Alas, perception is reality to a great deal of American voters and the prevailing perception will hold firm until actual reality takes massive chunks of flesh from their backsides… and that scenario seems week on its way. Even then, we can’t change hearts and minds if we cede any ground to the Democrats; allies can come from the most unlikely places. I certainly hope the GOP is doing some serious soul searching during the off-season, not only in terms of overall message, but in terms of messenger, as well.
