That’s one of those things where the fact that the celebutards have started to drive people away from their industry. Not good for business. Jordan was right, Republicans buy shoes too. I’ve not gone to a fair number of movies lately either because I know that the movie itself will have a backdrop of liberal morality play or because those starring in the movie are far left celebutards who have insulted and denigrated people like myself because of our political viewpoints and then heaped thanks and praise on their messiah obama.
Cruise is one of those loony left wing celebutards. Not only is he a left wingnut, he has that whole creepy scientology gig going as well. Tremendously talented actor and if I didn’t know those things, I’d enjoy watching movies in which he stars. However, since he has made his nuttiness public, I just can’t get past that to be enticed to know that some of my money, no matter how small an amount, would go to support that.
@ 59 AZfederalist: There is so much entertainment out there now. Between getting blasted on merlot every other full moon and tracking twitter feeds in between I don’t feel a strong need to go pay $10 for a movie. And even less need to see Sean Penn movie.
since the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, I have seen three movies, coerced by my kids…the Apes thing, the Wild Hogs, filmed in NM (big whoop) and I saw the Hobbit which I enjoyed…I’m not a movie/pop guy…I dig live music and that’s what I do…I dig a little fakery…the Three Stooges and stuff like that..antique entertainment
