The Panic Room, Beware of the Jihadi Art Critic!

With all of the coverage of Jihad Jane, I went looking for the ‘offending art’ that caused this murder plot and fatwas and rewards for the murder of Lars Vilks. Vilks did some drawings of dogs with ‘the Prophet’ Mohamed’s head on them. Apparently, in Sweden they put metal art dogs in the grassy bit in the middle of the roundabout to spruce the joint up, here is wiki’s entry for ’roundabout dogs’ . The Roundabout Dogs even have their own website! Here are some of Lars Vilks’ drawings of his roundabout dogs, for your artistic enjoyment:

Well, these drawings got the Jihadi art world, yet again, all in a tizzie of loud barking of fatwas, death threats, and SEETHING! The seething has become so intense that a new trend among the European Aritists has started.  This trend can be traced all the way back to Mr Rushdie. The Artists who are critiqued and followed by the Jihadi art crowd are building Panic Rooms. I guess those Jihadi art critics just love to track down and hound their artists all hours of the day and night! And it looks like some of the editors and reporters in Swedish papers want to get in on this latest art world trend trend as well. This editorial will fetch a lot of attention from the Jihadi art crowd.

Following alleged plot to murder artist who drew cartoon depicting Prophet Muhammad with body of a dog, Swedish newspapers publish it to take stance for freedom of speech. ‘A threat against him is, in the long term, also a threat against all Swedes,’ one paper says

Look for ‘Panic Room Monthly’ magazine in a shop near you! I would recommend some  furnishings from the Kalashnikov Line and Colt Collection guys. They work with any decor, even Ikea!

Of course there are other works that the Jihadi art crowd has strained at the leash over, Salman Rushdie and Kurt Westergaard come to mind immediately. Artists in America don’t have such friendly and loyal followers or the opportunity to have their very own Panic Room; all that  Andres Serrano got for his ‘Piss Christ’ was a debate over funding by the National Endowment of the Arts, some art reviews, and a few angry protesters. Perhaps if Serrano tries a little harder and does some edgy Mo art, he too can have his very own pack of Jihadi art critics pawing at his door to see his brand new Panic Room!

Obama – the Gift that Keeps on Giving – to the Saudis

If he can’t ruin the country through bold legislative initiatives, he’ll do it through executive moves. Under the radar, he has extended the offshore drilling ban from six months to the rest of his term.

The Obama administration’s six-month delay in approving new offshore drilling leases in federal waters will become a new three-year ban, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar quietly told reporters last Friday. Which means that no new oil and gas leases will be approved during President Obama’s term even though two –thirds of the American public supports such activity, according to a December 2009 Rasmussen poll.

One of the lies that the administration and the supporters of cap-and-trade spread routinely is that it will reduce dependence on foreign oil. Why that isn’t true is a subject for another thread  another time (short version: it’ll kill our domestic coal industry long before it’ll start doing anything to oil imports). But what makes this doubly dishonest is that with the economy in tatters, and oil breaking $80/bbl, this asshole president is making sure that we continue to send our weak currency overseas in vast torrents.

I might consider the administrations claims of wanting to reduce oil imports to be honest and in good faith if they were willing to show some flexibility on this issue. The fact that they’re going for doctrinaire broke is all the evidence that I need that they are all, from the president to the lowest bureaucrat, liars of the most duplicitous kind.

On July 14, 2008 President George W. Bush lifted an executive ban on Outer Continental Shelf leasing. On October 1, 2008, in a bipartisan agreement, Congress lifted another longstanding ban on new oil and gas leasing in the OCS.

Drilling was supposed to begin this July. But Salazar said he intends to discard the 2010-2015 lease plan developed by the Bush administration in favor of a new plan that won’t even go into effect until 2012.

“Secretary Salazar has finally confirmed what had long been feared – that the Obama Administration has no intention of opening up new areas for offshore drilling during his four-years in office,” said Rep. Doc Hastings, the ranking Republican on the House Natural Resources Committee.

Cui bono? Who benefits? The foreign oil exporters do. The green fanatics do. And do the oil companies themselves care where the crude comes from? No, which is why all the “big oil” conspiracy theories are just plain stupid. No skin off their noses if we import 100% of our crude.

So who gets the shaft?

I was walking along Raval (Barcelona) when all of a sudden I understood that Europe died with Auschwitz.

We assassinated 6 million Jews in order to end up bringing in 20 million Muslims!

We burnt in Auschwitz the culture, intelligence and power to create.

We burnt the people of the world, the one who is proclaimed the chosen people of God.

Because it is the people who gave to humanity the symbolic figures who were capable of changing history (Christ, Marx, Einstein, Freud…) and who is the origin of progress and wellbeing.

We must admit that Europe, by relaxing its borders and giving in under the pretext of tolerance to the values of a fallacious cultural relativism, opened it’s doors to 20 million Muslims, often illiterates and fanatics that we could meet, at best, in places such as Raval, the poorest of the nations and of the ghettos, and who are preparing the worst, such as the 9/11 and the Madrid bombing and who are lodged in apartment blocs provided by the social welfare.

We also have exchanged culture with fanaticism, the capacity to create with the will to destroy, the wisdom with the superstition.

We have exchanged the transcendental instinct of the Jews, who even under the worst possible conditions have always looked for a better peaceful world, for the suicide bomber. We have exchanged the pride of life for the fanatic obsession of death. Our death and that of our children.

What a grave mistake that we made!!!

Fox News and Saudi Money and Glen Beck and Geert Wilders…

This is an expansion of this thread from a few days ago, the Beck/Wilders clip is used as an example and to refresh our memory.

Fox is getting very picky about this Beck/Wilders clip so i wont post it here, Here’s the transcript of what Beck Said about Geert Wilders:

In France, polls have this guy, the president, Nicolas Sarkozy, he is center-right. He’s hitting now new lows. Look out, because whoever is ruling now in any country no matter what, as this economy tanks and they spend all this money and it doesn’t matter if they’re right or left, as they tank, they’re going to become extraordinarily unpopular. So his approval rating is down to 36 percent. However, this guy, far right, Villepin (sic) — he’s at 57 percent.

Also, you have far right Dutch M.P. Geert Wilders. Last year, he was banned from the U.K. They said his presence could threaten community a harmony and therefore public safety. Last week, not only was he allowed into England, he was at the House of Lords, where he screened a film on the Quran.

The right and left are growing again in Europe. The left — listen carefully — the left in Europe is communism. The right is fascism, in Europe.

Europe is making the same mistakes that they made at the turn of the century. Mark my words — watch, please, do me a favor. We don’t have enough staff to watch this and nobody else is looking for it. Please, watch the crazy fringe groups over in Europe and e-mail. Tweet them to me at Glenn Beck on Twitter. Please, watch them as a watchdog, because they’re headed down the wrong tracks and we have to be prepared.

This is Geert Wilders on Beck 25FEB2009, so Glenn is familiar with the situation and the man.

Well, what do we think about Beck now, does he get a pass on this one? Should he apologize? He has done good work in the past. Has Fox been ‘infiltrated’ by Saudi influence? I hope this Beck ‘error’ has nothing to do with this:

He’s a prince! He graduated summa cum laude from Menlo University in 1979! He’s the Saudi Warren Buffet! He’s also Fox News’ fourth biggest investor--although Prince Alwaleed bin Talal claims that he’s the second biggest investor in News Corp., after Rupert Murdoch himself

I am not throwing Beck or Fox under the dhimmi bus yet; his content, and that of Fox News, may have to be scrutinized from now on. I just cant help but think what better way for the Wahhabist Saudi’s to alienate and diminish Europe’s most famous anti-jihadi and to assassinate his character than to buy a piece of editorial control in America’s most popular TV news service.  I hope this is not the case. Fox has taken the Saudi money in exchange for access to the Middle East media.

The Wahhabi influence in university and mosques and the fact that almost all of the imam’s in the US (especially in the US prison system) are also Wahhabi-Saudi funded and are anti-west in values and politics are of major concern. This is a security threat that has to be watched carefully, this is how the teachings infiltrate out country.

Does this mean that the Saudi-Wahhabi money has influenced fox/beck…i’m not there yet, is it a concern, yes. Does it look bad, yes. I am very concerned over this because fox is watched by so many people, and is trusted by them. Fox is still the go-to news network for unbiased reporting. Its size and trust by definition means that it needs to be careful about alliances and editorial decisions.

There is something about converts to Islam that gives me the chills. They tend to be even more fanatical then those who were already born into the death cult. It seems that the jihadis prefer Caucasian women converts to use in terror attacks because they are least likely to arouse suspicions. There was a while ago a European woman who was a convert to Islam who was killed in Iraq while on a terror mission.

A blonde American woman who went under the online alias “Jihad Jane” has been accused of plotting to murder a Swedish cartoonist for drawing a picture of the Prophet Muhammad with the body of a dog, it emerged today.

Colleen LaRose, a 46-year-old Muslim convert from Pennsylvania, was said by prosecutors to have used the internet to make contact with jihadists overseas and was persuaded to use the fact that she was a white American to get through security surrounding the artist, Lars Vilks.

A US Justice Department official said last night that the case “shatters any lingering thought that we can spot a terrorist based on appearance”.

Ms LaRose was arrested in Philadelphia in October last year, but her indictment remained sealed until after the arrest in Ireland yesterday of seven people – three women and four men – involved in a suspected plot to murder Mr Vilks.

The cartoonist has been holed up in a rural hideout since his cartoon appeared in a Swedish newspaper in 2007, a year when the publication of similar cartoons in Denmark sparked violent protests across the Islamic world.

Islamic law generally opposes any depiction of the Prophet – even favourable – for fear that it could lead to idolatry, and al-Qaeda put a bounty of $100,000 on Mr Vilks’s head.

Three Swedish papers reprinted his image today in a gesture of solidarity. One, Dagens Nyheter said in an editorial that “Vilks doesn’t stand alone in this conflict. A threat against him is, in the long term, also a threat against all Swedes.”

New Study: Capitalism Newer Than We Thought

A world leader has uncovered some new facts about history. In this interview, Van Jones Mahmoud Ahmadinejad tells us what we all already know:

The president described the September 11, 2001 destruction of the twin World Trade Center buildings in New York as a preconceived “scenario and a sophisticated intelligence measure” and emphasized that the 9/11 incident was a “big lie intended to serve as a pretext for fighting terrorism and setting the grounds for sending troops to Afghanistan.”

But here’s the real news:

Ahmadinejad reiterated that with the advent of the Islamic Revolution the materialistic mentality was challenged and Marxism was destroyed.

“Today,” he added, “With blessings from the Almighty, the Capitalist system, founded by the Zionists, has also reached an end.”

[Scratches head]

Mr. Jones Ahmadinejad didn’t explain how it was that Marxism, which was a reaction against capitalism, could have happened before the Zionists invented capitalism.

Clever, those Zionists.

Livingstone, Islamists approved

For those of who have not had the dubious pleasure of knowing who “Red” Ken Livngstone is – he was a former mayor of Greater  London (2000 -20008), a Trotskyite,  a Muslim appeaser of the worst sort, virulent anti Israel  fellow (sort of a George Galloway in a better suit) who through the stupidity of voters (and London’s changing demographics) had the chance to screw up one of the greatest cities on Earth. He was so left wing (think Barack Obama/Nancy Pelosi/Keith Olbermann on steroids) that even Londoners voted him out for Boris Johnson in 2008. His public persona was snarkiness, biting sarcasm, vitriol, and incitement – he had a bit of Joseph Goebbels in him.

In an election lost by Mr Livingstone, the Islamic Forum of Europe helped secure massive and unexpected swings towards him in its east London heartland.

In one ward, Spitalfields, his vote share rose from 29.6 per cent in 2004 – an election he won – to 68.4 per cent in 2008, a rise of nearly 39 percentage points.

In every other ward in Tower Hamlets and Newham with a sizeable Muslim population, his vote rose by between 23 and 36 percentage points. His vote in other Muslim and ethnic minority areas of London also rose, but by far smaller amounts.

Mr Livingstone’s economic development body, the London Development Agency, had agreed to pay more than £1.3 million to the East London Mosque, controlled by the IFE, and described by critics as hardline.

Emails leaked to The Sunday Telegraph show that a senior LDA official furiously protested against at least £500,000 of this grant, saying there were “major concerns” about the mosque project and “no case” for giving it the money.

However, the official was overruled and the grant was paid.

You can’t win hearts, minds of radical Islam

Well as the saying goes “It is impossible to win the hearts and minds of the heartless and the  mindless”. The thought that so many Westerners and Israelis have that the Muslims and/or Arabs will start to loves us and ignore the commands of the Koran because we give them indoor plumbing are condescending and naïve. As Mohammed Hassan Yousef (the son of a Hamas founder who left Islam for Christianity after serving as an Israeli agent for many years) said the other day in an interview “The cruelest Muslim terrorist has more humanity and morality then the God he serves”. He also rejected the notion of a difference between “moderate” and “radical” Islam because as another heroine Ayaan Hirsi Ali has said “there is only one Koran”. These people can never be placated or bought off, only defeated.

A good first step in waging war is to figure out why your enemy is fighting. For over eight years, we’ve refused to do that in Afghanistan. In the recent Marine offensive against the Taliban in Marjah, this resulted in a clear geographical objective, but a vague pacification mission targeting a stick-figure enemy. Tactical success is built on strategic quicksand.

We’re mired in Afghanistan because successive administrations in Washington have conflated the hayseed Taliban with al Qaeda’s cosmopolitans. These organizations have different ethnic compositions and profoundly different goals: The first is a regional actor with local aspirations, and the latter an international force with global ambitions. Instead of exploiting the differences between them, our policies encourage them to cooperate.

To regain our strategic footing, we need to see Taliban cadres as they are, without ideology or emotion clouding our vision.

Our reluctance to understand the Taliban on its own terms is strikingly evident in our insistence that Islam isn’t a factor. A confederation of franchises, the Taliban has multiple interests, from a regional power-struggle to local issues that vary between valleys. But the common identity of Taliban fighters is that they’re 100% Muslim and overwhelmingly Pashtun, members of a stateless ethnic group of 40 million straddling the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Our current hearts-and-minds approach that seeks to avoid “unnecessary” combat gets it exactly wrong: Religious warriors can’t be bought with new roads, wells and vaccinations. On the contrary, over two millennia of religious revolts tells us that fanatic uprisings can only be subdued by killing the true believers.

Before we open fire, it’s helpful to open our eyes. In Afghanistan, we’re imagining the enemy we want, rather than seeking to understand the enemy we face.

Obama to hold entrepreneurship summit with Islamic nations

Barack Hussein Obama’s obsession with the Islamic world continues. He treats Dar AL Islam as if it is superior to the rest of world. As he ignores our backyard, Latin America, he bestows attention on the Islamic World.

The White House on Friday announced a “summit on entrepreneurship” to build economic ties with the Islamic world, part of President Barack Obama’s outreach to Muslims.

The White House said it has invited participants from more than 40 countries over five continents for the April 26-27 conference in Washington.

Why doesn’t Obama hold an summit with African or Latin American nations? Why are the Islamic nations so special and given preference over others? The answer is that Barack Hussein Obama and the Tranzi Progressives view Dar AL Islam as allies. They are both fighting against Judeo-Christian Civilization and Capitalism. Events like this enforce the superiority attitude Dar AL Islam feels to the rest of the world. The elitist appeasement of these nations must stop.

Dutch Anti-Colonialist resistance leader, Geert Wilders, made a speech to the House of Lords in Britain today. He presented his movie Fitna which shows what Islamic Imperialism is all about. Our EDL friends marched in support of Geert Wilders and to counter the Leftist-Islamic Axis. His party made gains in the Dutch Municipal elections and is posed to do well in the June Parliamentary Elections. Geert is at the forefront of European resistance to Islamic Colonization.

Below is his speech to the House of Lords.

Thank you. It is great to be back in London. And it is great that this time, I got to see more of this wonderful city than just the detention centre at Heathrow Airport.

Today I stand before you, in this extraordinary place. Indeed, this is a sacred place. This is, as Malcolm always says, the mother of all Parliaments, I am deeply humbled to have the opportunity to speak before you.

Thank you Lord Pearson and Lady Cox for your invitation and showing my film ‘Fitna’. Thank you my friends for inviting me.

I first have great news. Last Wednesday city council elections were held in the Netherlands. And for the first time my party, the Freedom Party, took part in these local elections. We participated in two cities. In Almere, one of the largest Dutch cities. And in The Hague, the third largest city; home of the government, the parliament and the queen. And, we did great! In one fell swoop my party became the largest party in Almere and the second largest party in The Hague. Great news for the Freedom Party and even better news for the people of these two beautiful cities.

And I have more good news. Two weeks ago the Dutch government collapsed. In June we will have parliamentary elections. And the future for the Freedom Party looks great. According to some polls we will become the largest party in the Netherlands. I want to be modest, but who knows, I might even be Prime Minister in a few months time!

Turkey recalls Ambassador after US vote on Armenia ‘genocide’

In days long numbered with the past, my college Political Science professor referred me to a historical novel based on a true incident  called “The Forty Days of  Musa Dagh” by Franz Werfel. The book detailed the defense of Mount Moses by the Armenians facing deportation and genocide by the Ottoman Empire. As Turkey moves more and more into the Islamist camp – we should be reminded that the first 20th century genocide was against Armenia. Adolf Hitler was reported to have said to his Nazi acolytes regarding the coming extermination of the Jews “Who remembers the Armenians?”  Remember that the next time the Turks start bellyaching about the Palestinians.

Side note  – Armenia was the first nation to ever convert to Christianity.

One of the worst massacres of the 20th-century came back to haunt international politics yesterday when a powerful Washington panel voted to call the murder of about 1.5 million Armenians in Turkey “genocide”.

After more than three hours of debate, the House Committee on Foreign Affairs narrowly approved a resolution calling on President Obama to “characterise the systematic and deliberate annihilation of 1.5 million Armenians as genocide”.

The vote went ahead despite last-minute pleas from the White House and State Department and triggered a furious reaction from Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish Prime Minister.

“We condemn this resolution, which accuses the Turkish nation of a crime it did not committ,” he said. As Armenian observers applauded the vote on Capitol Hill, the Turkish Ambassador to Washington was recalled.

The vote, with 23 congressmen in favour and 22 against, will also jeopardise historic efforts begun last year to create normal diplomatic relations between Turkey and Armenia.

“We are seriously concerned that this resolution approved by the committee despite all our warnings will harm Turkey-US ties and efforts to nomalise Turkey-Armenia relations,” Mr Erdogan added.

Mr Obama promised as a candidate to break with longstanding US practice and start calling the First World War era killings genocide if elected to the White House. He broke the promise last year, refusing to use the word on a visit to Ankara, where he praised Turkey as a model Muslim democracy.

English Defence League, London-5th of March

English Defence League marches today to support Geert Wilders (who very well might be the next PM of the Netherlands!) and free speech.  Geert Wilders is facing prosecution in Holland for “inciting hatred” with the controversial film, Fitna,  that focuses on the links between Islam and terrorism, he is showing his film and giving a speech at Parliament.

The EDL will meet at 1300GMT (that’s 0900EST here in the USA) and march to the Houses of Parliament.  The EDL plans on having live feeds and running commentary throughout the march.  There will be counter-protesters on the route such as the leftist group UAF (who appear to be funded by the Unite Union, UK’s largest trade union and the Labour government, read: Progressives), The Socialist Workers Party SWP , and of course, there will be the seething muslims! Rhetorical question everyone: why would Labour party, Commies, Useful Idiots,and seething muslims all be united against British Patriots?

On Friday March 5th 2010, Geert Wilders will show his film ‘Fitna’ in the House of Lords as part of an information gathering exercise on the Islamisation of this nation.

Agree or disagree with Geert Wilders, the fact remains that he is a democratically elected member of a fine democracy and should be welcome on these or any other shores.

After threats of 10,000 muslims on the streets’ by the so-called ‘Lord’ Achmed last time Geert came to show his video, the spineless Home Secretary summarily banned his entry into the UK.   He has since been allowed in briefly, welcomed by crowds of radical Islamists calling for him to be butchered along with the entire population of jews.

Not one arrest was made with these inciteful to violence calls.  Not one.

Come March 5th, Geert Wilders will be there.

The Radical Islamists will be there.

EDL will be there.

We the English Defence League are a grass roots social movement who represent every walk of life, every race, every creed and every colour from the working class to middle England our unity and diversity is our strength. We have members that represent our rich and cultural “patriotic” nation loving populace who can see the threat of “Islamism” for what it is, that is a vile and virulent ideology based off of 7th century barbarity, intolerance, hatred, subjugation and war.

English Defence League members recognise this threat as one that must be stopped at all costs, our Christian, Jewish, Sikh, and Hindu friends all have tales to tell with regard to Islamic Imperialism and “Orthodox Teachings”, in particular the Wahhabi/Salafi doctrine of “killing unbelievers if they refuse to be subdued by Islam” as the Quran points out in surah 5 verse 33…….

As most of us here already know, the true bigots and anti-Semites are on the left. You know, those understanding, tolerant and all-caring liberals/progressives. Yeah right. Piss on those scumbags. Most college campuses are nothing but places of intolerance, ignorance and anti-Semitism, where it’s not only okay to attack Israel and call for its destruction, but downright “chic”.

But just don’t protest the worldwide jihad the muslims are committing on a daily basis against Christians and Jews, and followers of other religions or no religion at all. Here’s a 6 minute video from some of our institutions of higher “learning”, along with a viewing guide-

Anti-Israel or Anti-Semitic?

There is one issue that seems to evoke more hostility then any other – Israel. Israel’s Operation Cast Lead at the close of 2008 evoked feelings of resentment and hatred from people throughout the world. There was something “different” about the protests that this war sparked as the line between anti-Israel policy and anti-Semitism became blurred. These protests weren’t just against Israel but also against the Jewish People. Around the world, synagogues and Jewish graves were desecrated and anti-Semitic chants were shouted at protests – even on the streets of America.
