Special Note: Please don’t get the impression that this is in any way related to Malcolm X.

This one will require a click through, as the person who uploaded the film disabled embedding. I promise that it is well worth the extra mouse click, and the hour and a half that it runs. It is the story of a young man with Aspergers who is forced to take on borders when his mother passes away. The story takes place in Melbourne, Australia, and let’s just say that the borders are not the best possible influence for our main character. While Malcolm seems a bit odd, they also realize his potential, seeing in him the genius that others seem to have missed, or brushed off as childish pursuits. This movie won some film festival awards in Australia back when first released, but unfortunately never played to the wider American audience in any meaningful way. Relegated to late night HBO or Showtime runs only, it developed somewhat of a cult following that dissipated fairly quickly. Have fun, as it has no broader hidden meaning, just a feel good coming of age crime classic with a twist.

We're not easily offended and don't want people to think they have to walk on eggshells around here (like at another place that shall remain nameless) but of course, there is a limit to everything.

Play nice!
