Obama Regime says No Fly Zone an option in Syria; FBI release pictures of two suspects

The Bi-Partisan treachery of America to Islam continues.  Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told a Senate committee that the establishment of a no fly zone in Syria is a possibility. This follows up the announcement that US troops are set to deploy to Jordan. All this is being done to assist al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood against Assad.

Establishing a no-fly zone near Syria could be an option for the Pentagon and White House to end the civil war in Syria, but it could come at significant cost to American forces.

The creation of a no-fly zone, either along the Turkish or Jordanian border with Syria, is a “possibility” for the Obama administration, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told lawmakers.

[….]

Something is happening, something is going on,” Levin said after Wednesday’s Senate committee hearing on the situation in Syria. That military pressure could result in the creation of the no-fly zone or additional deployments of Patriot missile systems in Turkey or Jordan, Levin said at the time.

While Clapper refused to go into details regarding his conversations on Syria with the White House, his comments on Thursday seem to indicate the administration is leaning toward the no-fly zone option.

I was pleased with it,” committee ranking member Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) told the Hill after Thursday’s hearing, noting he was somewhat surprised with Clapper’s comments.

The notion of a no-fly zone near Syria has gained traction among Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill in recent months.

This is just disgraceful and an insult to Americans. Both parties have sold out Americans to support an Islamic terror organization at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. I am done with the whole Republican vs. Democrats charade game. I am not telling others how to vote, but as of this writing I am not voting for either party.  I refuse to support allies of al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood with my vote. Syria is a litmus test for me and both parties have failed.

The FBI has released pictures of the 2 suspects from the Boston Marathon terror attack.

Suspect 1 Suspect 2
You best bet these two are affiliated with the same people our Bi-Partisan elite want to go to war for in Syria.

Out of the box speculation. Maybe this is Hizb’Allah/Iran in retaliation for our support of al-Qaeda. The light skin guy with the big nose can pass for Lebanese and the darker skinned guy can look Persian.

    Just a thought.

from a still pic I agree. There are others that have been released. One shows the guy in the white hate from his left side. It shows a beard that I think is fake.

However if you see the video of them actually moving you can tell a lot. A person’s gait can be quite telling. Any cop will tell you that – rapists key onto women who appear vulnerable by the way they walk and counselers tell women to walk with assertiveness. But it’s difficult. One’s gait is difficult to alter.

Years ago I was taking a smoke break outside the Prado in Madrid. I realized I could pick out all the Americans by the way they walked. I did test it – I asked. Made one mistake. He was an Aussie.

In Germany and Austria we don’t have abortion after the first trimester and IF there is a case then two different independent teams of phycicians and ethic specialists have to agree for such an abortion (e.g. if the life of the mother is in danger or or if the child would be born with extreme disability – but such circumstances are very rare).

as is tradition, the citizenry of bellefonte, pa will gather at the penitentiary for his execution, electric skillets in hand.

If he isn’t killed before that…very bad men don’t like men like Gosnell…the only way he will every see the electric chair is if he lives a long time (already 70) and in protective custody.

No, he didn’t. A commander who misuses his stuff to make jokes about members of the civil and freely elected government (if one likes this government or not) in front of a journalist lacks a) leadership and b) military ethics.

I have never served in the military but most of my family and many friends have. My understanding is that McChrystal’s leadership skills were/are legion. There are people on this blog who may know differently.

As far as trusting a journalist, I’ll give you that one. Altho if memory serves – and I’m not making excuses – I believe I read that quotes in that article were later found to be fabricated.

Britain And France Inform U.N. Syria Used Chemical Weapons Against Rebels…

Britain and France have informed the United Nations that there is credible evidence that Syria used chemical weapons on more than one occasion since December, according to senior diplomats and officials briefed on the accounts.

In letters to U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, the two European powers said soil samples, witness interviews and opposition sources support charges that nerve agents were used in and around the cities of Aleppo, Homs and possibly Damascus, the officials said, speaking on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

    Project Exile

Project Exile was a federal program started in Richmond, Virginia in 1997. Project Exile shifted the prosecution of illegal technical gun possession offenses to federal court, where they carried a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in federal prison under the federal Gun Control Act of 1968, rather than in state court. Note that federal law (18 U.S.C. sec. 922 & 924) provides for a penalty of ten years in federal prison for being a “prohibited person” i.e. a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, as well as for falsifying information in order to obtain one, or furnishing a gun to a convicted felon.

The program has since been copied by several other cities, sometimes under other names. In Atlanta, for example, the program was known as FACE 5 (Firearms in Atlanta Can Equal 5 years in federal prison).

The program was designed to address the gang violence which had plagued Richmond. At the time of its inception, the level of murders and shootings had regularly increased each year, with Richmond’s murder-per-capita rates being one of the highest five for the country.

Project Exile was named for the idea that if the police catch a criminal in Richmond with a gun in a crime, the criminal has forfeited his right to remain in this community, the criminal will face immediate federal prosecution and stiff mandatory federal prison sentences (often five years), and will be “exiled” to federal prison for five years.

Within the first year (1997-1998) Project Exile resulted in:
372 persons indicted for Federal gun violations.
    440 illegally possessed guns seized.
300 persons arrested or held in State custody.
222 arrestees (more than 74 percent) held without bond.
    247 persons convicted.
196 persons sentenced to an average of 55 months of imprisonment.

An extensive public outreach and media campaign to educate citizens about lengthy Federal prison sentences for gun crimes and to maximize deterrence was also a critical component of Project Exile.

It only works if it’s actually enforced. Mandatory minimum sentences are fine, but you first have to charge the person and then convict them.

Way too many cases are plea-bargained down to charges that don’t have mandatory prison terms. That was the key element of Project Exile. They got the prosecutors to agree that they weren’t going to entertain plea bargains.

Television hosts, editorial boards, and even some reporters have aggressively criticized and shamed the 46 Senators who opposed the plan, while some have even taken to actively soliciting the public to contact them directly.

The decision by some members of the media to come down so firmly on one side of a policy debate has only served to reinforce conservatives’ longstanding suspicions that the mainstream media has a deep-seated liberal bias.

“I guess the liberal media get annoyed when Senators listen to their constituents and think for themselves, rather than doing the media’s bidding,” Bill Kristol, the editor-in-chief of the Weekly Standard, told POLITICO.

”It’s clearly biased and unmistakably ideological,” said John Podhoretz, the conservative New York Post columnist. “These outlets can do what they do want, but nobody should kid themselves about what they’re doing.”

After you buy it, though, you have to pay for taxes…utilities…insurance…

Forgot about that too! Plus not many police and no street lights and high crime. Scary even if you could afford insurance and taxes which would be cheap with no house note.

it is fairly common for terror attacks to go unclaimed, it heightens the terror, as it were

    Sorry, but that’s not true.

I spent a significant portion of my military career working with nuclear weapons. Nobody has the ability to circumvent the PAL system.

At one time SSBN captains did, but no longer.

OK I yield to your experience, but come on you said it your self why did they not take credit? your a smart guy, you may not like the answer but you already know it.

MSNBC Chief Calls Fox News A “Disgrace” For Not Covering All Of Obama’s Gun Bill Defeat Speech…

MSNBC chief Phil Griffin laid into Fox News for skipping President Obama’s gun control speech on Wednesday.

After the Senate failed to pass a proposal for expanded background checks, Obama held a late-afternoon press conference to express his dissatisfaction. Broadcast networks including ABC, CBS and NBC interrupted their regular programming to bring viewers the press conference. MSNBC and CNN did the same. Fox News, however, did not air the press conference at all and kept with its regular programming, “The Five.”

The New York Times’ Brian Stelter reported on Thursday about Fox News’ decision, in which Griffin called the move “a disgrace.”

That’s probably because FNC is actually a news organization, rather than a propaganda outlet for the White House. I’m sure they were taping it and would have cut away if he’d said anything newsworthy (which he didn’t).
