Obama Sending Anti-Missile Ships Near North Korea

by Rodan ( 11 Comments › )

Obama, a man who kisses up to Muslim and Leftist dictators is acting tough. He is sending 2 Aegis Anti Missile Ships from Japan to “monitor” the Korean Missile Launch.

US deploys warships as North Korea prepares to launch missile

The US has deployed two warships with anti-missile capabilities in the waters off Japan as tensions mount over North Korea’s plans to test-fire a long-range ballistic missile capable of striking Alaska.

The deployment comes as America, Japan and South Korea threaten North Korea with ‘serious consequences’ if it proceeds with plans to conduct the missile test in defiance of a 2006 UN resolution.

North Korea, which has informed international agencies of its plan to fire the missile between April 4 and 8, says the launch is a “satellite test” which it is entitled to make under international law.

Obama who kisses up to the Iranians who are weak, tries to look tough with North Korea, which is backed by China. Obama is an amateur and doesn’t know what he’s doing. I would ignore the North Koreans and let them fire their missiles. They want attention. Just ignore them. Obama makes one bad move here and you will have a war with China. I wish Obama would be tough with the Muslims instead.

The Continuing Crisis with North Korea and China

Well guys tensions are mounting in Asia. Japan is now threatening to shoot down the North Korean Missile. China is worried about the security of their treasury holdings.

China ‘worried’ about US Treasury holdings

BEIJING (AP) – China’s premier expressed concern Friday about its holdings of Treasuries and other U.S. debt, appealing to Washington to safeguard their value, and said Beijing is ready to expand its stimulus if economic conditions worsen.

Premier Wen Jiabao noted that Beijing is the biggest foreign creditor to the United States and called on Washington to see that its response to the global slowdown does not damage the value of Chinese holdings.

Heres’s the Japanese threats to North Korea.

Japan warns it may shoot down North Korean satellite launcher

Japan today threatened to shoot down a satellite that North Korea plans to launch early next month if it shows any signs of striking its territory.

Tokyo’s warning that it would deploy its multibillion-dollar missile defence system raised tensions in the region after North Korea said that it had identified a potential “danger area” near Japanese territory along the rocket’s flight path.

This is a serious Crisis, the Obama administration should never have started the war of words with North Korea. China will back them to the end. Continue underestimating China at our peril. America needs to get out of Asia.

China’s Hu urges staunch defence

by Rodan ( 3 Comments › )

I am warning everyone that China is not be trusted or underestimated.  People laughed at Steve Emerson when he warned about the rising Jihad, and stated that the Serbs were the good guys back in the 90′s.  I will continue to watch China.   Although many of you have made excuses for China;  I say you underestimate them at your peril.  Just ask any Korean War veteran about the Chinese.

China’s Hu urges staunch defence days after U.S. spat

BEIJING (Reuters) – Chinese President Hu Jintao urged the military to “staunchly defend” national sovereignty in comments published days after a brief confrontation with a U.S. Navy ship.

Hu’s comments to People’s Liberation Army officers, published in the official People’s Daily Thursday, did not mention the PLA Navy’s run-in Sunday with a U.S. Navy survey ship off the Chinese island province of Hainan.

China is a rising power and their goal is the domination of Asia. Personally, I don’t think that with the exception of defending Japan or the Phillipines, we should care. I’m am more concerned about the Islamic Threat and the Collpase of Mexico.  Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia are not worth one drop of American Blood.  Actually, if China invaded Malaysia and Indonesia I would be for it, the Chinese would teach the Muzzies a lesson!

China Tax Cut leads to increase Auto Sales

Hey Obama and company, maybe you guys need to learn from China. They have reduced taxes on some car models and presto, the sales have gone up.

China February Auto Sales Rise 25% After Tax Cuts

March 10 (Bloomberg) — China vehicle sales surged 25 percent in February, the first gain in four months, after the government cut taxes on some models, helping the country extend its lead as the world’s largest auto market this year.

Sales of passenger cars, buses and trucks climbed to 827,600, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said today in Beijing. The tally in the first two months rose 2.7 percent to 1.56 million, compared with a 39 percent decline to 1.35 million in the U.S.

What irony of history. A former Communist nation understands lower taxes, not increased spending spurs the economy. I’m not an Economic Conservative, but I’m not a Marxist like the government we have here. This is a sad day that China is becoming more capitalist, while we become Socialist.

Chinese Vessels harass Navy ship

Could this be related with North Korea’s warning of war I posted here yesterday?
Remember, China and North Korea are allies.

Pentagon: Chinese vessels harassed unarmed ship

WASHINGTON (AP) – The Pentagon charged Monday that five Chinese ships shadowed and maneuvered dangerously close to a U.S. Navy vessel in an apparent attempt to harass the American crew.Defense officials in the Obama administration said the incident Sunday followed several days of “increasingly aggressive” acts by Chinese ships in the region. The incident took place in international waters in the South China Sea, about 75 miles south of Hainan Island.

Several days, I don’t believe this is a coincidence. I believe this is China’s way of telling us to leave North Korea alone.

North Korea warns US to not shoot down their Satellite

The North Koreans are warning the Obama administration against shooting down their Missile that they might test.

N. Korea warns intercepting ‘satellite’ will prompt counterstrike

PYONGYANG/BEIJING, March 9 (AP) – (Kyodo)—North Korea warned Monday that any move to intercept what it calls a satellite launch and what other countries suspect may be a missile test-firing would result in a counterstrike against the countries trying to stop it.

“We will retaliate (over) any act of intercepting our satellite for peaceful purposes with prompt counterstrikes by the most powerful military means,” the official Korean Central News Agency quoted a spokesman of the General Staff of the Korean People’s Army as saying.

If countries such as the United States, Japan or South Korea try to intercept the launch, the North Korean military will carry out “a just retaliatory strike operation not only against all the interceptor means involved but against the strongholds” of the countries, it said.

“Shooting our satellite for peaceful purposes will precisely mean a war,” it added.

Obama better think twice about picking a fight with North Korea. It’s funny he kisses up to Iran but wants to piss off North Korea. This isn’t the change I want.

China has announced another increase in their military spending. The amount doesn’t seem as much but most agree China spends more than they admit.

China to increase defense spending by 15 per cent

China is to increase official military spending by almost 15 per cent this year as it seeks to upgrade its smart technology and improve the living standards of its soldiers.

Here’s the key paragraph in the article

He said that this year military spending would be 6.3 per cent of the total budget, and 1.4 per cent of GDP, compared to four per cent in the United States and two per cent in Britain and France.

My hope is that if China ever goes to war, it is against Islam and not us.

China ‘using cyberwarfare to challenge US power’

by Rodan ( 3 Comments › )

It’s a shame we keep borrowing money from these Fascists. They are using our money to build up their military and buy our own debt. I don’t trust this regime. Although I admit I love Chinese Food and Culture. However I detest their regime. Let’s not forget, Islam isn’t the only enemy America has.

China ‘using cyberwarfare to challenge US power’

The report accuses China of using its foreign exchange reserves, built up through “heavy-handed government control” to buy influence.

In one recent example, a government sovereign wealth fund agreed to use the reserves to loan money to Costa Rica in return for its dropping diplomatic recognition of China’s rival, Taiwan.

Meanwhile, it has built up its army of cyber-spies to such an extent that it can launch attacks “anywhere in the world at any time”.

The number of attacks on US government, defence companies and businesses rose by a third in 2007, to 43,880 incidents affecting five million computers, according to the claims by the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission.

Some were so sophisticated that they might be impossible to counteract, or even detect. Meanwhile, its space programme, targeted at what one Chinese military strategist called “America’s soft ribs”, was steadily increasing the vulnerability of US assets.

I wouldn’t mind if China goes after the Jihadists!

CHINA’S CYBER SPIES

by Rodan ( 1 Comment › )
Filed under China at November 12th, 2008 - 1:25 pm

Let’s not forgote we have another enemy: China. The PLA is increasing their capacity to spy and infiltrate our compueter systems. This article should send chills.

GOT news for you: The Chinese are eating our cyber lunch.

In the last few weeks, the media have been filled with reports of Chinese cyber spies penetrating the computer networks of both presidential campaigns and even the White House, reading unclassified, but clearly privileged, e-mails.

Unfortunately, that’s only the beginning of it.

No surprise that the Chinese would be interested in what’s being said in the White House, even the non-secret stuff. White House staffers have access to plenty of information that would be of interest to the chaps in Zhongnanhai (the Chinese leadership compound).

Read the reset here.
