Muammar Gaddafi calls for jihad on Swiss after ban on building minarets

Well get back to us when we can build churches in Libya, Muammar. The arrogance of these people knows no boundaries.  They make demands and then threats, demands and threats one after the other  – all the while we keep on giving up our freedoms bit by bit.

by Roger Boyes

Muammar Gaddafi has appealed for jihad against Switzerland, long regarded as one of the most peaceful nations in the world.

The Libyan leader’s call for a holy war was, he said, a response to a Swiss referendum in November to ban the construction of minarets on mosques.

It is the low point in a relationship that has been deteriorating since 2008 when Colonel Gaddafi’s son Hannibal was briefly detained in Geneva after allegedly beating his servants.

“Any Muslim in any part of the world who works with Switzerland is an apostate, is against (the Prophet) Muhammad, God and the Koran,” Colonel Gaddafi said at a rally broadcast on television.

He made the speech to mark the Prophet’s birthday, ensuring that many Arabs would take the call seriously.

It was not clear how he wanted Muslims to target Switzerland. “The masses of Muslims must go to all airports in the Islamic world and prevent any Swiss plane landing, to all harbours and prevent any Swiss ships docking,” he said, apparently unaware that Switzerland does not have a merchant navy, or coast.

He has been attempting to demonstrate to the West that he is not at the helm of a rogue state, that it has no nuclear ambitions or contacts with terrorism. He criticised al-Qaeda during his address, calling it a “a psychological disease”. He added: “There is a big difference between terrorism and jihad.”

He made clear that Switzerland, “an infidel, obscene state which is destroying mosques”, was at the very least an ideological enemy.

Radical Islam: Israel and the West

Radical Islam: Israel and the West

On February 16, 2010, The Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism (SICSA) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem hosted a seminar featuring Prof. Bernard Lewis, a world expert in the field of Middle Eastern studies and Islam entitled “Radical Islam: Israel and the West.”

The exclusive seminar was moderated by Prof. Robert S. Wistrich, the Center’s director and a world expert on anti-Semitism.

Muslims and the West

Prof. Lewis began by explaining that “this is the first time in 1,000 years that the Muslim world is in charge of their own affairs.” In this post-Communist era, “the Russians can’t play a role, and the Americans don’t want to play a role.” This change has created a painful new awareness in the Muslim world and has raised questions regarding why Muslim countries have fallen behind the West. There seems to be two very different answers to this question.

The first approach claims that Western Imperialism is to blame. The supporters of this view place the blame squarely on the United States and Israel (“the ‘illegitimate offspring’ of the United States”), who they see as the face of Western Imperialism today. They believe that modernization is a betrayal of their Islamic heritage and the only solution is to return to authentic Islam, no matter the sacrifice. This is what radical Islam is claiming to be doing.

The second approach claims that the Muslim world has no one to blame but themselves for their current state of affairs. In other words, the Muslim countries haven’t fallen behind the West as a result of Western Imperialism but as a result of their own actions – it is a “self-inflicted condition.” Supporters of this view agree that the solution lies in the modernization of Muslim countries – no finger pointing, just hard work to make it happen.

Prof. Lewis summed it up as follows: “It is important to realize that the greatest tragedy of the Middle East is a result of reforms introduced in the Middle East by Arab and Muslim rulers, not Europeans in the 19th and 20th Centuries.”

Europe and Islam

Prof. Lewis also discussed the concern that Muslims may take over Europe. He pointed out that it is hard to address this issue because there aren’t any reliable statistics regarding the number of Muslims in Europe. However, one indication that this concern may be well-founded is a rise in the number of Muslim names being given to children, and in some European countries these names are now the most popular.

Historically, it is important to remember that the Muslims made two previous attempts to conquer Europe – the first was in the 7th Century and the second in the 19th Century. The third attempt, which we are witnessing today, seems to have a much better chance at success. This current conquest is being waged in the form of peaceful migration rather than military aggression. As such, it is that much harder for Europe to defend itself.

What (the Muslims) are saying in Europe is that they want the same rights that the Muslims granted Christians and Jews in the classic Muslim state. These seem to be very legitimate claims and they imply that Muslims in Europe aren’t looking to take over Europe, they just want to ensure their basic rights as citizens. “The only question remaining for us to answer regarding the future of Europe,” quipped Prof. Lewis, “is will it be an Islamized Europe or a European Islam?”

Iran

When asked about the current situation in Iran, Prof. Lewis was very optimistic. “The regime is extremely unpopular, there is a great desire for change and the prospect in Iran is encouraging.”

He explained that “the revolution has reached the Napoleon stage” and as such “we shouldn’t give Iran the gift of Patriotism.” We must be very careful not to slip into the trap of strengthening the resolve of the Iranian radicals by questioning their rights to Nuclear weapons, giving them a reason to unite their people from within.

Radical & Moderate Islam

One development that does concern Prof. Lewis is the growth of radical Islam in several Muslim countries. Saudi Arabia is the most extreme example (“Wahhabism is the official religion of Saudi Arabia at the present time.”) and Turkey is also showing signs of a change in ideology (“What is happening in Turkey is alarming as it appears to be the first successful attempt to undo the Kemalist Revolution.”).

The good news, however, is that not all Muslims or Arabs are extremists or Jihadists, and we must support and strengthen these moderates. Prof. Lewis pointed out that authentic Islam is not about violence (“Sharia law states not to harm non-combatants and that suicide in all forms is forbidden”.) and that moderates (i.e. “those who don’t make the headlines”) are more than willing to accept the modern world and the West.

This article was compiled by the staff of The Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism (SICSA) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The Center (www.sicsa.huji.ac.il) is dedicated to an independent, non-political approach to the accumulation and dissemination of knowledge necessary for understanding the multi-faceted phenomenon of anti-Semitism.

CPAC Session on Jihad, Free Speech Attracts Complaints

A panel discussion on the threat posed by “Islamic supremacism,” Shariah and political correctness has been scheduled for this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference, stirring complaints from some American Muslims that the exercise amounts to Muslim-bashing.

Well, yeah. If you tell the truth about islam, it certainly bashes the ummah’s hope of Dar al-Islam in our country. Like how when you explain to people that “islam” doesn’t really mean peace- it means peace through submission to allah.

Say what? Well that’s totally different.

Scheduled to speak are Steve Coughlin, a former Pentagon specialist on Islamic law who was fired two years ago, allegedly under pressure from pro-Muslim officials, and Wafa Sultan, an author and prominent critic of Islam. The discussion is billed as a window into Islam’s “war on free speech,” the “encroachment” of Shariah — or Islamic law — in the West and efforts by the Muslim Brotherhood to infiltrate American society.

Sounds good to me! Of course our old friend, the hoopstah, has a different take on the matter:

“It’s unfortunate that a conservative conference would be in any way associated with Muslim bashers and Islamophobes,” said Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations. “It’s a free country. They’re free to be anti-Muslim bigots if they like, but it’s really up to the organizers of CPAC to determine if they’re going to allow their conference to be associated with the hate-filled views of those who will be speaking.”

Got that? Having a discussion on how islam tries to silence it’s opponents draws ire from islamists who then try to silence their opponents. Surprise.

The session appears to be attracting attention on both sides of the issue. While CAIR and a few blogs have blasted CPAC for putting on the event, co-host Pamela Geller said she’s already gotten hundreds of RSVPs.

[...]

Geller, publisher of the AtlasShrugs.com blog, is putting on the talk with Jihad Watch director Robert Spencer. Both are fierce critics of Islam.

Thank you Robert & Pamela!

Egypt’s Christians In Peril

Actually all non Muslims are in peril in the Middle East, yet if you read the news you would think that the people who are suffering the most are those in Gaza. The Copts go back long before the Islamic invasion of Egypt and are a direct link in the chain which  goes back to the ancient Egyptians. Recently there has been a ludicrous attempt to promote “bi-nationalism” In Israel/Palestine which in effect would guarantee an Islamic Palestine on the ruins of Israel. What has happened to Lebanon since 1970 is a good indication as to how bi-nationalism really would work. Islam is not there to be “tolerated” or to coexist,  but to dominate.

by Faith McDonnell

At midnight every January 6th, Christmas Eve Mass ends and the early hours of Christmas Day begin for the Coptic Church in Egypt. As Orthodox Christians, descendants of Egypt’s ancient Christianity that far outdates Islam [1], the Copts have to wait longer for Christmas festivities than those who celebrate on December 25. Perhaps to emphasize that the long-anticipated day has arrived, the Mass celebrating Christ’s birth ends with the joyous ringing of bells as Egyptian Christians, dressed in their finest clothes, head home to continue their Christmas celebrations.

It is unusual for church bells to ring before midnight. But such was the case this past January 6, 2010, at Mar Yohana (St. John’s) Church in Nag Hammadi, Upper Egypt, the town famous for the discovery of the Gnostic Gospels. The church’s pastor, Bishop Anba Kirollos, was concerned by threats made against the Christians and decided to start Mass an hour early. At 11:00 P.M., church bells rang and worshippers streamed out the doors. It was a perfect time for an attack on the Christian community.

Three cars drove by the church and masked men with automatic weapons shot into the crowd, eyewitnesses later told the Middle East Christian Association (MECA). The cars then drove down three nearby side streets, shooting more Copts. Eight Christians were killed, six young church deacons instantly. A Muslim security guard was also killed, and many worshippers injured.

“The Muslims promised us a wonderful Christmas,” one wounded parishioner told the Coptic News Bulletin, “I think the message is received now.” All further Christmas celebrations were cancelled. In a moment’s time, one of the most joyous days of the year for Christians was transformed into a day of horror and carnage. That was as much the goal of the Muslim gunmen as the actual shootings. Christian holy days and holy places are most often targeted. Just seven months before, Muslims in the village of Higaza opened fire on worshippers leaving an Easter Eve service, killing two young men and wounding a woman.

Saudis against Valentine’s day

The beloved Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has now decided that Valentine’s Day is bad. They are banning any store from selling red items. The reason they are banning Valentine’s Day is because it’s a Christian Holiday!

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – The Saudi religious police launched Thursday a nationwide crackdown on stores selling items that are red or in any other way allude to the banned celebrations of Valentine’s Day, a Saudi official said.

Members of the feared religious police were inspecting shops for red roses, heart-shaped products or gifts wrapped in red, and ordering storeowners to get rid of them, the official said. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to reporters.

Red-colored or heart-shaped items are legal at other times of the year, but as Feb. 14 nears they become contraband in Saudi Arabia. The kingdom bans celebration of Western holidays such as Valentine’s Day, named after a Christian saint said to have been martyred by the Romans in the 3rd Century.

Islamic Tolerance, they ask for it here but show none in their homelands. This shows you how miserable this culture is and why me must be intolerant of them. It is time to remove the stench of Saudi influence from American politics. We don’t need them as “allies” or their oil. Screw Saudi Arabia they are an enemy and it’s time America realized it.

I came across this funny poll that shows the thinking of the Palestinians. According to this poll Osama Bin Laden is popular among this population.

Leader of Al-Qaeda global terror group Osama bin Laden also showed declining popularity, while his strongest supporters could be found in Nigeria (54%) and among of Palestinians (51%), which according to the survey, identify with his worldview.

Blogmocracy in Action

Guest Blogger: Macker

Never mind which Level of Hell they’re on…Saddam and his two sons stood just outside the Quarantine Section, where all newcomers to the Underworld were initially processed. “It’s a good thing we got here when we did,” said bullet-ridden Qusay. “Yes,” his father replied, “we don’t want to keep the boss waiting, especially when he informed us there was someone special who just got here.”

It took another fifteen minutes before Saddam’s right-hand man, Ali Hassan al-Majid, was released. “Saddam! My cousin!” He rushed to hug and kiss the man who used to rule Iraq, and also his two sons. He was weeping, but not for joy. “It was horrible! This is not what I was expecting.” Saddam consoled him. “I know. It is not what you expected. There were 72 of them, and they were virgin Demons with anvil-shaped genitalia, is right?” His cousin nodded and pointed to the backside of his blood-stained trousers.

Saddam continued. “Yes, that is over for you. Now, I am to tell you your daily work assignment.” “And that is…?” inquired the man who once was known as Chemical Ali.
“Why, it’s obvious!” said Saddam. “You are to be gassed to death every day by those Kurds from Halabja who ended up here. That is why in some circles, this is known as ‘Download City.’”
“I…I don’t understand that,” murmured Ali, now fully realizing where he was.
“I don’t understand that either,” said Saddam. “We’ll have to ask those folks over there who say they are Cylons. Strange that most of them look alike.”

Yeah….About Those “Loyal” Israeli-Arab/Muslims….

Unfortunately, there are more of these “about those “loyal” Israeli-Arab/Muslims” Threads then there should be, but groups such as the EU, U.S., J-Street, AIPAC, and both the Republican and Democrat parties, etc., continue to push the lie that the Muslim/Arabs want something other than to destroy Israel, and that the the conflict is only about land, and concerning those living in Gaza and Judea and Samaria. (ie Arab/Muslims living within pre-1967 are loyal citizens.)

This time, the truth comes from none other than two Israeli-Arab/Muslim Members of Knesset – Jamal Zehalka (Balad) who informs the Israeli press that Tel Aviv is the Arab Village of Sheikh Munis!, and Taleb A-Sana who provided his cell phone to the freaks of “The Free Gaza Movement” to call Hamas.

The broadcast occurred on Thursday night, on the Erev Chadash (New Evening) program hosted by veteran broadcaster Dan Margalit and his younger co-host Ronen Bergman, and broadcast on Channel 1 and 23. Arab MK Jamal Zehalka (Balad) was their guest, and the discussion centered around that morning’s Arab protest against Israel. One Arab MK at the protest, Taleb A-Sana, used his cell phone to broadcast a live address to the rally by Hamas terrorist chief executive Ismail Haniye. Zehalka, for his part, said that Defense Minister Ehud Barak likes to listen to classical music and kill children, comparing him to a Nazi.

Zehalka told his interviewers that there is a “lack of knowledge among Israelis about the terrible situation in Gaza, and there is nothing wrong with Haniye expressing his opinion to the Israeli public.”

Luckily the interviewers this time weren’t having any of the Israel-Arab/Muslim MK’s propaganda…and a heated dialogue ensued.  After the Israel-Arab/Muslim MK stormed off the stage, the argument continued, and he finally made what was really in his heart clear – he dictated to the Jews how they should act, then called Tel Aviv muslim land.

Here is some of the back and forth (Bergman and Margalit are the Israeli Reporters):

Bergman: “Why don’t you protest against Egypt? If they would open their blockade of Gaza in Rafiach, there would be no humanitarian crisis there!”

Zehalka: “I support the Egyptian opposition’s protest against their government” [evoking sarcastic laughter by the interviewers] … We want to stop the suffering in Gaza, one must be totally obtuse in order not to see this.”

Margalit: “Not quite; Hamas has fired 8,000 rockets…”

Zehalka: “There were 1,400 dead Arabs and 400 children [in Cast Lead] [sic].”

Margalit: “Because Hamas fired rockets…”

Zehalka: “Ehud Barak listens to classical music and kills children!”

Margalit: “Yes, we’ve heard that, we’ve heard that. What chutzpah (gall, nerve — ed.) it takes to talk that way.”

Zehalka: “No, the chutzpah is the killing. Don’t say it is nerve.”

Margalit: “It is chutzpah.”

Zehalka (yelling): “Don’t you say chutzpah!”

Margalit: “I’ll say what I want, I don’t live in your [type of] country, I live in a democracy.”

Zehalka (yelling): “You talk as if you’re in the marketplace!”

Margalit: “I talk that way? You say that Barak is a murderer! You are chatzuf [cheeky, rude, disrespectful, from the same root as the Hebrew word chutzpah]!”

Zehalka (yelling): “Don’t call me chatzuf!”

Zehalka: “You’re a zero! You’re a mouthpiece for all the prime ministers, and you’re a court reporter! You’re a court reporter!”Margalit: “Yes, OK, Zehalka, you’re right, now get out of here. You don’t care about all the Kassams, now get out of here.”

Zehalka [still yelling from offstage]: “This is Sheikh Munis here!”…
Margalit [banging on the table]: “Aaah, now we see what you really want!  Now it’s clear! You want to conquer this from us too! Now we see the truth!”

Zehalka: “No, we want to live together! I was born here, you are an immigrant!

Margalit:”Oh, I’m an immigrant?” (Margalit was born in Tel Aviv in 1938)

More of the exchange, and historical background here.

We see here the true mind of an Israeli-Arab/Muslim Member of Knesset. Depite his full rights, and authority as a Member of Knesset, his loyalty is not to the Country he represents, and in which he lives, but to the Islamic Ummah. Like a true Islamist, he considers all of Israel “occupied Muslim land”, wishes for its destruction, and demands that the non-Muslims submit to his outlandish claims (dhimmihood).

This claims were not made by a lone, insane, poor, “extremist”….they were made by a Israeli Member of Knesset, while another Israeli Member of Knesset gives aid comfort, and access for propaganda purposes to Hamas – a groups whose central goal is the destruction of Israel.

Islamists Erase Jewish Identity from Ezekiel’s Tomb in Iraq

Although I still support the U.S. and coalition forces decision to liberate the people of Iraq from Saddam Hussein, and protect us from what then was an understandable fear of weapons of mass destruction, this was not what I would have expected would be the outcome of our effort.

As is unfortunately typical of Islam, they are once again taking over a Jewish holy site, erasing any connection to its Jewish roots, and turning it into a Mosque.

Islamists Erase Jewish Identity from Ezekiel’s Tomb in Iraq
(h/t: Israel Matzav)

http://www.alfassa.com/blog/ezkiel3.0.jpg

NEW YORK (December 29, 2009) – The Iraqi news agency Ur News has revived fears that under pressure from Islamic political parties, the original Hebrew inscriptions and ornamentation on the walls around the tomb of Ezekiel are being (or have been) removed, this under the pretext of restoring the site. According to sources, the Antiquities and Heritage Authority in Iraq has been pressured by Islamists to historically cleanse all evidence of a Jewish connection to Iraq–a land where Jews had lived for over a thousand years before the advent of Islam.

Four months ago a German-based Iraqi journalist tipped off the Association of Jewish Academics from Iraq in Israel that plans were afoot to build a mosque on the site of the shrine of the Jewish prophet Ezekiel at al-Kifl…. The rumours were investigated by a philo-Semitic Iraqi Shi’a, Dr. Jabbar Jamal al-Din, a lecturer in Jewish Thought at the Kufa University.  They were denied by the shrine’s director.  Now a report by Ur News revives fears that in the absence of Jews on the ground, nothing, not even UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), stands in the way of politically-motivated plans to erase all Jewish traces of this ancient holy site.

Drastic changes taking place currently at the tomb of Ezekiel will change its character and prompt UNESCO to delete it as a protected site on the World Heritage List, similar to what happened to the historic city of Babylon, where old buildings were demolished and new layers of construction added.

Hebrew writings will or already has been erased from the site and from the room that houses the shrine. Restoration work includes skimming the walls, 3 metres high in the yard, 2 metres high inside the shrine. Sources say that the media are not allowed to take pictures and visits to the shrine are limited to pilgrims.

Iraq – the Biblical Mesopotamia -is almost as rich in Jewish history as the Land of Israel. The tomb of the prophet Ezekiel dates back to the Babylonian exile in the sixth century BCE. It was there in Iraq that Abraham discovered monotheism, and it is where the prophets Ezra, Nehemiah, Nahum, Jonah and Daniel are all buried.

Is International Policy On Jewish Presence In Judea & Samaria Racial Segregation?

It seems that the more you live, the more you realize that there is nothing new under the sun. This is ever so true with the canary-in-the-coal mine of the Jewish people, and their representative on the international stage; Israel. The amount of hypocrisy, and downright injustice of the American policy (especially recently) regarding the post-1967 Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria continues to be on display to the World, and yet they continue to choose the status quo of ignorant blindness.

While the entire world, lead by our President Obama is up in arms over “illegal building” in Judea and Samaria, -even going as far as to state that it is the number one problem stumbling block regarding “Middle East” peace, they are purposefully blind to the fact that Arab/Muslim illegal building continues at a remarkable pace.

No Inspectors to Enforce Illegal Building by Arabs

Although the issue of Jewish life in Judea & Samaria is often discussed, and debated among the talking heads throughout the world, none (or at least very few) are aware or willing to admit or discuss the horrible inequality, and injustice to the present “accepted norms” with this situation.

This is surprising however as what is going on regarding the treatment of the Jews in Judea & Samaria is very familiar to the World, and especially Americans. As some have argued, the continuing double standard, and willful blindness to the violations by the Muslim/Arabs within the world and specifically Judea and Samaria and the World’s “accepted norms” regarding their final solution is in actuality nothing short than an actual Apartheid policy and the implementation of racial segregation laws against he Jewish people reminiscent to the “separate but equal”, and other famous former Civil Rights problems within the United States.

Settlement freeze is like racial segregation in U.S. (from Haaretz if you can believe it!)

Once upon a time there was a black woman; her name was Rosa Parks. There were racially discriminating laws in the United States, but she continued to sit on the bus even when she was told to vacate her seat for a white person. She was arrested, which set off a process whose end saw the abolition of racial segregation on American buses. How is it possible that one little black woman, a dressmaker by profession, could change history simply because she remained sitting? Her protest was stronger than any demonstration, op-ed piece or Knesset vote. She opted for the natural choice; that is why she was triumphant.

My family and friends were outlawed. Why? Because we are building in the Land of Israel. After all the permits and approvals, in recognized and orderly settlements in which a third generation has already been raised, we woke up one morning to the humming of drones in the sky, taking pictures of us and the situation on the ground. It is forbidden to build. Not even a storeroom. Not a kennel. In certain places, it is even forbidden to add an air conditioner.

The freeze is an edict that the public cannot tolerate. It is not democratic, nor is it humane… But at its foundation, either intentionally or by accident, is pure and basic apartheid – it is forbidden for Jews to live in certain places. It is forbidden to build. It is forbidden to develop.

This author, although admittedly not eloquent, is right as these rules apply ONLY to Jews, and the excuses by the world for such treatment, and their excuses are not much different than when the U.S. claimed “separate but equal”. Then, as is the case as well now, the situation and laws applied are anything but “equal”, and as a result of the inherent injustice with the application of the laws the “separate” part only applies to the Muslim/Arab neighborhoods, as the Jews are forced to allow Muslim/Arab building, and inclusion, where the Muslim/Arab ones aren’t. A great example of this was the 2005 Expulsion of everything Jews in Gaza without any requirements or demands on the Muslim/Arabs within Israel, or within Gaza. This horrible segregation and double standard is still present today in the complete silence about the nearly complete Islamification of Gaza by the Islamist Hamas. The international communities policy on Israel is that it force Jews living in Judea & Samaria (and then, Gaza) to halt life, be stripped of all their rights, and be expelled yet they are completely silent regarding the Arab/Muslim populations within Israel or within Judea & Samaria. Similar to pre-Civil Rights America, the policies are directed at curtailing the existence of one racial group at the preference of another. In the U.S., the Black communities rights were curtailed while the Whites were given free reign.

In the context of Islamist doctrine (Sharia Law), the Caliphate, and dhimmihood, none of this really is surprising. As the Koran instructs, the Muslims are to have the superior (white/Muslim) role in society, and the infidel/dhimmi (Black/Jew) the inferior. The double standard and racial segregation methods of the presently used “peace process” where Muslims can live where ever they wish, build whatever they wish, and practice their religion openly and freely, but the Jews of Judea & Samaria cannot, only bolsters this understanding.

Further bolstering the argument that what we see today against the Jews of Judea & Samaria is nothing less than racial segregation are the stats as provided by the CIA Fact Book regarding the population of Gaza, Judea & Samaria, and Israel where Israel has a large minority of cultures, religions, ethnicities, and languages while Gaza and Judea & Samaria are nearly 100% “palestinian arab” and “Muslim” only.

There is a bit of irony to the fact that our President, raised in a Black Liberation Church, and who happens to identify with his Black heritage would be the leader of the new international Klan which has at its core -consciously or unconsciously – policies of racial segregation and our generations own “separate but equal” treatment but on an international scale.

This traitor has a history of supporting Totalitarian regimes and movements. The people of Iran want a government that represents Persian interest and not Arab-Imperialists. In a show of support to their Imperialist allies, the Collaborationist have thrown the Iranian people under the bus. John Kerry wants to go to Iran in support of that Fascist regime.

WASHINGTON — Sen. John Kerry has suggested becoming the first high-level U.S. emissary to make a public visit to Tehran since the 1979 Islamic revolution, a move White House officials say they won’t oppose.

The offer comes as mass protests against Iran’s regime are resurfacing and a U.S.-imposed deadline nears to broach international sanctions against Iran.

The Iranian regime is beloved by Progressives the world over. They are viewed as fellow revolutionaries and the Left has done all in it’s power to keep this regime afloat. The victims of this insane policy are the Iranian people. They are tired of a government that imposes foreign Arab values on the Persian majority of that nation. The idea is of a Kerry visit is a slap in the face and they don’t like it.

Many opponents of Tehran’s regime oppose such a visit, fearing it would lend legitimacy to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at a time when his government is under continuing pressure from protests and opposition figures. Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets again this week to voice their opposition to the government following the death of a reformist cleric.

Progressives are allied with Islamo-Imperialist and John Kerry’s idea of a visit to support that vile Fascist regime is just another example. This man has shown his true colors in the past and is a traitor!

This thread is in honor of Taxfreekiller who has been reminding us of the treachery of John Kerry.

Bin Laden Family in Iran

The 2 factions of the Totalitarian Islamo-Imperialist movement, Shiite and Sunni have been at each others throat. luckily for us, this prevents them from forming a united front against us. In a very ironic twist, it turns out many of Osama’s family are hiding in Iran. The official story is that they are detained or under house arrest. However knowing the vil nature of the Arabist regime of occupied Iran, it seems very doubtful.

Osama bin Laden’s closest relatives are living in a secret compound in Iran, members of the family said last night. They include a wife and children who disappeared from his Afghan camp at the time of the 9/11 attacks on the United States.

There has been uncertainty about the family’s whereabouts for the past eight years, with reports that some of the children had been killed in bombings, while others had joined their father in planning terrorist attacks. However, relatives said that they found out last month that the group, including one of Osama’s wives, six of his children and 11 of his grandchildren, had been kept in a high-security compound outside Tehran.

There is more to this story that is being discussed. One possibility is that the Bin Laden’s being held in Iran as a bargaining chip with the West. Another theory is that are collateral to prevent an AL-Qaeda attack on Iran. It is also possible that Iran is protecting them from Western retribution. This is basically like 2 Mafia families playing their little games. At the end of the day the Arabist regime of Occupied Iran and Al-Qaeda are both Islamo-Imperialist. A pox on both them!

Hamas using English law to demand arrest of Israeli leaders for war crimes

Talk about an Orwellian World! The disgrace is that the British in their zeal to lead the way in  the continuing demonization  and delegitimization the Jewish nation and people, have acquiesced in the undermining of their own legal institutions to the point where they are now puppets of Hamas and their British allies. The can of worms that they are opening up may one day come back to bite them as British politicians, military personnel, diplomats  etc.,  may one day find that they too are under indictment.

by James Hider

The Islamist group Hamas is masterminding efforts to have senior Israeli leaders arrested for alleged war crimes when they visit European countries including Britain, a top Hamas official involved in the effort has told The Times.

The claim comes amid continuing diplomatic fallout after a British arrest warrant was issued last week against Tzipi Livni, who served as Foreign Minister during Israel’s Gaza offensive last winter. The warrant was withdrawn when it became clear that Ms Livni, now leader of the opposition, was not in the country. Its existence apparently prompted her to cancel a trip to attend a meeting in London.

President Peres described the incident as “one of the greatest political mistakes” that Britain could have made and calling for the law to be changed. “Everything is based on … a hostile majority public opinion,” he said last week. “The British promised they would fix this and it is time that they do so.”

Gordon Brown and David Miliband, the Foreign Secretary, have each expressed their concern and their opposition to the warrant.

The campaign by Hamas takes advantage of an aspect of law in England and Wales that allows anyone to apply for an arrest warrant for alleged war crimes without the need for a prosecuting lawyer. The identity of the person or organisation that applied for Ms Livni’s warrant has not been made public, but Hamas says that it initiated the move.

Livni: International campaign of delegitimization aimed at Israel

The current economic crisis has proven that the international financial system has changed – not only from an economic standpoint, but a political one as well, Opposition leader Tzipi Livni (Kadima) said Monday.

Speaking at a business conference in Tel Aviv, Livni said that while Israel has proven itself capable of weathering the economic crisis, a “disturbing international campaign of delegitimization aimed at the Jewish state” has taken root.
[...]

Livni added that she believes that the two state solution is in Israel’s best interest “without regard to international world opinion.”

While I agree that a disturbing international campaign of delegitimization aimed at Israel HAS taken root… is the two state solution really in Israel’s best interest?

From Hamas, just today:
Gaza’s defiant Islamists reject PLO dominance

“Hamas will not retreat from Jihad and resistance until it achieves freedom and independence for our people,” Gaza Strip Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh told a huge rally.

“We will not recognize Israel and we will not abandon resistance.” he said.

In a speech underlining the split in Palestinian ranks between his movement and the secular Fatah group, the Hamas leader in Gaza said any decisions taken by the PLO Central Council meeting in the West Bank would be unconstitutional.

[...]

As supporters celebrated the anniversary of the foundation of Hamas 22 years ago, Haniyeh promised no wavering from the goal of “a Palestine from the sea to the river (Jordan), a land of Islamic Waqf (religious endowment).”

Hamas does not recognize Israel’s right to exist and opposes the Fatah strategy pursued by President Mahmoud Abbas of seeking to negotiate a permanent peace deal.

Secular Fatah? Are they trying to make them sound half-way reasonable or something? Nothing to see here… move along…

Never forget what their goals are, as stated in the official Fatah constitution:

Goals

Article (12) Complete liberation of Palestine, and eradication of Zionist economic, political, military and cultural existence.

Article (13) Establishing an independent democratic state with complete sovereignty on all Palestinian lands, and Jerusalem is its capital city, and protecting the citizens’ legal and equal rights without any racial or religious discrimination. [ed: of course they're allowed to discriminate against anyone, it's just that nobody can discriminate against them]

Article (14) Setting up a progressive society that warrants people’s rights and their public freedom.

Article (15) Active participation in achieving the Arab Nation’s goals in liberation and building an independent, progressive and united Arab society. [ed: ummah anyone?]

Article (16) Backing up all oppressed people in their struggle for liberation and self-determination in order to build a just, international peace.

How sweet. Not.

How long is this game going to go on?
