WTF is going on with Rubio? Here is my email to Rubio’s assistant (whom I know personally), which I hope he will pass on:

    Hello (** NAME REMOVED **),

Many of my conservative friends are very disturbed by this development:

Sen. Rubio: Time to provide ammunition to Syrian opposition

Syrian rebels defy US and pledge allegiance to jihadi group

Rebel groups across Syria are defying the United States by pledging their allegiance to a group that Washington will designate today a terrorist organization for its alleged links to al-Qaeda.

29 opposition groups, including fighting “brigades” and civilian committees, have signed a petition calling for mass demonstrations in support of Jabhat al-Nusra, an Islamist group which the White House believes is an offshoot of al-Qaeda in Iraq.

Syrian Rebels Tied to Al Qaeda Play Key Role in War

Islamist Syrian rebels reportedly seize Scud missiles.

Syrian rebels affiliated with al-Qaeda recently captured a Syrian military depot containing Scud missiles, according to reports in Arab media outlets.

The US State Department in December called Jabhat al-Nusra, literally the assistance front, “an alias for AQI” — al-Qaeda in Iraq — and added it to the US list of foreign terror organizations, freezing all of its assets and rendering it a crime to provide the organization with any and all aid. According to State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland, the organization, representing 9 percent of the rebel forces in Syria, has carried out 600 strikes since November 2011, including “over 40″ suicide bombings and a string of successful guerrilla assaults.

U.S. blacklists al Qaeda-linked Syrian rebel group

(Reuters, Dec. 11) – The United States on Tuesday designated the radical Islamist Syrian rebel group Jabhat al-Nusra, an important fighting force in the opposition struggle, as a foreign terrorist organization and said it was trying to hijack the rebellion on behalf of al Qaeda in Iraq.

White House endorses Syrian rebels, rebels endorse al-Qaida group [VIDEO]

That’s a risky policy, because the administration has inadvertently helped jihadi-allied Islamist groups gain weapons and power in Libya, Egypt and Mali.

The Obama admin. says Jabhat al-Nusra — has NO CONNECTION to al-Qaeda.

U.S. Treasury officials on Tuesday said Jabhat al-Nusra has claimed responsibility for nearly 600 terrorist attacks in Syria since November 2011, which it characterized as attempts to hijack the Syrian rebellion, a pro-democracy uprising at its roots that has no connection to global jihadist ideologies.

U.S. Formally Recognizes Syria’s Main Rebel Group

Someone is not telling the truth — it’s either the Obama administration — or the hundreds of other mid-east analysts, intelligence officers, and field agents that have looked at the bloody record of Jabhat al-Nusra — and have determined them to be directly linked to AL-QAEDA.

Rubio has access to other sources of info that citizens don’t. Can you directly ask Benjamin Netanyahu if we should help Jabhat al-Nusra with millions of dollars of U.S. MILITARY aid? Netanyahu has vowed to erect a new barrier on the country’s border with Syria in a bid to prevent jihadists fighting against Bashar al-Assad’s regime from entering Israel.

Please pass this info to Senator Rubio.
