A least it’s not a rusty hinge on a broken gate…

you just dont understand ART!
@ coldwarrior:
It’s a plant. A green plant. That’s my guess.
coldwarrior wrote:
Sure I do.
Art is that guy with no arms and legs hung on a wall.
@ coldwarrior:
A rusty hinge….only a moonbat would consider that ART…. here is another type of art….poetry in motion by none other than Elton John….

Something small
@ coldwarrior:
Just made a beer run. Bought some Tineye.
@ Lily:
Someone’s speaking Lupus.
@ Lily:
Here’s a neat website in that vein!
I’d hang the MDMA picture in my house!
Bunk X wrote:
tineye?
@ coldwarrior:
Yeah, Tineye. Just one sip solved your puzzle.
H/T to the bunny who ain’t mine.

Someone should warn Heysoos about the hippie hat brain parasite.
I think he’s at risk for becoming a host.
@ Bunk X:
I think you meant “Lepus” as in “the Night Of The.” Peter Cottontail was a Lepus. Peter Lupus was on an impossible mission.

Probably the only redeeming thing about it.
@ Lily:How I grew up.
@ Calo:
Oh another song that you can use…maybe!!! Broken hearts and all.
/I loved it when I was younger and still love it!
@ Jack Asbeiter:
Jack I do declare you nailed it on that one.
@ Jack Asbeiter:
A martini? More like a bunny cast aside on a lonely road.
Meh, give me something else to shag with tonight.
@ The Osprey:
“Deforest” is not a term that’s allowed to be spoken in the presence of environmentals. We used to call it “logging” and nobody gave it a second thought. Now we have plastic bags instead of paper to save trees, and we have people who want to ban plastic bags to save landfills.
Save The Landfills? Really? Why not. After all, anaerobic bacteria have rights, too.
@ Suki Wong:
How about this….
Whiskey under the microscope
@ Lily:
I’m a Flaco Jiménez fan. Mellencamp is a jerk.
@ mfhorn:
That makes me think of this…maybe Suki would like this one? It’s a bit wild for me …but the guy’s will love it.
@ Suki Wong:
Suki! Nice to see you again. About those photos… I really did delete them from my ipad, and I told everyone I sent them to to do the same. You’re safe.
@ Lily:
Yikes! Way too wild for me.
@ Jack Asbeiter:
Dear heavens that is Suki in video in post 46!!!!!!!!
/so sorry Suki!!!!
@ Jack Asbeiter:
Yeah he is…but I like that song…I don’t have to be near him…so everything is all good.
@ huckfunn:
Go for it huck!!!!
It’s a party of one ….. I think now that you showed up it’s two now.
Darn it ….. I have indeed killed the thread….or no one is still up.
@ Lily:
Good song with a nice big honkin’ dollop of nostalgia.

I’m up. Watching a movie.
Awesome song here…..
@ Lily:
“Radar Love” was not Golden Earring’s best. Besides, who wants to hear a song about a microwave?
@ huckfunn:
@ Jack Asbeiter:
Awwww we have some music tonight now!!! You guys are on a roll too!
@ Jack Asbeiter:
I know but Twilight Zone wasn’t remembered so I went for something different instead of the expected.
@ lobo91:
Glad to see you lobo keeping an eye on things! Hope the movie is good.
I’ve been so stuck on this damn couch watching TV…I felt like some music to change things up.
@ Lily:
I’m watching Taken 2.
It’s pretty good.
@ lobo91:
I have that waiting on me to watch….I’ll have to move it up on my list.
@ Lily:
Here ya go. No special lasers, pyrotechnics or special effects. Just raw rock ‘n roll…
@ Lily:
@ Lily:
Have you seen the first one?
This one involves Albanian gangsters trying to get revenge against Liam Neeson for all the Albanian gangsters he killed in Paris in the first one. Takes place in Istanbul.
@ huckfunn:
CCR!! Can’t go wrong there!
@ lobo91:
Yep saw the first one…I think I own it….not sure. But I did see the first one for sure.
@ Jack Asbeiter:
Oh my! Really? LOL!
Sad news. Country singer Mindy McCready dead at 37
@ Lily:
Pinkard and Bowden are session musicians. They play both kinds of music -- Country AND Western.
@ huckfunn:
That’s unusual. Women almost never shoot themselves.
@ huckfunn:
Very tragic…don’t know the singer. But I find it odd that they both committed suicide on the same porch. Dear heavens. It’s possible…but it is rather odd in my opinion. Especially the woman…why would she leave her baby without parents??
@ lobo91:
@ Lily:
Drugs. That gal went down some long rough roads.
@ Lily:
That too
@ huckfunn:
Sounds to me like her kids are better off without their two asshole parents.
@ Jack Asbeiter:
There is a difference?
@ lobo91:
They shave themselves.
@ huckfunn:
@ Bunk X:
Now I know who she is…this story popped up a few weeks back. Drugs were more important than taking care of her children…or she was just so empty. Horrible.
lobo91 wrote:
It is unusual…but she probably wanted to go out the same way her boyfriend went out.

Yes. There is a big difference between Roy Rogers and The Carter Family.

A totally self-centered individual. Wasted talent.
@ Lily:
There is a big difference between Journey and Bill Monroe.
@ huckfunn:
Indeed…or couldn’t get out of the hole of sorrow. If your loved one committed suicide….that is a hard death to deal with. Already having problems and that happens one gets in a hole so deep death seems like a welcome fate.
/suicide is very hard on the surviving loved ones…I know. It’s awful.
@ huckfunn:
There is a big difference between Bootsy Collins and Earl Scruggs.
@ huckfunn:
A good one.
@ Jack Asbeiter:
@ Jack Asbeiter:
I see your point now.
@ Lily:
One of my best buds in college did the car-in-the-garage-tailpipe-hose thing. I was pissed off for a long time before I was sad. Drugs. I moved on. He didn’t.
@ huckfunn:
Father-in-law…shot himself in the head…I found him…I was more in shock than anything. Wasn’t mad, didn’t want my husband to see it.
I begged the police and EMT to get him to the morgue before husband got there. Husband is an only child and his mother died 3 years before his dad ….I stayed in shock for a while. It was awful. To even think of a gun made me shiver and go in fear. I don’t want to go through something like that again.
Liam Neeson seems to actually know what he’s doing with a gun. Or at least he had a decent trainer for this movie.
@ Lily:
Gee, {{Lily}}. That’s a sad story. Must have been hard for you and your husband to recover from that.
And with that …. the pain of those souls….may God Bless and heal their souls.
@ huckfunn:
Didn’t mean for sympathy…it was very hard. But God helped very much.
@ huckfunn:
And thanks {{huck}}!
lobo91 wrote:
Probably was trained a whole lot.
G’nite all.
@ Lily:
The Albanians were about right. There’s a scene where twof of them each empty 30 round AK-47 magazines into a wall trying to kill him in the next room.
As soon as they both drop their empty magazines, he pops out and kills them both with one shot each.
@ huckfunn:
Night
@ lobo91:
Sounds about right *spray and pray* isn’t gun training.
@ huckfunn:
Nite huck! Nite for me to…got rehab tomorrow….*blah*!
Nite lobo too! I’ll have to watch that movie now.
@ Lily:
Night
Have fun at rehab
Boy, you sure got trouble.
Catching up on stuff I missed tonight. From the earlier thread, if Rodan works in IT he is very probably at work on an Emergency.
I got called in at 11:00 AM this morning and am just now getting home. There is a Kick A$$ Firewall cracker attack crawling the net and it took my three man team that long to beat the f**ker!
It is NASTY!

Is this guy still thinking about converting to Islam? God, I hope not!
Well, I wonder what “joy” this week will bring? More stupid crap from Mordor on the Potomac is inevitable, of course, as is it’s equivalent from some states. More job-seeking to be done here. Temps are supposed to go above freezing today so maybe I can grill that ham steak and some pineapple slices to pair with some baked sweet potatos for dinner. If I remember to take my blood pressure meds, I suppose I could start on tax computations -- that’s always fun. Still a bit cold and I don’t have the time anyway to go to the shooting range, which might actually lower the old blood pressure. Sigh…
