Tolerance or a sign of submission?

I’m not even sure what I can say about this article that won’t get me into trouble. WE shouldn’t be the ones that try to “prove American tolerance”. How about they PROVE TO US THAT THEY CAN LIVE PEACEFULLY AMONG NON-MUSLIMS?!

This makes me sick.

NEW YORK (CBS) ― In a building damaged by debris from the Sept. 11 airliners that brought down the World Trade Center and soon to become a 13-story mosque, some see the bridging of a cultural divide and an opportunity to serve a burgeoning, peaceful religious population. Others see a painful reminder of the religious extremism that killed their loved ones.

Anything having to do with that day, that place, carries enormous meaning. Now two Islamic organizations have partnered to build something that they say will bring some good from something very bad.

Organizers say the project will create a venue for mainstream Islam and a counterbalance to radicalism. It earned a key endorsement this week from influential community leaders.

“This is a community center, a community and cultural center, which would include certainly prayer space for Muslims and we hope for non-Muslims as well, to bring about a new discourse in the relationship between the United States, New York City, and the Muslim world,” said Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf of the Cordoba Initiative.

He’s hoping the 13-story, $100 million Islamic center will join the other buildings; the banks, offices, and apartments, going up at ground zero. It will serve a growing Muslim population in lower Manhattan.

The closest mosque to this area is a dozen blocks away and very over-crowded, but this site was also chosen for exactly what happened here on 9/11, and what America stands for, Rauf told CBS station WCBS-TV in New York City.

“Definitely, this is a victory of American tolerance over hatred,” Rauf said.

But some 9/11 victims’ families say the issue isn’t tolerance.

It’s sensitivity.

The poll on that page shows an overwhelming majority of people who have taken the poll think it’s totally inappropriate. I’d like to know in what kind of universe something like that is appropriate.

Tallon wants to teach her son, Paddy, to be tolerant of other religions. But she wonders if other religions, like Islam, are teaching their children to be tolerant of hers. There are other places in the city, she said, for another mosque.

“I don’t think that they would build a German cultural center right near Auschwitz. Just because you’re looking at what happened to the people that died there. That’s all that should be focused on,” Tallon said.

Amen sister.

UK to Bita Ghaedi: Take your chances

by m ( 71 Comments › )
Filed under Iran, Multiculturalism, UK at May 5th, 2010 - 3:00 pm

Even when we think that the UK is waking up to the threat of Islamic terrorism, we find cases like this one that shows us just how twisted some of their officials line of thinking is.

An Iranian civil rights activist who is due to be deported from the UK tomorrow could face the death penalty and fears being murdered by her family in an “honour killing” if she is sent back to Iran, according to her British partner.

Bita Ghaedi, 34, fled Iran to the UK in 2005 to escape a forced marriage and in fear of her family discovering she had a secret lover. She has since spoken out against sharia law, forced marriage and human rights abuses in her homeland and has been filmed criticising the regime for TV channels widely available across the Middle East. She is currently in Yarl’s Wood detention centre awaiting deportation, which is scheduled for 7pm tomorrow following the failure of a fresh asylum claim.

They refuse asylum to this woman, but have no problem bringing in radical imams from all over the Islamic world to help radicalize the non-radical. They even welcomed in the Taliban soldier who after fighting against us – sought asylum in Great Britain from the western backed government in Afghanistan. They put out the welcome mat with government benefits for immigrants from all over, but refuse to even acknowledge that this woman is in danger.

It’s crazy.

Today her lawyer received a letter from the Home Office which states: “We do not accept that your client has provided any evidence to show that her life will be at risk on her return to Iran.”

It argues that Ghaedi failed to bring up her part in anti-government protests until she was arrested and detained in May 2009, and concluded that the evidence submitted “did not provide any evidence to show that the Iranian authorities will have any interest in your client on her removal to Iran either because of her alleged adulterous relationship or because of her involvement in anti-regime protest.”

Oh really “Home Office”? Try google sometime.

UPDATE (hattip to justin case!): The high court granted Ghaedi interim relief pending a renewed application to apply for judicial review.

In his ruling, Mr Justice Nicol said that given the “very considerable amount of further information which has been supplied, concerning (in particular) the claimant’s association with Iranian opposition groups and the subsequent publicity given thereto”, the court should hear her renewed application for judicial review.

A hearing has been set for 21 July.

Arrests in attempted car bombings

The bomb plot at Times Square continues to be unraveled. The Pakistani Taliban, which claimed credit, was not bluffing. So far the clues point to them as a Pakistani national named Faisal Shahzad was arrested while trying to the flee the country. This was the man seen in the video that many Leftists hoped was a white American. Well to the Left and some Conservatives’ disappointment and no surprise to those of us who under the totalitarian nature of Islam, it was another act of aggression from the “religion of peace”. Obama’s outreach to the Muslim world has failed and this is just another example.

DUBAI—Dubai-based Emirates Airline said Tuesday that flight EK202 bound for Dubai was called back before taking off from New York and that three passengers were removed from the aircraft as part of an investigation into a failed bomb attempt in Times Square.

“Full security procedures were activated including the deplaning of all passengers and a thorough screening of the aircraft, passengers, and baggage,” an Emirates spokesperson told Zawya Dow Jones. “Emirates is cooperating with the local authorities.”U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said earlier Tuesday that a suspect in the attempted Times Square bomb attempt in New York was arrested trying to board a plane for Dubai. U.S. officials identified the man as Faisal Shahzad, a naturalized U.S. citizen born in Pakistan. Mr. Shahzad was detained at 11:45 p.m. Monday night at John F. Kennedy Airport as he was preparing to fly.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone. What was shocking how many people were trying to deny it was Islamic aggression. As always, the Islamic Imperialists prove those of us who warn about this Ideology correct.

Blogmocracy in Action

Guest Blogger: Kirly

Last Friday, April 23, 2010, Arizona Governor Brewer signed into law SB 1070 (pdf) which exactly mirrors United States Federal Law regarding the presence of illegal aliens in the United States. Essentially, SB 1070 made it illegal for a person to be in Arizona if that person is illegally in the United States of America. There is also a Fact Sheet.

In spite of the fact that the new law explicitly and deliberately states that racial profiling is not allowed, racists, liars, and ideologues all across the country are denigrating Arizona as racist and hate filled. These same racists, liars, and ideologues have started a boycott of The Grand Canyon State. I doubt that will be successful. This is a beautiful state. Call the Arizona Department of Tourism and let them know you support us.

The real victims of racism (up to and including the murder of a rancher near the border) in this situation are the citizens of the State of Arizona. Refried beans were smeared on the doors our our State House of Representatives and our State Senate. “BURN THIS RACIST STATE”, a clear call to violence and destruction, was painted on the sidewalk near our State Capital.

The pictures included here are all downloaded from the azcentral.com website. I use them to prove that many of the activists were bused in from Los Angeles. I show you the masks (think who else wears masks) and the raised fists (remember who did that?) and the hateful signs. I also show you pictures of the crowds (hundreds, not thousands).

I have preserved the picture number from azcentral in the name of each photo in the event you wish to find the original.

Fellow Netizens, my friend Cbullitt of Soylent Green alerted me to an internet-wide blog protest in response to the Censorship of the cable cartoon show “South Park.” The image above, with permission from the designer Chris Muir, is scheduled to show up throughout the blogosphere at midnight tonight. Cbullitt wrote:

“I’m not an artist or Cartoonist, but Chris Muir is and Trey Parker and Matt Stone are. And Theo Van Gough was. Muir, whose work you see above, obviously does not ascribe to the dictum displayed in the cowardice of Comedy Central, the EU, and the U.S. Government under the last four administrations, namely: Feeding the crocodile in hopes that it will eat you last.”

To be truthful, I’ve never seen an episode of  “South Park” although I understand its popularity due to its irreverent humor.  The recent imposition of domestic sharia law on the writers of “South Park” for a joke involving the Prophet Muhammed is inexcusable in the Land of the Free and the Home of the First Amendment.

How the Democrats can avoid a November bloodbath

By Douglas E. Schoen and Patrick H. Caddell
Friday, April 16, 2010

Media reports suggest that President Obama is turning his attention toward the midterm congressional elections. There are a few things it is imperative he understand if he is to, at the least, minimize Democratic losses in November.

We are Democratic pollsters who argued against the health-care legislation ["Democrats' blind ambition," Washington Forum, March 12] that the Obama administration chose to pursue. Instead, we advocated incremental health-care reform. With the passage of health reform, some harsh political realities have emerged.

Recent polling shows that despite lofty predictions that a broad-based Democratic constituency would be activated by the bill’s passage, the bill has been an incontrovertible disaster. The most recent Rasmussen Reports poll, released on April 12, shows that 58 percent of the electorate supports a repeal of the health-care reform bill — up from 54 percent two weeks earlier. Fueling this backlash is concern that health-care reform will drive up health costs and expand the role of government, and the belief that passage was achieved by fundamentally anti-democratic means. Already we are seeing the implications play out with the retirement of Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) — who had effectively become the face of the last-minute, closed-door negotiations that resulted in passage.

Put simply, there has been no bounce, for the president or his party, from passing health care.

In fact, Monday’s Gallup report showed the president’s weekly job approval rating at a low of 47 percent. And as the Democratic Party’s favorability has dropped to 41 percent — the lowest in Gallup’s 18-year history of measuring it — this week’s Rasmussen Reports survey shows the Republican Party with a nine-point lead in the generic congressional vote. Moreover, independents, who are more energized than Democrats, are leaning Republican by a 2-to-1 margin.

Tranzi Progressive against Catholics

by Rodan ( 94 Comments › )
Filed under Leftist-Islamic Alliance, Liberal Fascism, Multiculturalism, Progressives, Tranzis at April 12th, 2010 - 9:00 am

The Roman Catholic Church is under assault from the Totalitarian Progressives. Any wrong done by the Church is magnified and promoted on the news. When it comes to Islam, no matter what is done in the name of this religion excuses are made. Islam openly promotes pedophilia and Mohamed himself was a pedophile. The Church is trying to get rid of the predators in its ranks since it goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ. Rather than being saluted the institution is attacked and mocked.

This article I came across was written from Israel of all places in defense of the Catholic Church. Gil Troy makes a very valid argument and I agree with it. The attacks on the Catholic Church are the same as the attacks on Israel. These are coming from the Tranzi Progressives and their goal is to destroy Israel, Christianity and anything they perceive as Western.

That Israel’s rise has unleashed new waves of hatred against Jews, with Israel as the prime target, is one of Zionism’s greatest disappointments. Our enemies’ injustice and the world’s hypocrisy can be overwhelming. Yet we cannot become addicted to our indignation. Even as the media hypes controversies, we should not take offense at every slight. For that reason, unlike, apparently, most Jews, the sermon by the “Preacher of the Pontifical Household,” Father Raniero Cantalamessa, comparing the attacks on the Catholic Church amid the sexual scandal with the “collective violence” against Jews, made me sad, not angry.

Let me be clear. Priestly sexual abuse is evil. As a professor, a parent and a human being, I am disgusted by the breach of trust, the violence, the perversion and the despicable cover-up. As someone who always keeps my doors open during office hours, and will not even clasp a distressed student’s shoulder to avoid any mixed messaging, I cannot fathom how a preacher or a teacher would abuse the trust invested in us by individuals, their families and society. I am also appalled by the old-boys’ network that enabled these crimes to occur again and again and again.

As both a McGill professor and a Jewish community activist I cannot imagine covering up for any colleague who would sin, let alone so outrageously. I believe in shunning people who behave badly, and have shunned people for much milder offenses. I feel diminished by the priests’ actions and their superiors’ inaction. As a traditionalist I also feel compromised by their crimes, watching the delight too many modern secularists take in seeing the Church supposedly exposed as corrupt.

The Delusions of Islamic Democracy

by Rodan ( 116 Comments › )
Filed under Afghanistan, Iraq, Islamic Supremacism, Islamic Terrorism, Israel, Middle East, Multiculturalism, Sharia (Islamic Law) at April 11th, 2010 - 2:30 pm

One of the biggest pretexts that was used to justify staying in Afghanistan and in Iraq after our initial victory was that we should establish Democracies there and nurture it. The theory that was invented by Neo-Wilsonian Academics was that if democracy was established in those places, it would spread like wildfire in the Islamic World. Although the theorists were well meaning and were using the collapse of the Communist block as an example. They apparently didn’t know the history of Dar Al Islam. They thought freedom and free markets appeal to these people. They were wrong and many Americans died over this Muslim Democracy project.

Lee Smith has written a book on Islamic political thinking called The Strong Horse: Power, Politics, and the Clash of Arab Civilizations .  He thoroughly debunks the Muslim Democracy concept, as well as the blame Israel ideology of the Left. He explains that Muslims value violence and it is a natural part of their politics. The Arab Muslims love a strong man and admire the conquests/genocidal wars their ancestors perpetrated on other people. Democracy is meaningless to them.

Smith develops six central insights in his book.

Arab political history is a history of the powerful ruling the weak through violence.

Islamic terror and governmental tyranny are the two sides of the coin of Arab political pathology.

Liberal democratic principles are unattractive to the vast majority of Arabs who believe that politics is and by rights ought to remain a violent enterprise and prefer the narrative of resistance to the narrative of liberty.

Liberal Arab reformers are unwilling to fight for their principles.

Read the rest: Israel the Strong Horse

Although the article is mostly about how Israel must not show weakness, the part about Islamic political thinking is revealing. I recommend this book to anyone who still believes that the loss of American blood and treasure is justified in imposing Democracy in the Middle East. This concept has met the reality of the Islamic world. Dar AL Islam is not the Old Soviet Union or Imperial Japan. It is an even more evil entity that has led to the exterminations of millions through the centuries. America must confront this threat, but not in the name of Democracy. We must smash them, humiliate them, take resources and leave. The Muslims only respect strength and that is the truth.

Canada rejecting Islamic Cultural Imperialism

by Rodan ( 71 Comments › )
Filed under Dhimmitude, Islamic Invasion, Islamic Supremacism, Leftist-Islamic Alliance, Multiculturalism, Progressives at April 8th, 2010 - 2:00 pm

Canada was under Progressive control for nearly 14 years until 2006. That election brought Stephen Harper into power. Since then, Canada has gone against its former Tranzi Progressive foreign policy. Canada is clearly in the anti-Islamic Imperialist camp by supporting Israel and India. The change is also occurring on a cultural level. Under the Leftist regime, the Islamic colonization of Canada increased dramatically. From a population of 253,265 in 1991 on the eve of the Progressive takeover, it is now at 800,000 or 2.5% of the population. With this increase numbers, the Imperialist are attempting to impose cultural supremacy. However, Canadians are fighting back and want the Niqab banned!

Introduced last week, Bill 94 is the first legislation in North America to place a de facto ban on any religious face coverings in any government building—including within the walls of every government-subsidized high school, CEGEP and university in Quebec.

Quebecers have risen in support of the bill, and in a rare show of national unity rivalling even that seen during the recent Olympics, the rest of the country is largely behind them, according to a recent Angus Reid poll, which found that 95 per cent of Quebecers, and three out of four of non-Quebecers, approved of Bill 94. The issue has brought together the governing Conservatives and the Liberals, both of which were quick to endorse the bill, while even the Bloc Québécois (no friend of the current Quebec government) agreed with certain aspects of the law, albeit tepidly. Even certain Muslim groups praised Bill 94 as an example of moderation.

“Two words: uncovered face,” said Quebec Premier Jean Charest last week, after tabling Bill 94. “The principle is clear.” His national assembly colleagues were even more unequivocal. Cabinet minister Christine St-Pierre called religious face coverings “ambulatory prisons,” while Parti Québécois immigration critic Louise Beaudoin said any religious head coverings, not just the niqab or the more restrictive burka, are examples of “submission of women, of regression, and a subjugation of all our freedoms.” Bill 94, Beaudoin says, is “anemic.” Translation: the bill doesn’t go nearly far enough.

I salute my Canadian brothers in their resistance to this cultural Imperialism. This should give Americans hope that Progressive domination doesn’t always lead towards national suicide. Hopefully America will follow Canada’s lead and resist Islamic Cultural Imperialism.

Islamic Sex Toy Store

You heard that right, complete with separate men’s and woman’s entrances to the website, which is temporarily down, because it’s been overwhelmed with traffic, the shop, El Asira, is billed as “the first halal ’sex shop’.”

Founder Abdelaziz Aouragh, 29, claims to have consulted with an unnamed Saudi sheik in order to receive a fatwa authorizing the sale of sex toys to married Muslim couples. The products sold on El Asira’s websites do not use animal fats and the website does not display any images of men or women.

Use of animal fats in sex is halal? Whoda thunk? Maybe he doesn’t know the trick about selling the used oil in the next town.

However, one thing is for sure — El Asira is not the first company to market adult toys in the Muslim world. Tupperware-like sex toy parties (Français) have been taking place in Morocco for years.

Oh, Ducky, you devil. So what does a good Muslim do with a duck, class?

Belgium to ban the Burqa

by Rodan ( 140 Comments › )
Filed under Europe, Islamic Invasion, Islamic Supremacism, Leftist-Islamic Alliance, Multiculturalism, Sharia (Islamic Law) at March 31st, 2010 - 5:00 pm

In a blow to Islamic Colonialism, Belgium is set to ban the Burqa. This garment is a symbol of Imperialist aggression and an imposition of foreign values on the Belgians. Europe has tolerated an invasion whose openly stated goal is to conquer the continent in the name of Dar-Al-Islam for too long. They claim it’s religious. In reality it’s a political statement to announce Islamic supremacism. It goes against European Culture and should not be allowed.

Belgium is set to take a key step today towards banning full Islamic veils from being worn in public places. A committee of MPs is expected to back the move which would then face a bigger vote in parliament. Belgium would become the first country in Europe to outlaw the burqa and niqab from its streets.

Read the rest: Belgium moves to ban the burqa

The Burqa ia also a means to suppress women and it’s due to Muslim men being sexually insecure as they prefer young boys. It’s this lack of sexual confidence that is the reason their women are oppressed. This doesn’t belong in a western nation and Belgium will hopefully ban this Totalitarian symbol.
