go over to Turkey Shoot or whatever it is…it’s not about money

    The laws are capriciously enforced.

Anyone who looks at a gun violence map would tell you of 50 Democratic cities where confiscation roundups would net hundreds if not thousands of felons with guns.

    We pause for a mini-rant:

The guns are not illegal but the people posessing them are not supposed to. The idea of illegal guns is total BS (and I know that a lot of these locales have “permits” but that is unconstitutional IMHO).

Of course we know that, just like Ruby Ridge or Waco they will pick some poor enthusiast out in the country minding his own. They will probably make sure that he flies a confederate flag or has one of those “Kill them All and Let God Sort The Out” banners so he fits the angry conservative male profile.

England’s welfare rolls exploded during 12 years of Labour rule and now with Conservatives back in power, there are efforts underway to curb benefits. But progress has been difficult, and the situation will soon grow worse; under European Union rules, Britain will be forced to welcome tens of million additional immigrants from eastern Europe beginning next year, and all will be immediately eligible for the full-range of U.K. welfare benefits. Currently, new arrivals from that region must have a job in Britain to remain in the country.

    “The Difference Made”

Me too. I’ve never been past TX, but have been to all the states west of her. With the exception of NY city on a business trip.

I like Texas..it’s like 900mi from El Paso to Shreveport…Texas is a beast, from stark desert to lush piny woods…I prefer the wide open spaces, whether it’s Texas or South Dakota…I’m comfortable in the east but I prefer it out here

in New Mexico, you can drive a 100 miles and the scenery doesn’t even change

True ‘dat. There is a whole lot of nothing between El Paso and Deming.

    @ The Osprey:

I’ve been to Albuquerque plenty of times on business, drove from Phoenix up to Raton in 2009 for an event at NRA Whittington Center.
Some beautiful country in that state.

A meetup at the Whitington Center would be cool.

That’s about 4 hours south of here.

Deming through Lordsburg and on into eastern Arizona…that is a real no mans land…desolate, dangerous, and thank god for the Border Patrol…probably the most remote, wild areas of this entire country

Scenery doesn’t change until you get to Texas Canyon. Amazing feature, huge hills of granite boulders in the middle of the desert.

that country across there can get spooky at dusk and evening…I would not drive across there at night and I’m fearless like that…I tell ya that area is creepy when you are all alone out there

One of these day were gonna have a meet up with Heysoos, Huck, Hoss and a few others. Who was it that used to post here a lot that was in the Hatch area? Them too. Lobo1 you’ll be invited too since you went to school here.
Here’s the deal. I live in the Austin, TX area. I own a house in Ruidoso. I currently have a gig in Santa Rosa but operate from Ruidoso. I drive to Santa Rosa, from Ruidoso, on Monday or Tuesday and return to Ruidoso on Thursday or Friday. Today I was in Las Vegas and then back to Santa Rosa. Tomorrow I’ll drive back to Ruidoso. I’m seeing plenty of big sky country.
why don’t you wave when you go by?…srsly, people that have not traversed the great west have no clue…huh? we have a town, it’s 40 mi over that way, be right back

See my rant of a few days back about the idiots that think everyone can have an electric car. After all who needs pickups, suv’s, or cars that can go over 100 miles a day? /dumbasses

Electric cars are either golf carts or toys.

That’s a long drive from Phoenix. On the way up, I left PHX late afternoon. Overnighted in Gallup at some famous old hotel that was built to accommodate Hollywood stars in the 30′s 40′s and 50′s filming Westerns. I had the Jane Wyman (Reagan’s first wife) room. There is a Reagan Presidential suite there…Reagan stayed there as an actor and again as President. Got into Raton and the Whittington center the following afternoon. On the way back, I drove through to Winslow, AZ, then back to PHX the following day. I could probably drive straight through but it would be something like 12-14 hours on the road.

The only reason Hillary cares about who Bill sleeps with is that he got caught and publicly humiliated, and that reflected badly on her.

Hillary is a lesbian. Muslim Brotherhood bigwig Huma Abedin (of Weinergate infamy) is her main paramour.
