Former CAIR head now leader of the Syrian Rebels

GhassanHitto

The Council of American Islamic Relations is a Muslim brotherhood outfit. Their Texas branch was involved with the Hamas linked Holy Land Foundation. Ghassan Hitto was the Vice President of the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter of CAIR. He has now been named President for the Syrian Islamist rebel government.

The man chosen Monday to head Syria’s opposition government is a naturalized American who worked closely with Muslim Brotherhood affiliates in the United States, the Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Report (GMBDR) reported.

Ghassan Hitto spent years in Texas where he actively supported defendants in the Hamas-support prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF). The charity and five former officials were convicted in 2008 on 108 counts of illegally routing money to Hamas.

[....]

Hitto also served as vice president of CAIR’s Dallas-Fort Worth chapter, GMBDR reported. He also was secretary-treasurer with the American Middle Eastern League for Palestine, which GMBDR said is another name for the Islamic Association of Palestine. CAIR founders had been IAP directors. In addition, Hitto is listed as a director of the Muslim American Society’s Youth Center in Dallas.

[....]

A New York Times report Tuesday cast Hitto as “the choice of Syria’s Muslim Brotherhood, a group that has long been banned and persecuted under the Assad family’s government and that plays a powerful role in the coalition.”

The Obama Regime and the quislings of the McCain Wing of the GOP are actively supporting an anti-American organization. The people calling for Syrian intervention really need their heads examined.

The naming of Ghassan Hitto as head of the Syrian Rebels has vindicated those who claimed that CAIR was a front for the Muslim Brotherhood. No one can ever say CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood are not connected.

Isn’t that the UNindicted co-conspirator CAIR in the so-called Holy Land Foundation terror financing scheme? Let’s face it: not all Muslims are terrorists, but the vast majority of them support terrorists and their terroristic aims. That a supporter of Hamas would join the terrorists in Syria to fight is hardly a surprise.

What snow? We lucked out up here this past weekend and just had cool weather and lots of sun. I enjoyed it on Saturday.

    Oh, and good morning.

Yup, its just funny how the Syria War all the dots are connecting with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Meanwhile, back in what passes for civilization on this side of the globe, NY state “suspends” 7 round limit for ammo magazines. Seems like it finally dawned on them that, with very few exceptions (Ruger LC9, for one), nobody makes a 7 round magazine. But note it’s only a suspension, not a repeal.

You’re more than welcome to what’s falling here right now.

  7. 7 | March 25, 2013 8:40 am

    @ Iron Fist:

Look at how they are trying to lie us into war in Syria.

Rep. Rogers: Syria ‘red line has been crossed’

The House Intelligence Committee on Sunday warned there was “mounting evidence” Syrian President Bashir al-Assad has used chemical weapons and said the red line calling for a U.S. response “has been crossed.”

“When you look at the whole body of information over the last two years, there is mounting evidence that the Assad regime has used at least a small quantity of chemical weapons throughout the course of this conflict,” said Chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

I am really getting sick of these nation building Pro-Islamic Republicans. The McCain Wing which this Rogers clown belongs to is just giving Obama cover.

If we go to war in Syria, the media will claim Republicans forced Obama into it. They will blame Republicans when it turns out to be a disaster.

  15. 15 | March 25, 2013 9:40 am

    @ Rodan:

But remember, they are afraid for you to have an AR 15. It’s OK for Islamic terrorists to get heavy weapons, including perhaps Surface to Air missiles. Wonderful foreign policy we have. Obama is going to get Americans killed. That may be by design.

  16. 16 | March 25, 2013 9:44 am

    @ Iron Fist:

This is just crazy. But remember, Obama says Al Qaeda is decimated. I am sure Assad and Hizballah will disagree iwth that.

    @ Rodan:

We lost an Ambassador to that “decimated” al Qaeda. So much fo rthat. All we’ve done is cull the herd a little. Obama isn’t even trying to really stop al Qaeda.

    @ Rodan:

McCain is a traitor. It really is that simple. If he leads the GOP over the gun control cliff, he will succeed in destroying the GOP as a party. We’ll see what really happens. Gun control should be the Third Rail of American politics. People will vote you out of office over it.

If the Republicans sign on to gun control, it will destroy them as a Party. We already can’t trust them to hold the line on spending or taxes. If we can’t trust them to hold the line on gun control, then the risks of going to a Third Party no longer out-weight the potential rewards.

    15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
    17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

I hope Congress passes some meaningful gun control laws, especially when it comes to assualt weapons that are only good for wiping out a mass of people and taking the guess work out of duck hunting.

This person got all the talking points down by leftists in the just this last paragraph!!!

Not to mention the paper has been printing more crimes that are done by guns. Hmmmm? I say. These were crimes done in other states that usually don’t get reported here nor even on Fox News or other places it normally stays local to the state it happened in. One day this week-end a whole page was devoted to crimes committed by guns. If you weren’t looking carefully you wouldn’t have noticed it. Not to mention all the crimes were committed in other states. Not here.

Duck hunting doesn’t require guess work. It requires skill.

You mean the illegals who suck off the US public tit and the homos who politicize their deviancy?

    kardashians, hollywood, honeybooboo, reality shows…

I’ve heard of them, but never watched. Mind numbing crap I assume. This started with MTV’s “Real World” me thinks. Caught my brother watching that tripe once and told him to “join the army or the marines and you’ll get all the reality you can handle.”

    @ lobo91:

Remember, this is OK since they are taking guns away from people who shouldn’t have them… like anyone they deem shouldn’t have them…

    tax payers
    christians
    pro-lifers

    The usual wacko’s….

    @ Iron Fist:

Charlie Crist supports Destination Resorts Casino. That makes him more Pro Market than Skeletor.

The Florida Republican Party is anti-business and I can not support them.

    @ MikeA:

Right. Nobody want mentally unstable people to have guns, but the problem is, there’s no objective standard as to who’s prohibited.
