RS McCain smacks down Sharpton and the Jazz Man

by Rodan ( 64 Comments › )
Filed under Blogwars, Censorship, Democratic Party, Fascism, LGF, Leftist-Islamic Alliance, Liberal Fascism, Political Correctness, Progressives at August 29th, 2010 - 5:42 pm

Robert Stacy McCain never bites his tongue for no one. He has a piece at his blog, where he gives Black National Socialist, Al Sharpton a good beat down.

Joyce White arrived at a what she called a counter-march to Fox News host Glenn Beck’s rally. She came to remember the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech but also to show her opposition to Beck.
“If we hadn’t elected a black president, do you think they would be doing this today?”
she asked. . . .
The bleachers
[at the Dunbar High football field] still weren’t filled 10 minutes before the “Reclaim the Dream” rally organized by the Rev. Al Sharpton was scheduled to start. . . .
Bianca Farmer, a senior at Dunbar High School, received big applause when she told the crowd not to stop at celebrating Obama. “We must be fearful of stopping there,” she said. “The fight is not in the same arena as it was 47 years ago but the fight lives on.” . . .
Representatives are here from various District political campaigns, labor unions and churches . . .
The Rev. Al Sharpton
said in an interview before he spoke to thousands at his rally in Northwest Washington that “people are clear in what Dr. King’s dream was about and we will not react to those who try to distort that dream.”

RS McCain then gives the Tranzi Totalitarian Progressive IslamiC-Imperialist Collaborator a good smackdown.

The husky ponytailed blogger can’t stand it:

Explaining the specific causes of Charles Johnson’s failure as a writer — his inability to compose persuasive rhetoric, etc. — would be a simple task, but why bother with analysis? Just enjoy the laughs.

The Corpulent Racist and the Corpulent Jazz Man both deserve ridicule and R.S McCain provides just that!

The Washington Post notices the blogospheres role in the anti Mosque controversy and Charles Johnson gets a brief paragraph mention

by Speranza ( 260 Comments › )
Filed under LGF, Media, Political Correctness at August 19th, 2010 - 1:00 pm

The entire quote from Charles Johnson is at the bottom of this thread in bold, but as  others have pointed out – you can bet he went on one of his increasingly vitriolic rants against Geller and Spencer. Also note how the article is entitled -”anti Muslim conservatives” – originally entitled “In flap over mosque near Ground Zero, conservative writers gaining influence.” That is a straw man argument, the opposition to the Mosque is based on its appropriateness on a site next door to the WTC.

hat tip – Spitfire Murphy aka loppyd and Jihad Watch

by Michelle Boorstein

Long before President Obama waded into the vociferous debate over a mosque near Ground Zero, a group of conservative writers and bloggers critical of Islam had seized on the issue and helped transform it into a national political spectacle.

While some have dismissed them as bigoted attention-seekers, their attacks on the proposed Islamic center in Lower Manhattan have gained currency in recent weeks among some Republican leaders. And their influence appears to be growing.

They are organizing a Sept. 11 rally against the mosque that will feature former U.S. House speaker Newt Gingrich. They advise the FBI and other government security agencies on the threats posed by Islamic radicalism, headline “tea party” events and attract millions of readers concerned or curious about Islam to Web sites with names such as Jihad Watch, Creeping Sharia and Stop Islamization of America.

“People on the Hill, their staff read these sites, they show their bosses. . . . They push these subjects into the spotlight, often at a time when major media isn’t doing that,” said Cliff May, a columnist and former spokesman for the Republican National Committee who runs a think tank focused on religious extremism and religious freedom.

The most colorful — and perhaps most visible — activist at the moment is Pam Geller, a former New York Observer publisher who has appeared in a bikini and a super-tight Superman costume challenging Islam.

Through her blog, Atlas Shrugs, television interviews and appearances at political rallies, Geller has become one of the chief organizers of opposition to the so-called Ground Zero mosque as well as efforts to build other Muslim prayer centers across the country.

Republican leaders including Sarah Palin, House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Gingrich have condemned the $100 million Park 51 Islamic Cultural Center, while Obama and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg (I) have defended it. On Wednesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) added more fuel to the fire by saying she supports an investigation into how opposition to the mosque is being funded.

[...]

Charles Johnson, creator of the national security blog Little Green Footballs, called Spencer and Geller “very influential.” Listening to Gingrich’s comments about Islamic law, he said, “Newt sounded a lot like he got it from Pam Geller.”

Never mind which level of Hell they’re on…
Charles Foster “Icarus” Johnson found himself, face down in the unholy dirt, and thought he would just pick himself up, get back on his bicycle, and resume riding. But neither his bike, nor his camera, were anywhere in sight.
Neither, for that matter, was the Sun. He saw nothing but…fire and screams of tortured souls.
He gasped. Charles was in Hell. He continued to get up. As he did so, someone dressed in a seemingly familiar olive drab military uniform, walked up to him and smacked him so forcefully, he knocked Johnson back to the ground.
“What the Hell was that for?” asked Johnson.
“Don’t you recognize me? I’ve waited a long time for traitorous scum like you! See this stick?”
Johnson saw it immediately…it was his legendary Banning Stick!
“I am here,” said Saddam Hussein, “to show you the error of your ways.” He kicked the blogger in the gonads, and Charles writhed in agonizing pain. “You unnecessarily banned thousands of good people who were willing to fight the good fight…even though they were on the other side!”
“Why the hell should I care about those stalkers?” sneered Charles, who had managed to get back up on his knees. “They haven’t done anything for me!”
“Bullshit!” exclaimed Saddam. “They drove your web traffic and brought YOU untold adoration and recognition. Don’t you remember your Jewish designation as a ‘Righteous Gentile’? You even turned your back on those filthy Zionists!”
“To Hell with them!” shouted Charles.
“And that is why you are here,” said Saddam. He shouted, “Uday! Qusay! Hold him down as I execute Our Infernal Leader’s special dispensation!” The two sons ripped Johnson’s biking pants off him, and locked him in place, face down, as Saddam began disemboweling Charles Foster “Icarus” Johnson with his own Banning Stick.

Gedankenexperiment

by snork ( 217 Comments › )
Filed under LGF, Leftist-Islamic Alliance, Political Correctness, Progressives at August 11th, 2010 - 8:30 pm

The amazing Ground Zero mosque thread, which resulted in several flounces, including well-known, and well-liked old-timer Judith (of Regina, SK), poses a hypothetical question. The moonbats seem to have discovered a newfound respect for private property rights and for religion and religious leaders.

So here’s the Gedanken (thought) experiment:

1. There’s a Baptist church, where the pastor is known to be connected to a shadowy group that advocates bombing abortion clinics.

2. The pastor explicitly denied supporting abortion clinic bombing when interviewed by the press. He says that he wants to be a part of the community, and reach out to people providing abortions.

3. The pastor hints obliquely in his sermons that anyone bombing an abortion clinic will be looked upon kindly by God.

4. A member of his congregation bombs an abortion clinic in town, killing all of the staff and patients.

5. The pastor decides to open a church across the street from the now defunct clinic, and purchases the land, and secures all the requisite permits.

6. Despite the mayor and city council being completely in favor of the project, the townspeople don’t want it by 60-40%.

So here’s the question: should this church be allowed to build in that location? Consider the following: 1) Separation of Church and State, 2) private property rights, 3) religious sensibilities, 4) relations between the church and the abortion-providing community, 5) respect for religion.

Think hard, proggies.

Addedum by Daedalus:

The Jazz Man is once again spinning poll numbers. A recent Marist poll of New York City voters shows that a majority oppose the 9/11 Ground Zero Islamic Colonial center. Rather than take into account the desires of New Yorkers, he puts his little spin on things. In a blatant sign of intellectual dishonesty, he harps on the fact a majority of Manhattanites support this abomination.

Does anyone notice the gap between the question and the results. Well here is the whole poll the Jazz Man is hiding.

The fact remains that 53% OF NY registered voters oppose the 9/11 Ground Zero islamic Colonial center. WHat the Jazz Man does is a typical elitist view, that only the opinion of Manhattan residents count. What this fraud doesn’t tell you is that vast majority of workers in Manhattan, live in the Outer Boroughs or the suburbs. Another fact the Jazz Man doesn’t says is that the majority of New York City residents, live outside of the Progressive paradise of Manhattan.

You are reading this correctly, out of a total population in New York City of close to 8.4 Million, 1.6 live in Manhattan. That comes out to around 20% of the total population. In the elitist viewpoint of the Jazz Man, the opinion of the other 80% of New York City residents don’t count. Never mind they pay taxes and work in Manhattan, he has the limousine liberal attitude that the NYC outer boroughs are just serfs who must bow to the demands of their Manhattan overlords. Sorry Charlie, as a former resident of Queens it doesn’t work that way.

This is just another example of his intellectual dishonesty and a failed attempt to smear the NY Post.

Protocols of the Sophomoric Juveniles of Johnsonville

by snork ( 219 Comments › )
Filed under Anti-semitism, LGF, Leftist-Islamic Alliance, Progressives at August 4th, 2010 - 7:00 pm

The discourse at the loony-left wing/jihadi blog known as Little Green Footballs is taking a turn hard to the left and directly into naked antisemitism. At the Diaries of Daedalus, a comment from that blog was highlighted, deflecting criticism of a clear hate crime against Swedish Jews.

It’s a matter of record that Charles Johnson has explicitly forbidden any of his registered commenters from writing comments at any “right” blogs, or even chatting at table 9.

It therefore follows that any registered user there who comments at the Blogmocracy or Daedalus, and isn’t immediately banned, is doing so under the specific dispensation of Mr. Johnson himself. There are three regular commenters at LGF who have done so, and not had their accounts canceled. They are Killgore Trout, Reginald Perrin, and “spacejesus”. This “spacejesus” character left the following quote at LGF, which was featured in a thread at Daedalus.

So far, no violation of Mr. Johnson’s rules (though SJ clearly had violated them in the past), but then SJ came to Daedalus to defend this comment. Now, there’s no doubt that this is with the express permission and approval of Mr. Johnson.

spacejesus said,

ON AUGUST 2, 2010 ON 9:55 PM

oh, and one more thing,

you say “swedish papers” but it was only one tabloid that ran the story and all the major papers in sweden told them they were dumb to run it.

also, the story turned out to be true. an israeli doctor was really taking organs out of dead palestinians without permission from their families. whatever, i don’t see that as a big deal seeing as how folks don’t use those organs after theyre dead anyway.

Of course, this is thoroughly refuted here and here.

Thus, what we have here is someone, with the explicit permission of Mr. Johnson, spreading blood libels against the State of Israel, and indeed the Jews of the world. Buzzsawmonkey notes:

buzzsawmonkey said,

ON AUGUST 3, 2010 ON 9:46 AM

I note that the bigot “spacejesus” has misquoted the organ harvest story even from his own source, Wikipedia. The bigot says that “Palestinians” were being targeted for organ harvest; the Wiki article distinctly states that any body that ended up in the lab was fair game—Jew or non-Jew (including, of course, Arabs; but they were in no way targeted).

Of course, it is only because this occurred in Israel, and only because it involved a Jew, that this should become “international news” such as would be covered by a Swedish paper, at all. Scandals about organ use/purloining occur intermittently at various places around the globe—indeed, organ harvesting seems to be practically a minor industry in China. There is a brief flurry of coverage, someone is disciplined, and then the kidneys start rolling again.

The only reason the Swedes picked up this story about one crooked doctor is that organ-harvesting libels have been constantly leveled at the Jews of Israel by the Arabs, who know that a Europe raised on blood libels will gladly buy into such tales as a further excuse to demonize Israel.

That the bigot “spacejesus” could and would thoroughly misquote the story from his own source, and buy into its blood libel aspects, shows that he is no friend to the truth, to Jews, or to Israel—whatever he may obliquely attempt to claim about his ancestry.

It’s true that, as the saying goes, “on the internet, nobody knows you’re a dog”. And that being the case, nobody knows that anyone claiming to be a Jew, or a law student, or a physicist really is. So as illegitimate as SJ’s “imajew” defense is, even if it were true, it can’t be verified. For all we know, SJ is a jihadi in Gaza.

So with this, Israel moves significantly closer to the bus at LGF. They still, laughably, pretend to be a Zionist blog. But we all know the Johnson rules; he expects all other blogs to patrol their speech brutally. So he can’t hide behind “free speech” and the appeal to the open mind on this one. Johnson is complicit in this blood libel.

Mr. Johnson, you have one final chance to clear these charges. Ban spacejesus and apologize to the Jews of the world for his libel. If you ignore this, you own these comments, and you own the label of antisemite. You join the ranks of everyone from Julius Streicher to David Duke to Pat Buchanan to Louis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright, just to list a few members of the odious club. Speak now, or don’t complain when reminded later that you didn’t.

‘Anti-Islamic’ bus ads appear in major cities, thanks to Pam Geller

by Bob in Breckenridge ( 99 Comments › )
Filed under Dhimmitude, History, Islam, Islamic Invasion, Islamic Terrorism, Islamists, LGF, Leftist-Islamic Alliance, Terrorism at July 30th, 2010 - 8:30 am

A great lady, Pamela Geller, is involved in this, so a certain JEALOUS, fat ass, washed-up, semi-successful, has-been jazz musician (with a hideous pony-tail), turned inconsequential left-wing blogger, named Nancy something or other, won’t be happy, since she hates everything Christian and/or Jewish, since us “neanderthals” have the gall to believe in God, rather than Darwin!

A group called ‘Stop Islamization of America’ is promoting ads on major city public transportation that urge people to leave the Muslim faith. The anti-Islamic campaign is sparking thought about the religion’s place in American society.

The growing debate over Islam’s place in America, which is escalating in light of plans to build a mosque near ground zero, is increasingly playing out on city streets across the country. On the sides of buses, to be precise.

Several groups are engaging in something of a religious ad war over the merits and misconceptions of Islam, a religion that remains a mystery to many Americans.

Ads by a group calling itself Stop Islamization of America, which aims to provide refuge for former Muslims, read: “Fatwa on your head? Is your family or community threatening you? Leaving Islam? Got questions? Get answers!”

Those ads, appearing on dozens of buses in the San Francisco Bay Area, Miami, and New York, are a response to ones from a Muslim group that say, “The way of life of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. Islam. Got questions? Get answers.”

[...]

A self-described “anti-jihadist,” Pamela Geller is the conservative blogger and executive director of Stop Islamization of America who conceived of the “Leaving Islam” ad campaign. Her bus posters, she says, were partly inspired by the ongoing Florida case involving a teenage girl who ran away from her Muslim parents after converting to Christianity. The girl, Rifqa Bary, made headlines last year when she claimed her father threatened to kill her for becoming a Christian.

Ms. Geller described her campaign as “a defense of religious freedom,” in an e-mail response to questions. The goal, she says, is mainly “to help ex-Muslims who are in trouble” and also “to raise awareness of the threat that apostates live under even in the West.”

But some religious rights organizations contend that the real intent is to incite fear about a faith that, according to recent studies, remains misunderstood. A 2009 poll by the Pew Research Center found that 38 percent believe Islam is more likely to encourage violence than other religions.

Charles Johnson wrongly attacks concerned parents

by Daedalus ( 169 Comments › )
Filed under Blogwars, LGF, Progressives at July 28th, 2010 - 6:48 pm

I’m sorry to post on this, but I feel Charles Johnson has crossed a line.

Parents associated with the 9/12 movement recently had a book removed named: Revolutionary Voices: A Multicultural Queer Youth Anthology. This book promotes “alternate lifestyles” for the youth. I’m a Libertarian leaning Conservative, but there are limits. I would not like a book promoting irresponsible heterosexual sex among the young either, so the fact it’s about youth homosexuality is irrelevant. Do teenagers have sex, yup I was one that did. The issue is whether we promote this behaviors or educate them on the dangers of unprotected sex, STD’s and the risks of Pregnancies. This book is not that, it is glorifying irresponsible sex to young people. The parents took a stand and they are within their rights.

Take a look at some of the chapters:

Concerned parents who also are members of the 9/12 movement, asked the Burlington County Library System to remove it. These parents were in their right. However, because of their affiliation with Glenn becks and his 9/12 movement, Charles Johnson attacked them.

In the sick twisted mind of Charles Johnson, parents don’t have a right to be against a book that promotes irresponsible behavior and is classified as a Child Porn book. To him, standing up to  groups promoting radical agenda, is censorship. Clearly this man has had no children and understand what it’s like being a parent. The title alone implies Progressive radicalism and not a mainstream book for Teens.

Charles Johnson has crossed a line due to his hate of Glenn Beck. Rather than analyze the situation, he let his hate get the better of him. The obscure mediocre 70′s/80′s Jazz Musician will even defend a radical book that is classified as Child porn

I apologize to everyone on the blog for this post, but I feel he is wrong to attack concerned parents and needs to be called on it.

Monday Afternoon Afro Cuban Jazz Session

Before the Totalitarian Progressive regime of Fidel Castro came to flower, Cuba was on the map culturally. It’s music and food was known the world over and millions of Americans visited the island. The one brand of music that came from Cuba and was widely accepted globally was Afro Cuban Jazz music. This music fused traditional Afro-Caribbean music with African American style Jazz. It made for great rhythm and many of these songs still sound good today. One group that is popular even today is the Buena Vista Social Club.

They even did a tribute to Argentine Progressive killer Che Guevara

Amazing songs by real Jazz musicians!

Of all the ubiquitous “Demotivational Posters” found all over teh internest, this one is my favorite by far. This exact thing happened to me the day I got an account over at The Swamp, and I didn’t even know it happened at the time.

Fortunately I was banned rather quickly  before the tentacles had the chance to worm into my morsus mihi, and I enjoyed a rather painless recovery.  My eviction from The Village didn’t stop me from visiting, but it certainly piqued my curiosity about “The Stalkers,” and this blog in particular. My opinion changed instantly, and without touching the insanity wood.

My story is not unique, but an Overnight Open Thread is. Go ahead. Touch the wood. I dare you.
