Washington Democrats might be turning on the god-king

Obamacrumbles

Obama whether Conservatives like it or not, is a cultural icon. No matter what he does, the American people support him and trust him. But recent scandals are turning many Democrats in Washington against him. Obama’s arrogance and cult following never sat well with many Establishment Democrats. Now that scandals are occuring, some of them might be turning on the god-king.

The town is turning on President Obama — and this is very bad news for this White House.

Republicans have waited five years for the moment to put the screws to Obama — and they have one-third of all congressional committees on the case now. Establishment Democrats, never big fans of this president to begin with, are starting to speak out. And reporters are tripping over themselves to condemn lies, bullying and shadiness in the Obama administration.

Obama’s aloof mien and holier-than-thou rhetoric have left him with little reservoir of good will, even among Democrats. And the press, after years of being accused of being soft on Obama while being berated by West Wing aides on matters big and small, now has every incentive to be as ruthless as can be.

This White House’s instinctive petulance, arrogance and defensiveness have all worked to isolate Obama at a time when he most needs a support system. “It feel like they don’t know what they’re here to do,” a former senior Obama administration official said. “When there’s no narrative, stuff like this consumes you.”

Republican outrage is predictable, maybe even manageable. Democratic outrage is not.

The best thing Republicans can do is just let the facts come out and let the chips fall where they may. If they start with hyperbole and hysteria, the public will tune out these scandals. Jon Stewart going after Obama has more impact on the public than Rush Limbaugh ranting. Death by a 1000 cuts is a better strategy than an attempted knock out blow that too many Conservatives think they will achieve.

Obama is NOT a normal politician. He’s a cultural icon and has a hold on the majority of Americans whether we like it or not. Its best for the Right to let the Regime self destruct as they appear to be.

Mexicans see through Obama’s rhetoric

Obamaoratory

Thanks to the media and popular culture, Obama is considered a great Orator. He has promised to made the Earth cool down and stop the waters from rising. He has raised expectations and has had people even pass out during his speech. A large numbers of Americans love the man. Not everyone gets impressed when Obama speaks.

A group of Mexicans who attended an Obama speech, saw right through him. The flowery oratory did not impress them.

MEXICO CITY — After President Obama’s upbeat speech in Mexico on Friday, many in attendance said they were flattered by the description of their country, but others said they hardly recognized the place he had just described.

“[That was] a really good speech by President Obama, but what Mexico was he talking about?” said Jose Carlos Cruz, 24, a graduate student in international relations. “Unfortunately in our country, the situation is terrible: There’s poverty, unemployment, and even worse, the future is anything but promising.

“How nice that he came to give inspiring speeches, but what’s happening in Mexico is far from what he talked about today,” Cruz said.

Alberto Rios Lara, 26, who is studying to be an economist, said: “Obama is a great speaker — it’s really impossible not to feel excited. However, the reality is different in Mexico. We need more action and fewer speeches.”

[....]

Rosa Castro, a 43-year-old college professor, said that the upbeat tone sounded curiously similar to the messaging of the new government, which has been seeking to downplay the issue of violence and drug cartels in favor of a narrative of modernization, reform and economic growth.

“My question is: Who wrote Obama’s speech — Enrique Peña Nieto’s team?” Castro asked. “Obama is fantastic, but I believe that today, he was talking about another country, not ours.”

I wish more Americans would see through Obama’s soaring speeches and false promises.

Israeli Rabbi declares Obama a king

Obama has a high opinion of himself and thinks he’s some great visionary who the world should follow. Some Israeli Rabbi has decided to feed into his ego. Rabbi Ovadia Yosef has declared Obama a King.

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef told his students that there is a great interest in seeing a king during this time and that Obama is a kind of king in our time. The rabbi added that it’s a mitzvah to try to see President Obama in person.

Rabbi Ovadia Yosef was asked by his students how to behave in relation to the visit by the American president, and if and how to [recite a] blessing upon seeing him. In Ovadia’s opinion, anyone who is fortunate enough to see the president must [recite the blessing thanking God] “Gives dignity to flesh and blood.”

The rabbi explained that President Obama today is thought of as a king: “He can declare war on an enemy state and he has the authority to pardon those sentenced to death.”

Obama is already considered a god-king by many Americans.

Australian actor Russell Crowe calls Obama the Light and the Future!

I find it hypocritical that foreigners complain about the United States getting involved in other nations politics. Yet when given a chance, foreigners love to get involved in American politics! Australian actor Russell Crowe is the latest non American trying to influence American elections.

Russell Crowe teweeted out that Americans must vote for Obama. He all but calls Obama a god-king by referring him as “the light and the future.”

Twitchy nails this tweet perfectly by Obama. They use a term that many on this blog would be familiar with.

Crowe continues the creep with prattling about “global awareness” and such. He’s a Citizen of the World ™, you see. And his world revolves around Man-God Obama.

Russell Crowe keeps pushing the Obama as god-king theme. When confronted by Conservatives on Twitter who point out that he’s not an American, the Australian actor responds with some one world nonsense and that Obama is some global Lightworker.

Russell Crowe really believes Obama is a divine being coming to save humanity. The good thing his opinion doesn’t amount to anything. Mr. Crowe is not a citizen and can’t vote in our elections. Come November 6th, Crowe will be in a depression as his light is extingush!

Obama gave me a phone!

I will never forget that crazy woman who said Obama would pay for her car and her mortgage. At the time people thought she was exaggerating. Well it turns out, she was not lying. An Obama supporter protesting Romney, brags about how Obama is giving out free cell phones and putting everyone on disability.

This is just so sad on so many levels. This is what is propping up Obama in the polls. He is making Americans of all colors his dependent slaves. This is part of the Progressive plan!

The Left’s beloved god-king running out of patience

Oh my, I am quaking in my shoes! The Left’s almighty and divine god-king, Obama, is running out of patience. He is angry at Romney and the Republicans for using his “you didn’t build that” comments against him. Clearly, he knows he let his true Marxist colors be revealed. Seeing that the attacks are having an effect, he is whining like the chump he is.

SEATTLE – President Barack Obama said Tuesday that he’s losing his patience over the Republican attacks aimed at his “you didn’t build that” comment.

“I have to tell you, I generally have patience with what the other side says about me, that’s a requirement of this job,” Obama said during a $5,000-per-plate fundraiser here, according to the pool report.

“And if you don’t like folks talking about you, you probably shouldn’t run for president. The one thing I do have no patience for is this argument that somehow what I’m criticizing is success… I want to promote success,” Obama said.

Obama is typical of a Progressives. He can dish it out but he can’t take a punch. The media are circling the wagons making up excuses for the phony Pharaoh. No matter how they spin it, Obama expressed his real sentiments. He believes that government, not businesses, create prosperity. The god-king thinks all successful businesses owe the government. Anyone hearing that speech knew what Obama was getting at.

In a sign of desperation the media is tilting polls heavily in favor of Obama. The latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll is a case in point. It has Obama defeating Romney 49%-43%. They produced this result, by creating a +11 Democratic sample of 46%!

There is no way 46% of the electorate is Democratic. Yet even with this large favorable sample Obama only beats Romney by 6%, which shows he’s in trouble. The god-king maybe losing patience but so are the American people with his failed policies.

A bad economy might not matter in 2012

by Rodan ( 83 Comments › )
Filed under Barack Obama, Cult of Obama, Economy, Elections 2012, Mitt Romney, Progressives at July 9th, 2012 - 8:30 am

Many Conservatives are over confident in the prospects of defeating Obama. This is  a very dangerous attitude to take. About 3 weeks ago I thought Obama was in the verge of collapse. Bad economic numbers and the Romney’s campaign’s rapid response seemed to have caught Obama off guard. But then Obama counter attacked.

Obama’s immigration order, which let me make clear I feel was illegal since only Congress has the power of naturalization, is popular with American voters. Republicans botched the response on this by getting emotional instead of pointing out the illegality of the order. This undercut Romney’s measured response. Then Obama began a new assault on Bain Capital’s history of outsourcing. This has damaged Romney’s poll standing in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Other ads claim Romney will raise taxes on the poor and cut them for the rich. Here is what a low information voter’s impression of the election is due to these ads.

Their target: voters like Jessica Bruning, 28, of Holstein, Iowa.

“I don’t get a chance to see the news a lot,” Bruning, who was called in the USA TODAY Poll, said in a follow-up phone interview. “I have two kids and go to school and work. Seeing the ads every day helps me catch up. I see what they are going to do.”

What has she learned? That Obama has been pushing to keep student loan rates low — she’s attending community college to be certified as a welder, so that’s an important issue for her — and that Romney “wants to cut taxes for the rich people and raise them for the poor.”

“I don’t think that’s cool,” she says. She plans to vote for Obama.

Instead of responding to these charges, Mitt Romney took a vacation while Obama did campaign stops. Clearly Mitt Romney is overconfident that a bad economy will lead him to victory. This is a dangerous assumption when Obama is more than a normal politician, he is a cultural symbol.

WASHINGTON (AP) — History repeats itself, until it doesn’t.

That musty saw is worth remembering as pundits speculate on whether the lumbering economy will doom the re-election hopes of President Barack Obama, who has shown a knack for beating odds and breaking barriers.

Clearly, some important trends are working against him. The latest evidence came Friday in a lackluster jobs report that said the nation’s unemployment rate was stuck at 8.2 percent.

[...]

Yet Obama runs even with, or slightly ahead of, Republican rival Mitt Romney in poll after poll. Campaign strategists debate the reasons.

They might include Obama’s personal likability, gaps in Romney’s strategy or Americans’ grudging acceptance of a new normal in which millions of jobs are gone for good and no single person is responsible.

If high unemployment “was a killer, he’d already be dead,” said Republican pollster and consultant Mike McKenna. “The survey data tells you he’s not dead.”

There’s a problem with applying historical precedents and conventional wisdom to Obama. He sometimes defies them.

Read that last sentence very carefully. It is the most truthful analysis about Obama I have seen. He defies conventional wisdom. His poll standings are in the upper 40′s, despite everything wrong that he has done. He has survived a scandal like Fast and Furious, that would have destroyed any other administration. Yet Obama is virtually untouched and is in better shape politically than he was even 3 weeks ago.

Many will deny or come up with the excuses of bad polling samples. Those are valid criticisms but we must assume the data is correct. Its time for Conservatives to stop living in this fantasy that Obama will lose in a landslide. It’s a dangerous delusion that will hand the election to Obama.

The Romney campaign, the Republican Party and Conservatives must grasp the ugly truth about Obama. He is not a normal politician that normal political rules apply to. Obama is virtual political god-king/savior to a large segment of Americans. People overlook his failings because they have faith in the man. They really believe that Obama is trying his best and just needs more time. They refuse to see his failures and cling onto anything positive. This is what we are dealing with, a cultural phenomenon aided by the media and the entertainment industry. To many Americans Obama really is a god-king.

Romney needs to offer a clear alternative to Obama. His whole campaign is “I am not Obama.” That may help rally Conservatives who hate Obama, but it does nothing to win over Independents who decide elections. Plus to be frank, no one personally likes Romney. What Romney needs to do is offer a vision for a better tomorrow. He also needs to start attacking the concept of Obama as the god-king. Obama’s failures need to be highlighted against the perception that he is part of some galactic essence. The Romney campaign must turn Obama into an object of ridicule.

People can go ahead and trash my thread. They can continue to underestimate Obama and the cultural phenomenon behind him. Mock my post at your own peril. I hope the Romney campaign wakes up and realizes what it is up against. I really don’t want to have to do an I told you so post on November 7th. Obama can be beaten but first you have to realize what you are up against.

What to do:

Let’s get an email campaign going to give the Romney campaign some ideas. My idea is to have commercials mocking the Obama as god-king theme espoused by the people in the video clips below.

The ads could have clips of the 2 fools above and then show his failed policies. This would be very damaging and begin to strip away the Obama is god-king myth the media and culture have built up. That’s my idea.

Email your ideas!

NPR pushes the Obama as a God-King Theme!

by Rodan ( 149 Comments › )
Filed under Barack Obama, Cult of Obama, Progressives at June 27th, 2012 - 8:00 pm

The concept of the God-King is one that has been around since probably the times of the Annunaki (Ancient Aliens/Fallen Angels). The Kings who claimed decent from this non Earth beings passed themselves off as Gods. Ancient Egypt is a prime example. The Pharaohs were the epitome of the concept of a god-king. They had Priests that would proclaim their divinity and have people worship the Pharaohs. If a Pharaoh was removed, they were declared to be false gods. The Emperor Caligula declared himself a God as did various other Roman Emperor.Although this may seem as Ancient history, it has returned with a  vengeance.

Ever since his 2004 Democratic Convention speech, the media proclaimed Obama a political messiah.  In cover after cover, they would put Obama in a  halo or Aura. Even Thomas of Newsweek even called him god! He was heralded as a light worker and a semi divine being.  Now in 2012, despite 3 years of failed economic policies and his ineptitude being revealed, he is still viewed as a god-king Pharaoh by many Americans

At around 130 days until Election Day, National Public Radio thought it would be nice to give the President a little boost by going back to its 2008 practice of assigning to Obama the god-like powers of The One, The Light Bringer, The Obammessiah.

This time tax dollar supported NPR thought it would be nice to air the claim that the mere sound of Obama’s voice can part the clouds, stop that depressing ol’ rain, and bring out the sun. No, really.

On Tuesday, June 26, NPR correspondent Scott Horsley reported from a New Hampshire Obama rally and his report reads alternately like a campaign advertisement for President Obama, a Super PAC attack ad on Mitt Romney, and a cult-like deification of The One.

[....]

NPR’s Horsley: By the time the President finished speaking, the rain had stopped, and a little sunshine was peeking through the clouds. That gave David O’Donnell of Portsmouth one more reason to be impressed with Mr. Obama.

Rally Participant O’Donnell: See what his voice does? It clears up the weather, too. It clears up the economy, creates jobs, helps education, and straightens out the weather.

I can not emphasize this enough. We are not dealing with a  politician, we are dealing with a symbol. Obama’s poll numbers are still in the mid 40′s, when they should be in the 30′s. He has a cult like hold on too many Americans. Nothing seems to politically fatally hurt Obama. Obama the god-king myth needs to be shattered. The fact you have Americans who think his voice makes the rain stop is something that should send chills down the spines of Americans.

Here is my prediction about an (God forbid) Obama 2nd term. Obama with the assistance of Hollywood special effects perform some sign. He will pull a  Caligula that he is a Divine being who has come to rescue humanity.  Term limits will be repealed and office of Presidency will be changed to the office of the Divine leader. I wish I was joking, but I truly believe this. That’s why despite my disagreements with Romney and the Republican party , they are too Progressive-Left for my taste,  he needs to be removed. We are dealing with Cult here and it must be defeated for all our sakes.

Newsweek pushes the Obama is a god-king theme!

Newsweek had a provocative cover claiming Obama was the first Gay President. Many of us suspect Obama bats for the other team and his marriage to Michelle Obama is just a political sham. However, its not Obama’s sexuality that is important, its once again the concept of Obama as the god-king is being pushed.

Newsweek’s placing of a halo above Obama is not a coincidence. Ever since he began to run for President, the Progressive media has poushed the Obama as divine saviour theme. The Left has pushed that narrative that Obama is here to redeem America’s sins. That’s why every chnage they get, the media shows Obama with a halop like background. He is a Pharaoh to to the left and this cover keeps pushing that theme.

This Newsweek cover shows the false idol worship the media has for Obama. They have proclaimed him a wise god-king that all Americans must worship. Well I am one American who refuses to worship a false God.
