This is part one of what I believe to be the best movie adaptation of the Jonathon Swift Novel produced. Staring Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, it was produced by Jim Henson, (of Muppet fame.) Through its two parts, we actually get to see all four worlds visited by Dr. Lemuel Gulliver, (Lilliput is usually the only world we get to see in the movies.) It is also very true to the book, at least as far a television would allow such an interpretation of Swift’s often risque writings.
